Recently took our very nervous Patterdale terrior for an annual check. Given that the dog is so nervous we rang and asked if we could use the side entrance to avoid the waiting room. The immediate response was "Of course, not a problem, we'll come and get.you from the car" The vet has to be careful as our dog can and will turn and snap.( She's a rescue dog, we're not sure of her early life). Vet was patient in the extreme and did an excellent job of checking her. Been using this surgery from back when some 30 years. It was then Sherlock and Woodward. Standard remains excellent through all that time. If 6 stars existed I would give that...

I don’t often write reviews, but really wanted to thank you. We took our little dog to Sherwoods for the first time after another vet practice gave us 3 different quotes for the same lump removal and dental that they said our dog needed. The vet at Sherwoods examined our little lad and although having his history from our previous vet (which recommended the surgery) decided that at this time there was no need for the lump to be remove or a dental that the previous vet had said he needed and to just keep an eye on it and if it changes to come back. It is very hard to find a good honest vet and walking out of Sherwoods I felt that we had finally found one! Thankyou!!!

The team at Sherwood were brilliant! We arrived unregistered in an emergency with our cat and they saw her straight away and all staff were so kind and compassionate. Thank you.

Everyone was very helpful and thoughtful. We also learnt how to get a cat into a carrier😮without stressing out our old girl.

I would just like to take the time to thank Dani and Sally, and team for yesterday, not only having to deal with a hysterically owner (me), but for dealing with a very sensitive subject in such a beautiful manner, and also for being with my most beautiful boy in his last moments. For Dani being there right till the end. Also for Sally helping me with the whole situation and the lovely receptionists who put me through to the right people, with such understanding. I can't thank you enough and I can't tell you how hard yesterday was for me. But the care, diligence you all showed for myself, and love for Hunter, I am externally grateful. Very professional, friendly staff. Accommodating especially when I’ve only turned up to an appointment with one of my cats. Vets have been fantastic with my 2 cats.

I have been with this surgery for several years for my dog. She has had appointments over the years for numerous issues including standard check ups, arthritis injections and dental surgery. All the girls there are lovely. The phone is answered promptly, appointments are easy to come by, everyone is very friendly and genuinely care about your pet. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone

We have been with St George’s Veterinary Centre for a number of years. We changed to this practice after we were unhappy with our previous vets. Emily and her team were a breath of fresh air in the treatment of our little Mopsy. Sadly we had to let Mopsy go a couple of weeks ago, Emily and team were so compassionate at looking after us and Mopsy. I cannot thank them enough at such a difficult time. I would not hesitate to recommend this practice.

We used to take our loved Kazan with Dr Emily Thompson. She always knew or found any problem or condition and always right medication and recomendations. Excellent experience always and totally recommended.

I love this vet practice, it's so very hard to find an independent practice that is not part of a huge group. The staff are so friendly and will do everything they can to help. I wouldn't go anywhere else now, I can't praise them enough

I couldn't recommend St George's enough. Emily and her team are caring and compassionate and we've never had any problems in seeking an appointment when needed. We first registered at St Georges with our cat as we were after a second opinion and the level of care we received at the time was outstanding. We have remained with the practice who have since cared for our dog, Crumble.

Amazing service and compassion for all involved in an incredibly emotional and exhaustive process. You could not be in better hands from the first phone call to the amazing Toni (lovely healthy treat lady) and on to all the medical staff. Ironically you really never want take your loved one here but if you have to go somewhere like this please go to Aura.

The Aura team helped save our pug Stevie. Everyone who we had help us was amazing from the start when we thought we were going to loose her, to the finish when we were thankful reunited with her. The reception team were so kind and supportive, the finance department even came to help explain to us better about insurance because it’s the first time we’ve ever had to use it, and the nurses and vets that helped save our babies life were incredible. I am so grateful for everything they did and will never stop recommending them to everyone 🐾🤍🐾

Jonathan operated on my beloved Bichon Frise, successfully removing a part of his liver that had cancer cells. The fees are higher than other specialists, but the waiting time for a consultation certainly made up for it. Having initially been referred somewhere else where the waiting list for a consultation was 4 weeks, I sought Aura, who were able to see my dog the same week. His recovery has been tremendous, and the twice daily calls whilst he was an inpatient showed they truly care for both the dogs and the owners. Follow-up calls were also much appreciated, I never once felt like my dog and I were just another number. Would highly recommend!

