Medivet Loughborough provide one of the best veterinary care services I’ve ever experienced. It is clear they care for pets and their families at an individual level, according to their specific needs. We have a nervous border collie and they are always so caring and patient with him :-) they’re the best! Special thanks to Rachael Wallace for all her time and patience :-)

I am so pleased about the advice I get from Kayleigh — the top nurse — regarding my three little dogs’ welfare. Whenever I need to check my best buddies’ weight or ask for anything regarding health issues, I know I will get top professional advice. This practice really does love pets - as soon as you enter you can see a lovely and colourful display of the staff’s own pets.

Took our Rescue cat Casper from Loughborough Kitten Rescue for his 2nd vaccine today, lovely lady vet with blonde hair, said she had only started yesterday. Casper didnt flinch was quite at ease. Receptionist also very friendly and helpful. They had a sign saying a cat was passing over the rainbow bridge, lovely respectful touch. I've owned cats 30 years and this vets felt very homely, great team 👏

On recommendation this was my first visit with Jasmine. We saw Holly. She was competent and very understanding of our concerns over Jasmine. I was phoned later in the day with results of blood tests. All was discussed a level I could understand an the way forward was outlined. I was very happy that I took Jasmine there and would not hesitate to recommend Phoenix vets

What an amazing place! We were greeted by Gemma, who is so very lovely and she called our dog by her name (bonus point) . We filled out the forms then Vivienne was taken away for her procedure. I got a phone call telling me when to pick her up, with plenty of time to get organized. We arrived back and were given all the information for her post op care, drugs etc, which was also in an email. Laura, the smashing veterinary nurse picked Vivi up and carried her to our car after her surgery- she's a Frenchie and the collar was vast, so she couldn't walk with it! Everybody there was so kind, caring and approachable we signed up for the prevention plan with them. I cannot recommend Phoenix Vets enough. Thank you for being such a great surgery.

From walking through the door to walking out, the whole team are professional, caring & will have a laugh. The place itself is spotlessly clean & well set out, plenty of seating. The actual consultation rooms are both clean & spacious. The vets explain everything fully & if you ask any questions the answers are provided without being made to feel stupid. I chose to go to the Phoenix veterinary clinic with my very poorly dog, who I feel my previous vets did not pick up on her condition, but sadly it was too late for any treatment for her. Everyone at the Phoenix were fantastic with my baby girl & myself, I left upset but felt she was going to be taken care of. A couple of days later I collected her ashes, the presentation, candle, cards & print of her paw were just so special & personal & I thank you all so very much. I have been recently with my other dog, Nick examined him, gave 2 injections & medication, 24 hours later Bobby was a different boy so again I thank you all very much. xx

Mimi was seen by a caring and experienced vet within an hour of my phone call. Fleas were soon diagnosed and Mimi was given a careful overall examination. The appropriate remedy was prescribed and the medication dispensed by the receptionist. It is really good to have an independent veterinary practice locally, who offer 24/7 service. Most vets nowadays work for practices owned by big businesses whose only interest is to make money. Phoenix Vets are friendly people, with a smart modern surgery in Loughborough, with good car parking. Richard B

Booked my new puppy in for vaccinations and microchip etc, was warmly welcomed by reception staff, the vet herself and the pharmacy team, every procedure was explained thoroughly and I was offered options on each, never experienced that before. The fuss my Nellie got was amazing, would highly recommend and will definitely be using phoenix in the future

Charlotte, Giles and gang are the absolute ultimate in caring for our pups. Billy has had a medically tough life, but all through, he has been helped by the very best. If it wasn't for these guys, he wouldn't have been able to live his life in happiness. When it became too much, they helped him cross the rainbow bridge with sadness, compassion and their love was so evident. Thanks for everything, guys

I have just done an update on my previous review posted and it went AWOL! Anyway, as promised - if the lead vet at this practice managed to change the procedures at the point of euthanasia for pets, consultation, form filling, double checking etc that I would change my review back to what this practice deserves for the medical care of your pets. This I have done. I'll give it 5 stars. Great vets, always available in emergencies, great receptionists. Wishing Park Vets all the best for the future from me, Dawn and Sheba. Thanks for looking after her while she was alive. Would highly recommend👍🏼

I use the scraptoft lane branch. Spotless. Good parking. Reception staff couldn't be more helpful. Been 4 times now and always get swift, informative, reasonably priced service. It's obviously a happy place, well run and trustworthy. When I needed a prescription treatment (my dog won't tolerate spot-on), they advised me to get the prescription from them but not the medicine because it was cheaper online. I won't be using anyone else.

