To Have & To Hire did our decoration for our 2 day wedding at Buxted Park Hotel and East Sussex National. They did such an amazing job on both days to help our vision come to life, but what impressed us the most, was our multicultural wedding for the second day. We were wanting a traditional Asian set-up and specifically after a “Mandap” which they had never done before. The Mandap looked incredible and was exactly what we wanted. It wowed all the guests and the centrepieces looked incredible too with some people thinking that the flowers were real! A massive thank you to Sara, Michelle and the team for being the best, super helpful and very communicative throughout the whole process. It helped to make planning a 2-day wedding seamless.

We were recommended by upwaltham barns (our chosen venue) to use to have and to hire. We are so glad we did! Everything turned out perfectly. I had my wedding on 31st October 2024 so wanted to go with the autumnal theme with a few pumpkins added. They did not disappoint, everything was beautiful. I certainly wouldn’t have been able to do this myself, they captured my vision perfectly throughout the whole venue. Thank you very much for helping to make our day perfect!❤️

To have & to hire were recommended suppliers via our wedding venue, I cannot express how happy I am we used them! They took my vision and made it come to life, I can’t even put in to words how stunning the barn looked. It actually took my breath away when I got to the aisle at how amazing it all looked. I have had so many comments from guests about how stunning the barn looked and whether the flowers were real or not! They took so much stress away from someone who likes to be in control 😆 I got to the venue at 9am and they were already up on ladders installing the foliage! Me and my partner got married on the 17th of July at the beautiful Brookfield Barn venue. As soon as we booked in our date I booked us in for a meeting with the lovely team at To Have and To Hire. From start to finish we had the best experience. Everyone I spoke to was super friendly and helpful, answering any questions I had and helping us to make the best decisions with the vision we had in mind. On the big day, the entire team put my mind at ease with their super fast set up but with an extreme attention to detail! Not only did they perfect our vision perfectly, but they even allowed us to use some of their spare faux flowers to decorate my own sweet cart so that it would tie in with the rest of the flower arrangements on our tables! Our guests complemented every inch of the styling, from the beautiful faux flowers that lined our aisle, to the mixture of high and low centre pieces which allowed people to speak freely and easily around the room. The team even ensured that the chair sashes and table runners matched my colour scheme perfectly! The team created some real statement pieces, these being the utterly jaw dropping faux flower wisteria ceiling with matching wisteria trees, creating a stunning fairytale feel to the barn, and the lovely memorial ladder complete with Bay tree and candles for all our beloved family members who could not be with us. All these things, combined with the cake hoop, the unique table plan and the welcome sign, all with matching florals, tied everything together beautifully and made for a truly magical wedding day and we can't thank To Have and To Hire enough for that, we are forever grateful. From the moment Precious from Green Lily Events responded to my enquiry, I knew she was going to be a joy to work with and as much of a perfectionist as I am! Having meticulously planned most of my wedding, I was looking for someone I could trust to hand everything over to for on the day support. However, Precious went above and beyond my expectations and helped me through the last minute decisions and styling details that I hadn't thought of, being so generous with her time. Whilst I thought I was pretty good at the detail, Precious is brilliant at perfecting every aspect, and maximising the use of all the elements - from moving our guest book to optimal locations throughout, and helping us save some money by using furniture for multiple purposes. Precious is such a bubbly and warm character, who became an extension of our family on the day and in my Dad's words, "was worth every penny and more!". We hired lots of Ella’s items to bring our wedding vision to life and also asked her to coordinate our day at Grittenham Barn. We always say it’s the best money we spent, she set various items up for us, most notably the ceremony area, took a lovely video of everything that I cherish. We weren’t sure our venue would coordinate and didn’t think our best men and bridesmaids would do it so using Ella was just dreamy. She made everything perfect.

We used Surrey events hire for our wedding, Steve was the DJ along with his colleague and also provided the photo booth. The team was fabulous throughout, Steve played our pre arranged song requests as well as songs that he thought would be most appropriate and we were not disappointed! Our guests are still commenting on how good the DJ was and the songs that were played, they loved it! Steve provided the music, lights and a photo mirror for a large black tie family event for us recently. He was 100% professional, delivered everything we ordered, on time to a fantastic standard. We had an age range 15-65 to celebrate an 18th birthday... the music was spot on - dancing all night with out cheesy call outs or encouragement. He seems to be able to read the room and just know what's right. As well this Steve helped out when there was an unexpected hiccup for another supplier - he mucked in, no fuss, no drama. we will definitely use Steve again and can't recommend highly enough. Thank you for making an important family occasion so memorable.

