Absolutely the best vets ever could give them 10 stars if I could.been with them for years now Charlotte and Giles were amazing with my mastiff Frank who had lots of health issues till the end and recently sad good bye to my old working Labrador with such compassion and care. They are honest and don't want to rip you off.The whole team are amazing thank you for everything I will never change vets. Xx

Charlotte, Giles and gang are the absolute ultimate in caring for our pups. Billy has had a medically tough life, but all through, he has been helped by the very best. If it wasn't for these guys, he wouldn't have been able to live his life in happiness. When it became too much, they helped him cross the rainbow bridge with sadness, compassion and their love was so evident. Thanks for everything, guys

Always a first class care for my rottie coco snd sammy the staffy bring them for there yearly vaccines and are l really caring also brought in for ear issue with coco and nurse we saw did so much both dogs no longer get anxiety they quite like they day out you r a personal and friendly team thst don't charge the world but give such profession first class treatments Krystyna

Mimi was seen by a caring and experienced vet within an hour of my phone call. Fleas were soon diagnosed and Mimi was given a careful overall examination. The appropriate remedy was prescribed and the medication dispensed by the receptionist. It is really good to have an independent veterinary practice locally, who offer 24/7 service. Most vets nowadays work for practices owned by big businesses whose only interest is to make money. Phoenix Vets are friendly people, with a smart modern surgery in Loughborough, with good car parking. Richard B

Booked my new puppy in for vaccinations and microchip etc, was warmly welcomed by reception staff, the vet herself and the pharmacy team, every procedure was explained thoroughly and I was offered options on each, never experienced that before. The fuss my Nellie got was amazing, would highly recommend and will definitely be using phoenix in the future

What an amazing place! We were greeted by Gemma, who is so very lovely and she called our dog by her name (bonus point) . We filled out the forms then Vivienne was taken away for her procedure. I got a phone call telling me when to pick her up, with plenty of time to get organized. We arrived back and were given all the information for her post op care, drugs etc, which was also in an email. Laura, the smashing veterinary nurse picked Vivi up and carried her to our car after her surgery- she's a Frenchie and the collar was vast, so she couldn't walk with it! Everybody there was so kind, caring and approachable we signed up for the prevention plan with them. I cannot recommend Phoenix Vets enough. Thank you for being such a great surgery.

From walking through the door to walking out, the whole team are professional, caring & will have a laugh. The place itself is spotlessly clean & well set out, plenty of seating. The actual consultation rooms are both clean & spacious. The vets explain everything fully & if you ask any questions the answers are provided without being made to feel stupid. I chose to go to the Phoenix veterinary clinic with my very poorly dog, who I feel my previous vets did not pick up on her condition, but sadly it was too late for any treatment for her. Everyone at the Phoenix were fantastic with my baby girl & myself, I left upset but felt she was going to be taken care of. A couple of days later I collected her ashes, the presentation, candle, cards & print of her paw were just so special & personal & I thank you all so very much. I have been recently with my other dog, Nick examined him, gave 2 injections & medication, 24 hours later Bobby was a different boy so again I thank you all very much. xx

I am so pleased about the advice I get from Kayleigh — the top nurse — regarding my three little dogs’ welfare. Whenever I need to check my best buddies’ weight or ask for anything regarding health issues, I know I will get top professional advice. This practice really does love pets - as soon as you enter you can see a lovely and colourful display of the staff’s own pets.

Medivet Loughborough provide one of the best veterinary care services I’ve ever experienced. It is clear they care for pets and their families at an individual level, according to their specific needs. We have a nervous border collie and they are always so caring and patient with him :-) they’re the best! Special thanks to Rachael Wallace for all her time and patience :-)

Took our Rescue cat Casper from Loughborough Kitten Rescue for his 2nd vaccine today, lovely lady vet with blonde hair, said she had only started yesterday. Casper didnt flinch was quite at ease. Receptionist also very friendly and helpful. They had a sign saying a cat was passing over the rainbow bridge, lovely respectful touch. I've owned cats 30 years and this vets felt very homely, great team 👏

We have used Pinfold Vets since we moved near to the area. Pinfold was recommended and we have used these wonderful people ever since. Our dog Jax is known to the vet team as he is a calamity and they have always been professional and friendly. We would 100% recommend Pinfold Vets to family and friends. 100 times better than my previous vets who were bell, brown and Bentley, All round better service, better quality of care for your pet and not a rip off like BB&V , Vets for pets are far more reasonable in comparison.