Took my Yorkshire Terrier to have her teeth cleaned yesterday and was delighted with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff! I’d been quoted minimum £500 for a scale and polish by my current vet so, being shocked at the price, I told some fellow dog walkers who recommended I rang Kings. I’m pleased to say they did a brilliant job at a cost of £195 (

We have just taken our very old cat to see Eddie at this veterinary practice. Wow, what a lovely and knowledgeable man, who has genuine care and compassion for the animals he sees. He sat with us for 35 minutes explaining possible options for our cat, and went into detail about his condition. Thank you so much, I couldn’t have asked for a better vet. Eddie is a credit to this practice. Thank you so much.

I also want to say a big Thankyou to the lovely nurse Kayley for her care and compassion, she’s a star. Also the welcoming reception staff, thankyou , a great team. Julie Williams

Rating: 4.6 (1188) Price Level:

What an outstanding experience at the Park Vet Group in Glenfield. Plenty of parking and we were immediately greeted by helpful and friendly reception staff, rather than a bank of plastic screens. Nothing was too much trouble and I love that they have a completely separate, well equipped waiting room for cats. A special thank you to Millie, the vet we saw. She explained everything very clearly and I really felt listened to. I can't say that Bubble enjoyed the experience (she never does), but I'm sure she secretly liked the fuss Millie made of her – she sends kitty kisses x x. Thank you to your whole team for a job well done.

Update - June 2024 Took my cat Noodle to Park Vet as he has his UTI problem again, vet was so good with noodle, checked him through and had a chat with us, recommended some supplements as well as give some painkillers when he needs it. Vet was very understanding about his weight issue too, rather than shame us, she suggested to keep him active with toys as he’s an indoor cat, obviously gets less exercise. This time, the vet divided half to dog waiting area and half for cats, think it’s a great idea. They also have some areas for cats to “hide” and blankets to cover them if they are too nervous. My noodle didn’t need this facility but it’s a brilliant idea for some nervous cats. Overall, great experience with the vet and all staff. Thank you ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Visited Park Vet last Tuesday as my cat (Noodle 🐈) had a problem with his eye. Staff was polite on the phone, instruction was clear what to do as COVID situation. Vet (so sorry forgot his name) was absolutely wonderful, friendly, caring & professional, he’s so good with my Noodle. Vet bill is reasonable. Noodle’s eye was a lot better after using eye drop for 2 days, of course we will carry on with meds til end of the course. The place is very clean, with hand sanitiser in many places. All owners & pets wait in car park and only go in when vets / appointments are available, and it’s an one way system. I have heard good reviews about this vet, and I now can confirm they are good.

A special mention for our vet called Ariel, and two vetinary nurses, Stacey and Claire who fought for my dog during and emergency on Friday. Ariel is professional, knowledgeable, comforting and was very helpful in doing everything in his power to get my dog through her ordeal so I can't thank him and the girls enough. If not for them I wouldn't have got more precious time with my girl, and she may not have even made it through if it wasn't for their dedication. You could not ask for a better vets or service. The surgery is big, clean and the staff are absolutely amazing.

Took my cat Skye for her annual booster vaccination. The clinic has a separate section for cats with areas to place your cat off the floor and towels to cover your carrier to make them feel safe. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. The vet we saw was Eleanor and I loved how she interacted with Skye, talking to her all the time and making her feel safe and relaxed. I would give 10 stars 🌟 highly recommended.