Our lovely cat Rosemary of 18years, health deteriorated quickly and when we reached out to our own vet of 20years we couldn’t get an appointment within reasonable time. We contacted Medivet Evegate- Montgomery, who gave us the opportunity to attend straight away and we were seen within 15 minutes of arriving. The whole service and compassion from all staff involved (reception lady who was so kind on the phone when I started crying and she led us into a consultation room and offered drinks and tissues, to the kind vet who was with us till the end with Rosemary ) was second to none. We would highly recommend this veterinary practice. We also received a beautiful card in the post today which meant so much to us. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts!

First time at this veterinary practice and wow Clive had so much time for our precious girl liquorice, expained everything we needed to know, even though he was running behind nothing absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Thank you too to the nurse that stayed late to do the bloods.Friendly staff, made you feel welcome the minute you walked through the door Lin was there to greet you. A massive thank you to you all.

Faultless service from first contact. The kindness and support shown when my lovely old boa constrictor sadly had to be put to sleep was amazing, right up to and including when he was collected for cremation. Would 100% recommend this practice!!

From a telephone call to arrange an appointment to arriving at the reception desk and onward, everyone that I ever come in to contact with are very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. This is a great, friendly practice. It’s reasonably easy to get an appointment, there’s always been parking available and you don’t have to wait around for ages. I first visited with a friend and immediately changed from my previous practice, as the vibe was so good. Even my dog likes it!

Lovely vets. All the staff are so kind & caring. Our Addison's rescue dog is terrified of the vets, but the team are so great with her (especially Emily & Alex!) & I'm sure she realises they saved her, after a recent Addison's crisis. Great team!

After having seen several negative reviews I feel the need to add my view. Both my previous dog and my current one have had the utmost care from all of the staff at this practice. They have worked with me to find the best treatment at the time and they have actually saved me money on various occasions. All of the staff are caring and compassionate and will do everything they can to make sure my dog was/is given the best treatment possible . I can only say what my experiences have been but I am completely satisfied they have given 110% regarding the welfare of my animals.

Amazing vets. I moved from another vets to these, and am so glad. Very caring staff. Vets who put the animals needs before money. Never had an issue getting an appointment, and usually got a same or next day appointment when I've had concerns.

Have recently transferred to this vets after several recommendations from family and friends. Have only been once so far but all the receptionists/nurses and vets seem very friendly and knowledgeable. They seem to really care about your animals welfare rather than making money selling you things you don't need.

Probably the best independent vet in the Ashford area. They look after your pet like it's their own with no conglomerate overpriced fees. Highly recommend

I would just like to say thankyou to the nurse who dealt with us tonight (31/12/24) when we come to pick up my fur baby Jasper. He had sadly been hit on chart road and died last night. The nurse who dealt with us was blonde didn't catch her name. She was very compassionate, and sympathetic, whilst being very professional. She put us at ease. Thankyou so much. She is a credit to Vets now Ashford.

Absolutely fantastic service. The staff are truly wonderful and clearly love animals. We took our cat Charlie on a Saturday night to see the emergency vet and the service she received was 10 stars.

My dog was severely ill and my own vets would not see us as they had no availability. I rushed him to a different vets who admitted him immediately but told us to be prepared for the worst. At 8pm vets now took over his care. They gave us regular updates and gave our pup the best care which meant he made a full recovery. The team were great and I will be forever grateful to them

Recently had to take our cat to Companion Care for multiple visits due to an ongoing health issue that unfortunately resulted in our little friend no longer being with us. This was a very difficult time for us but the staff were exceptional from start to finish! The care and compassion shown by every colleague made the whole experience more bearable and we genuinely felt they done everything they could possibly do to help us through it. I would like to thank everyone at Companion Care for their advice, kind words and compassion. It meant a lot to our family. Terrific Vets looked after our Harvey until his last day x Extremely good with dogs wasn't good with anybody and I remember 6 years ago he bit one of the vets awkwardly on the thumb normally that would be game over find another vet but nope not Companion Care. When we got that call that ripped us to shreds when our Harvster was riddled with Cancer they were so understanding. Thank you so very very much for making our Brave little boy welcome to his last days 😭😭😭😭 xx

Easy access to appointments and fully staffed with vets , nurses and receptionists who are very friendly, kind and professional. A good first visit for me and my two senior rescue dogs .