AMAZING! Steve provided beautiful draping and an incredible mirror ball for our wedding at Hampton Court House on 28th July and we were blown away! Despite it being quite a tricky job with lots of existing lights Steve made it look absolutely beautiful and I was blown away when we first saw it all! All our guests commented on how stunning it looked

Full dance floor all night!! Guests ranging from 24 years old to 78 years old and everyone was dancing all night! Steve did a fab job to keep the party flowing from the first dance to the last. We gave him a huge task with such a variety of music, including songs that aren’t everyone’s taste and he made everything flow perfectly building up to certain genres. I want another wedding just for the dancing!! Would highly recommend! X

The 5 stars are all for the wonderful Eve! I honestly can't say enough good things about her — she was absolutely invaluable throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the very beginning, Eve was incredibly supportive, always there to offer guidance and keep me on track. She even helped me pull off a huge surprise for my husband, which was no small feat! On the big day, Eve made sure everything ran smoothly. She was constantly running around, keeping everything organized and handling any hiccups with such calm and grace. And even when the waiters (who were honestly a bit of a disaster — my fault, not Eve’s) needed help, she jumped right in to make sure things didn’t fall apart. If I were ever to plan a wedding again (though I really hope I don’t have to!), there’s no doubt that I would want Eve on my team. She truly made the day unforgettable and took so much stress off my shoulders. I couldn’t have done it without her!

The level of service was superb from Karianne and Catherine from start to finish; from the travel arrangements, quality equipment hire, amazing accommodation, delicious food and drink and all the venue choices - it was all first class! Their flawless delivery and service meant the event ran so smoothly and meant for unforgettable experience for us and our guests!

We had a wonderful wedding celebration at Bespoke at Littleton Manor Farm last month. The setting is unique and beautiful, and really made an impression on our guests. Karianne worked with us from the beginning to bring our vision to life. The event came together in a way that felt authentic to us, and went off without a hitch. It's a lot of work planning an event with such a blank canvas, but the end result came out better than we could have imagined.

Our wedding last year was amazing, in no small part due to the hard work and excellent organisation from Eve and the team at Bespoke Events Management. With so much to plan and coordinate, it was such a stress-relief to have our scheduled catch ups, planning advice their ability to sort out those annoying tricky issues that always come up. We had decided on a Marquee and Hog Roast, with Glamping for guests staying overnight, and Bespoke made it straight forward and easy to see the options, offer advice on sourcing and price, and get all the details exactly as we wanted. During the wedding day, Eve was on hand throughout to make sure everything was running smoothly, wrangling with surly caterers and giving us a fantastic start to our married life! Blue Circle events was outstanding for a 3 day 50th birthday weekend. Harry and his team went above and beyond MULTIPLE times for our group, even the smallest requests. The communication, patience, and professionalism was unmatched. We look forward to utilizing them again for years to come.

The best decision we made at our wedding was to host it at Hoath House. The house was absolutely amazing but the main reason that Hoath house was the perfect venue is because of Harry. He was a dream to work with, and we feel so lucky that he is the coordinator of such an amazing venue! Harry was with us every step of the way of the planning process, and his event expertise allowed us to really get the most out of our celebration. He helped us to bring the vision to life by offering advice about the flow of people, the food and drink service and the general logistics of hosting a wedding. Whenever we had questions for him he was happy to hop on a call and give guidance, and he maintained a calm, professional and kind demeanour throughout the whole process. On top of all of that, he is just a really great guy. He took the stress out of planning the wedding, because he was so incredibly knowledgable and supportive of our plans! He really listened to and understood our vision and he helped to bring it to life. All of the vendors he recommended were fantastic, and we feel so lucky to have had him involved in our big day. Simply the best! We used Mirage Parties to organise our daughter's wedding and they were outstanding. Their attention to detail, creativity, expertise and overall ease to work with were fantastic. Mirage organised a fantastic triple 21st birthday party for us. They were very professional from initial planning, six month prior, through to post party clear up. Their experience and attention to detail was invaluable. The combination of a great venue, delicious food, a fab DJ, and those professional cocktail barmen made the party very special indeed!

"Best 18th ever!!" Mirage were superb. They organised an amazing nightclub in our garden which exceeded all expectations. Everyone is still talking about it weeks later. The marquee was unbelievable; just stunning, the food was excellent, cocktails delicious (Woo Woo is everyone's new favourite cocktail, even the boys!), the staff were so nice and DJ Scott kept the dance floor full the whole evening. Faultless organisation from start to finish and birthday girl is left with amazing memories of an unforgettable night. She is still smiling! Thank you so much, Mirage.

