Professional, honest, expert, top quality service and workmanship. Being a perfectionist, I always look for the very best. For heating and plumbing - Thames Flame are exactly that! Whether the issue was big or small, they were always there for me, each and every time. A year ago I thought my family and I would spend at least a week with cold showers because of a broken boiler. Pete does our boiler service every year. He was also the person who originally fitted our boiler and he did a great job. He is reliable, responsive, fairly priced and really polite and nice to deal with. I highly recommend him.

We had an old Baxi boiler and needed to replace it. From start to finish Pete from PH Butler responded to emails/phone calls quickly and provided good info and advice during the site visit. When it came to the actual day of installation Pete and his team arrived at the allotted time and worked through the day until the job was finished. They had a few unexpected issues due to our old plumbing but dealt with these without any fuss. They protected the carpet on the stairs and landing and left everything clean and tidy. Ross is an excellent plumber and heating engineer who I've been using and recommending for the last 7 years. He has solved a range of problems with the boiler, radiators and shower that I inherited when I moved in, always working to find and resolve the issue. He installed a new boiler for me and has kept it working like new 5 years on through regular servicing, and replaced multiple radiators and shower parts over the years. He is polite, explains what he is doing and the costs, never pressures you into a decision and always does impeccable work.

Ross came out urgently to deal with a large ceiling water leak/boiler issue and quickly noticed the problem which he resolved straight away. Such professional and efficient service. We were pleased with how easily Ross rectified the issue and have had no problems since. He has since been back to fit new taps for us which he recommended and fitted. James was really helpful when I was trying to find replacement cartridges for my kitchen mixer and the plumbers’ merchant we were both using were struggling to help. He lent me two sets of his own to try, asking only that I return those that didn’t fit and leave a bit of cash for him to cover the cost of those that fitted. Fitted an additional part at no extra charge. Even wore little blue plastic socks to cover his shoes. Highly recommend, will use again. Lee is great. He has fitted a completely new bathroom in our home. He guided us through the process answering all questions and recommending other great local trades people. The bathroom now looks brilliant. When we moved into our home he helped with lots of small repairs (leaking taps, radiators not working properly, installing new units etc) and was incredibly helpful and responsive. Dean has been our go-to plumber for the last eight years. He has done a variety of plumbing work for us over the years and I recently called him about a leakage in one of the pipes where the hot water cylinder is and also a leakage from one of our radiators. He responded promptly and came over to have a look and identified the cause of the problem and fixed it very efficiently as usual. His customer service is excellent; he is very courteous, understanding and helpful. Competent, knowledgeable, clean and tidy. Very professional. Dean is an honest and reliable guy and I have always found his quotes to be very competitive. Finding a tradesman you can trust and build a relationship with when it comes to repair and maintenance work is a big plus and Dean is one of those people. We would thoroughly recommend him and will call him again when we need any plumbing work undertaken. Review Update on 25/1/2025 I can’t recommend Dean highly enough! He’s been my trusted plumbing expert for years, and every experience has been outstanding. Yesterday, he replaced a faulty pressure relief valve that connects to the hot water cylinder in our home, and once again, I was blown away by his expertise and professionalism. What truly sets him apart is his reliability and the care he puts into his work. He shows up on time, explains everything clearly, and ensures the job is done to the highest standard. An overview of my personal experience of the respective company: Mr Dean Pugh has proved himself to be a consummate professional, having undertaken tasks of a range of sizes. I had originally located ‘DRP Plumbing and Heating’ via another well-known review site and although based in Ashford his target area did indeed cover Kent as a whole. The primary task was the selection and installation of an energy efficient boiler (with as long a manufacturer’s warranty as possible) by a 'Gas Safe' registered engineer of long-standing. Given just how positive the pre-existing reviews were, I included his in a round of quotations. Dean readily inspired the essential level of confidence and the task was duly assigned. His attention to detail proved to be second to none and the boiler has indeed been a very sound investment in the years since. It was also pleasing to note the importance placed by Dean on leaving the installation area in a very tidy condition (which cannot, unfortunately, always be assumed these days). A couple of years later I found that my bathroom cistern had developed a really annoying slow leak; without hesitation I again called upon DRP’s services and the issue was rectified very promptly.

Nialls is no ordinary plumbing company! They come when they say that they are going to come, they explain in simple language the problem, suggest how to resolve the issue, and are patient when giving instructions. Cleaned up after themselves and didn't make a mess. We felt confident that Niall really knows what he is talking about and felt totally at ease at his diagnostic skills. Fantastic plumber, highly recommended! Niall made the whole process very easy. I first explained the problem, Niall requested a few pictures of the hot water tank to help with the diagnosis and before he even came round had a good idea what could be the problem. Quoted me a very reasonable price if the problem turned out to be what he thought. Niall was prompt turning up and had problem fixed in 10 minutes, but then spent the next 15 minutes showing me how I can fix this problem if it happens again, checking all my radiators and my boiler. Will always use Niall from now on if I need a plumber.

Niall came highly recommended, from start to finish he was polite and professional. He kept in regular contact in regards to appointment times and even called on the day to let us know he was on his way. On the day itself Niall turned up and was able to diagnose the problem but didn't just leave, he waited to ensure everything was working correctly and explained everything to us and recommended some improvements.
