I had to visit Oak Barn vets after an incident with a dog I was looking after. They are excellent, helpful, caring and very reassuring. The environment is welcoming and not clinical. I highly recommend.

Highly recomend for reactive dogs and kinda and caring team. We moved from our local vet to Oak Barn Vets a few months ago. Our german shepherd is very nervous and reactive (extremely to dogs) and has to be muzzled. Our previous vets couldn't care less about his needs, so we had to find somewhere else. After some research, my partner found this vets which is a half an hour drive away, on the other side of Guildford. It was the best decision we could have made for him. The team here truly cares about your pets. From the receptionists when we first arrived, to the doctors who helped us and our dog. They are so caring and sympathetic to our situation and circumstances and actively listened to us and wanted to help. We didn't know how our dog would react to the staff as he is also weary of people but he seemed to love them. A massive selling point for us is the side entrance into one of the practice rooms which we could request to avoid bumping into other dogs which was our biggest concern. Sadly we had to put our boy to sleep which was a really tough and heartbreaking decision. The vet team supported us and gave us all the time we needed on the day (I may have over stayed our appointment slightly) but they were very supportive and kind to us and made sure our boy was looked after through this process. We picked his ashes up a few days ago and the receptionist was so kind. He was in a beautiful box with a sympathy card signed by the pet crematorium which I didn't expect but was comforted to recieve. I cannot fault this place. The facilities are perfect and the team are full of wonderful people. If we decided to eventually get another dog we would without hesitation go back.

Took our German Shepard there. Very good very calm with him. Put a muzzle on him like it was nothing and he had absolutely no issues with it. Can’t praise Emily the vet high enough. Really good service

I’ve been bringing my dog to Oakbarn Vets for the past 3 years, and the care has always been exceptional. Dr. Emily and the entire nursing team have been consistently responsive and attentive, providing excellent care and support. They’ve been particularly amazing during emergencies, offering immediate appointments and making sure my dog received the best attention. Highly recommend Oakbarn Vets for their dedication and professionalism!

Took my cat in with a blocked bladder. The staff have been amazing and so supportive. They always take such good care of my little pumpkin and go above and beyond. All the vets are so lovely as well as the receptionists. So grateful for them. Thank you Guildford vets 🥰

I've been a few times to Guildford vets with my dog sky, she's a very big dog she slobbers and looses her fur all over the reception floor poor ladies that have to clear up after her lol. All the reception staff are fantastic and friendly. Always get a lovely cuppa when we visit. The vets have always been very kind and patient with sky they are always calm around her that makes her more relaxed. There prices are very good to. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I can't recommend Guilford Vet enough! The reception staff are so lovely and always happy to help, making you feel welcome as soon as you walk in. Tristan was amazing with my cat, Layla and you could really see how much he cared. The whole team is warm and compassionate, and it’s clear they truly love what they do. The prices are also really reasonable, which just shows they’re all about the animals, not the money. I’m so grateful for the care they provided and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Sadly, our gorgeous 17 year old cat, Munchkin, had to be sent to cat heaven today as she was extremely poorly due to a mass found in her bladder, which was diagnosed by David at The Guildford Vet when we sought a second opinion from him after we weren’t confident about former vet’s diagnosis (which it turns out we were right to question). I cannot express in words how professional, caring, understanding and empathetic everyone is at The Guildford Vet! From the moment I called to ask if we could seek a second opinion from them Kim on reception was amazingly kind and ensured we got registered with them straight away and got an immediate appointment for us with David. At such an emotional and sad time David, Kim and all the team at The Guildford Vet were so very kind and understanding and treated our Munchkin so tenderly - as heartbreaking as it is, we are so grateful her last moments were in their hands. Thank you to David, Kim and all the team for being the lovely people you are who, without a shadow of a doubt, genuinely care for the cherished family pets of your clients.

You could not be in better hands from the first phone call to the amazing Toni (lovely healthy treat lady) and on to all the medical staff. Ironically you really never want take your loved one here but if you have to go somewhere like this please go to Aura.

Jonathan operated on my beloved Bichon Frise, successfully removing a part of his liver that had cancer cells. The fees are higher than other specialists, but the waiting time for a consultation certainly made up for it. Having initially been referred somewhere else where the waiting list for a consultation was 4 weeks, I sought Aura, who were able to see my dog the same week. His recovery has been tremendous, and the twice daily calls whilst he was an inpatient showed they truly care for both the dogs and the owners. Follow-up calls were also much appreciated, I never once felt like my dog and I were just another number. Would highly recommend!

Aura treated my 2yo cat’s badly infected (bitten) tail, which the local vet said should be amputated. Aura took great care of her and did an excellent job - she was healed and back climbing trees in no time. I only wish I’d asked for a referral there much, much sooner. Also very pleased with PetPlan for paying the bills with very minimal fuss.

i can not speak more highly of the service & care received from Rowly House Vets on the 26/9/24. My Betty had ripped her claw out and was in a great amount of pain and discomfort but Rowlys managed to not only fit us in for an assessment but carried out the required procedure that very morning! Our Vet Hollie was lovely and Great with Betty who can be a touch Nervous at the Vets. Superb customer experience and i have now found a new local Vet. Thank you.

If I was my dog this is where I would choose to go! The staff are lovely - the receptionists are warm and welcoming and the vets and nurses are really amazing - they listen and attend to both the patient and the owner. I have found that they always give options and are understanding - there is no pressure. Their response to my calls is always prompt and my last visit was for a nail torn almost out - they were very caring and after taking it out, wrapped it all up. They also trimmed his other nails.

I've been bringing my black Labrador, Felix, to Kriek and Gibson Veterinary Surgery for the past two years, and my wife and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the care he has received. Myself and my partner recently lost our first fur baby, Rodney the hamster. Kriek and Gibson have been nothing short of amazing throughout the entire process, treating all of us, including Rodney, with immeasurable respect and sensitivity. I was referred to this vet by my daughter my British bull dog had cherry eye took him there also had my staff with me the vet did my bull dogs eye and checked my staff over and he had a yeast infection which he also helped with, the care and price was great, also the price was half what pets at home wanted to charge me thank you so much

I cannot express my thanks enough to ALL the staff at GVG for the empathy and compassion shown to me in the final few days of my cat Max’s life, but also for the thoughtful words in the card sent to me after his passing and for the 4 paw prints from Max that were enclosed. Max, a small but mighty cat pictured here with his best friend Murphy, enjoyed 17 years of life and his final few hours couldn’t have been handled any better than they were by the professionals involved. I always recommend Portland Vets to anyone looking for a Vet. We always get fast appointments and great care every time we go. Today we came in for an emergency, less than ten minutes from our call we were in to see a vet for our cat who had gone into sudden heart failure and was having an episode. We had many updates from Portland while he was in their care throughout the day. His condition is very sad, but he’s back home and doing much better thanks to Portland Vets and we trust them to help us care for him whatever happens.