We booked Freya for our second wedding celebration, which took place at Botleys Mansion in Chertsey, Surrey in June 2023. Freya provided partial wedding planning services from approx. 6 months prior to our wedding (at which point I was still busily planning our first wedding that was due to take place in March 2023 in Los Angeles, so was sometimes slow to reply but Freya remained patient & understanding & continued to stay on top of everything that was required at that stage), and also produced a design brief based on detailed vision I provided, along with my Pinterest boards. Freya was detailed throughout the planning process and was always so pleasant to deal with. Our Zoom calls were always productive & I felt like Freya really understood everything I explained & she was patient and passionate. One the day of our wedding, Freya had an assistant. We're most glad that we also hired Freya to sing my processional song for the ceremony - we truly were SO glad we did. Not only did Freya sound absolutely amazing, she absolutely looked the part. She ensured she was dressed according to the aesthetics of our wedding & was fully self-sufficient in setting up her own PA system. We cannot recommend Freya highly enough. We would not have had the wedding of our dreams without her and the assistance of her partner Danny. We had a firm vision for our Christmas wedding and were very hands-on leading up to the big day. However, we wanted to be able to enjoy the day itself without worrying about the logistics and so booked Freya's "The Month Of Coordination Package". Thank goodness that we did! Not only did she expertly provide the services that we expected but she far exceeded our expectations in ways that we did not even know that we needed. From the first moment that Freya got involved, we knew that we were in safe hands. She was a dream to work with, quick to understand our vision and displayed the professionalism, flexibility and attention to detail that allowed us to have full confidence in her. She is an exceptional communicator, with the rare quality of a warm and friendly style whilst still being able to be firm when needed to get the job done. She is a very effective, highly organised operator as demonstrated by her dealings with our venue and vendors. All were highly complimentary about her. On the day itself, we had a complicated Christmas set-up including 9 large Christmas trees that needed placing into stands, a huge number of candelabras, candles, fairy lights, garland and wreaths in addition to other traditional wedding decor. Having not organized an event of this size before ourselves, we underestimated the effort that it would take to pull it off. There is no way that it could have happened to the quality that it did without Freya and Danny. Not only did they work very hard to make it all happen, they did so in a way that was entirely invisible to ourselves and the wedding guests. It was magical for everyone to experience the end result, exactly as we had dreamed of it, as if it had been effortlessly materialized by Christmas wedding elves. We especially appreciated Freya's attention to detail. Even during the Herculaneum task of the set-up, she cared enough about the small details to make time for them which made all the difference for us. Wedding - May 2024. Freya worked with us on our wedding for over 18 months. She created our mood board, and then we used her a month of coordination service. Communication was great, and execution was 10/10 As a perfectionist, and also working in corporate events myself, it was never going to be easy to hand the reigns over to someone else, however Freya made me feel confident that i could. Letting me manage as much or as little as i needed to, but also running oversight over everything to ensure nothing was missed. Friendly, approachable and understanding, Freya just made the whole wedding planning experience smooth. Always on hand to help/ advise should I need it. All suppliers have given great feedback on Freya and even with the Rain changing our wedding vision and plans only 4 hours before the ceremony, Freya managed to give us the execution of our wedding day as close to our vision as we could get. on hand to be my eyes and ears on the day, and on top of everything as and when it happened - including repairing my ripped wedding dress! I cannot tell you just how important it was to have the Team on the day, so we could really be present and enjoy our special day with our loved ones! Freya is a phenomenal Wedding Planner. I had the pleasure of working with Freya at Karina & Mat's wedding this summer as a Photographer, and she was super professional, friendly, approachable and the whole wedding went by amazingly. Freya has a wonderful way of putting people at ease, ensuring that the clients' wishes are met and exceeded, all with a calm nature and big smile. I always go to this shop for my kids birthday balloons! Their balloons last for ages! (literally, I end up having to pop them after a month as they're still bobbing around my house!). They have a great variety of not only balloons but cards, decorations, fancy dress, party bag gifts, bouncy castle hire... the list is endless! If they haven't got something you'll be guaranteed they'll know where to get it! I'm lucky to have this shop in the same village I live in, but even if they weren't I'd happily travel! Parking is really easy and staff really friendly! Highly recommend!

I've used event planners several times before for balloons. Most recently last Saturday for my sons 4th birthday. Large blue 4 helium balloon and several clusters of multi coloured latex helium. Staff understood straight away what I wanted. Arrived at venue on time , very efficient, very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Excellent service, definitely recommend 👌👍🏼