We love this practice, they're knowledgeable, kind and go out of their way to help (especially with our diabetic dog). However I really wish they had an exotics vet. Currently there's only 2 serving the entire Leicestershire area and it can be very difficult to get in with them because of their caseload. There are a couple of others that will see an exotic animal but, as I was told during my search, they don't have an actual exotics vet. I recently had an emergency with one of my hedgehogs and Jenny (pretty sure it was her) was wonderful and agreed to take a look because the one exotics vet fell ill before our appointment and the other was still on his leave. She found part of the problem and was able to give me some medication, but I ultimately had to wait over a week until he could get in at Chine House. Meadow Lane PLEASE hire an exotics vet again!

Our little old dog was sadly put to sleep yesterday after a very rapid decline. He luckily hadn't need to go to the vet often and actually hadn't been for some time but the receptionists were brilliant and booked us an appointment. Geraldine the vet was lovely, kind and compassionate and helped confirm it was the best thing we could do for our boy. Everything was peaceful and calm with dignity.

My little dog Reggie had an unfortunate accident, I rushed him to M M Leggett vets in Latimer Street after calling them to see if they could attend to him ,they assessed him straight away and looked after him with great care. Very happy with the service Reggie got from the lovely staff.

Had never used this vets before. But brought our 6 month old kitten for her spaying here yesterday. From the moment we walked in, the staff were so lovely and reassuring. Very caring Absolutely thrilled with the care my kitten received at MM Leggett. They took the time to explain the spaying procedure, answering all of my questions and making me feel at ease. The surgery went smoothly, and I could tell my kitten was in good hands. The staff were incredibly professional and attentive, ensuring that my fur baby was comfortable throughout the process. The follow-up care information provided was detailed and clear, which gave me peace of mind as I took my kitten home. I also appreciated how the clinic emphasised post-operative care, I rang today checking to see what her weight was as I forgot to ask and they asked how my kitten was doing and if I was happy with how she was doing. It’s clear that they genuinely care about their patients and their owners. I highly recommend MM Leggett to anyone looking for compassionate and skilled veterinary services. Took my Yorkshire Terrier to have her teeth cleaned yesterday and was delighted with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff! I’d been quoted minimum £500 for a scale and polish by my current vet so, being shocked at the price, I told some fellow dog walkers who recommended I rang Kings. I’m pleased to say they did a brilliant job at a cost of £195 (

I have a female XL Bully who recently had to be spayed. I was extremely worried after hearing so many horror stories about the breed. Fortunately, the brilliant reception team booked me in with Martin, who was very caring and compassionate about our situation. He answered all my questions with genuine and thoughtful responses. My dog is now in recovery, and the operation was successful. She dislikes the muzzle and was a bit anxious, so the lovely reception team gave me a buzzer to wait outside, recognizing that she was getting worked up. Thank you for not being judgmental about my dog. To any XL Bully owners out there, please keep Chine House in mind. They have been amazing. A big thank you to the reception staff, Martin, and the vet nurses for ensuring my dog was in good hands. The pricing was very reasonable, and I would have happily paid more knowing my girl was safe.

I’m so pleased I took my new tortoise ‘Eric’ to the exotic specialist for a check over. I received so much useful information to help me get things right for my little guy who suffered a bit before I got him. 100% recommended.

As a family we’ve been using Chine House Vets for 46 years. They’re just fantastic in every way. They are more expensive than some but that’s what happens with supply and demand of a quality service. They’re supportive and will coach and mentor but also very honest when needed. They’ve looked after our dogs from puppies, multiple cats and our chickens. Would highly recommend for small animals I don’t have any experience with large animals.

Poor Sam was on his way home on Saturday when we rang and he turned round just for us, and talked us through his findings and explanatory points to look out for. And gave us peace of mind that there there at any time should we need to go back. the reassurance is priceless x thank you x
