An overview of my personal experience of the respective company: Mr Dean Pugh has proved himself to be a consummate professional, having undertaken tasks of a range of sizes. I had originally located ‘DRP Plumbing and Heating’ via another well-known review site and although based in Ashford his target area did indeed cover Kent as a whole. The primary task was the selection and installation of an energy efficient boiler (with as long a manufacturer’s warranty as possible) by a 'Gas Safe' registered engineer of long-standing. Given just how positive the pre-existing reviews were, I included his in a round of quotations. Dean readily inspired the essential level of confidence and the task was duly assigned. His attention to detail proved to be second to none and the boiler has indeed been a very sound investment in the years since. It was also pleasing to note the importance placed by Dean on leaving the installation area in a very tidy condition (which cannot, unfortunately, always be assumed these days). A couple of years later I found that my bathroom cistern had developed a really annoying slow leak; without hesitation I again called upon DRP’s services and the issue was rectified very promptly.

James very kindly came out to our house tonight to fix a leak that was coming through the light in my bathroom. From the moment he got here he was very efficient, friendly and polite. I was amazed at how quickly he was able to diagnose and solve the issue! I would highly recommend👍

James was really helpful when I was trying to find replacement cartridges for my kitchen mixer and the plumbers’ merchant we were both using were struggling to help. He lent me two sets of his own to try, asking only that I return those that didn’t fit and leave a bit of cash for him to cover the cost of those that fitted. This was all based on trust: you don’t often come across that these days! Thank you, James!

James was very quick to respond (my request was out of hours), was at the property at the time specified and sorted the heating problem (a new programmer was needed) there and then. Very impressed with the level of service, responsiveness and his handling of the job. Would definitely recommend.

We used Paul for a boiler installation. I called him on a very short notice to have a look at our old boiler and he turned up when he said he would. Very happy with his work and professionalism. Since first employing Paul approximately 2 years ago I have always found him to be very punctual, always on time on the agreed date. His work is first class and always clean and tidy. I have found him to be very fairly priced and he only carries out the work that needs to be done. He is also very patient and always explains why he is doing something and how things work. I have recommended Paul to family and friends and now only trust him to carry out all my plumbing jobs as i do trust him to not rip me off or do any unnecessary work. I called High Heating and Plumbing, as we needed a gas engineer to connect our new gas hob. We experienced excellent customer service, great and clear communications, and a prompt reply to our enquiry. We were given a date and time that suited us. Steve, the attending engineer was polite, professional and very tidy. After the swift installation, everything was explained in plain terms, and we were very happy with his work. It was only this morning and I have recommended this company to other people already. Highly recommended. First class.

We had an emergency leak problem this evening and found Stephen's contact via a local group where he was highly recommended. Stephen came promptly even though it was late and he fixed the issue. He is very professional, polite, friendly and explained and showed us what had caused the problem and replaced the broken part. Stephen is very efficient and we are grateful he came out of work hours, at short notice to help us out. We are really pleased with the excellent service and highly recommend Stephen. Paul came to service our boiler and look at a leaking radiator. He was very polite and professional, talked through the whole process so I could have an understanding of how things worked. Pete does our boiler service every year. He was also the person who originally fitted our boiler and he did a great job. He is reliable, responsive, fairly priced and really polite and nice to deal with. I highly recommend him.

We had an old Baxi boiler and needed to replace it. From start to finish Pete from PH Butler responded to emails/phone calls quickly and provided good info and advice during the site visit. When it came to the actual day of installation Pete and his team arrived at the allotted time and worked through the day until the job was finished. They had a few unexpected issues due to our old plumbing but dealt with these without any fuss. They protected the carpet on the stairs and landing and left everything clean and tidy.
