We hired Surrey Hills Venues & Events to organise our engagement party. This was the first time we had ever used an event planner and we found the whole experience relaxing and fun. Sacha was so friendly and welcoming and understood exactly what we wanted, giving us some amazing ideas that we hadn't even thought of. From the moment I met Jayne I knew she was the women to create our flower dream. As a flower lover, who also decided to get married in a historic garden Jayne had a big challenge, but she created something more beautiful than we could have ever have dreamed. Hi. We met Jayne and Rozana at an open event at our venue Stanlake Park wine estate. They immediately put us ar ease with their approach and style and had some lovely options on display for the tables - one of which we based our wedding on. When we decided to go ahead we had a zoom call and many email exchanges and phone calls re requirements. Jayne also came up to meet us at our venue to go through things in more detail. This included suggestions, designs, last minute additions plus advice and contacts what to do with our amazing flowers afterwards. When I saw the flowers on the wedding morning I was blown away - simply gorgeous. They highlighted and complimented our theme perfectly. We had a few displays which Jayne and Rozana moved between the ceremony and reception including a stunning arch. Everything was perfect. We couldn't have been more delighted with our wedding flowers from Bird Events. Jayne was completely wonderful throughout the whole process - patient, professional, warm and supportive. She was so easy to work with and completely captured the style and feel we wanted, right down to the details. All the communications I had from Jayne were really clear and gave me complete confidence. We cannot recommend Freya highly enough. We would not have had the wedding of our dreams without her and the assistance of her partner Danny. We had a firm vision for our Christmas wedding and were very hands-on leading up to the big day. However, we wanted to be able to enjoy the day itself without worrying about the logistics and so booked Freya's "The Month Of Coordination Package". Thank goodness that we did! Not only did she expertly provide the services that we expected but she far exceeded our expectations in ways that we did not even know that we needed. From the first moment that Freya got involved, we knew that we were in safe hands. She was a dream to work with, quick to understand our vision and displayed the professionalism, flexibility and attention to detail that allowed us to have full confidence in her. She is an exceptional communicator, with the rare quality of a warm and friendly style whilst still being able to be firm when needed to get the job done. She is a very effective, highly organised operator as demonstrated by her dealings with our venue and vendors. All were highly complimentary about her. On the day itself, we had a complicated Christmas set-up including 9 large Christmas trees that needed placing into stands, a huge number of candelabras, candles, fairy lights, garland and wreaths in addition to other traditional wedding decor. Having not organized an event of this size before ourselves, we underestimated the effort that it would take to pull it off. There is no way that it could have happened to the quality that it did without Freya and Danny. Not only did they work very hard to make it all happen, they did so in a way that was entirely invisible to ourselves and the wedding guests. It was magical for everyone to experience the end result, exactly as we had dreamed of it, as if it had been effortlessly materialized by Christmas wedding elves. We especially appreciated Freya's attention to detail. Even during the Herculaneum task of the set-up, she cared enough about the small details to make time for them which made all the difference for us. Wedding - May 2024. Freya worked with us on our wedding for over 18 months. She created our mood board, and then we used her a month of coordination service. Communication was great, and execution was 10/10 As a perfectionist, and also working in corporate events myself, it was never going to be easy to hand the reigns over to someone else, however Freya made me feel confident that i could. Letting me manage as much or as little as i needed to, but also running oversight over everything to ensure nothing was missed. Friendly, approachable and understanding, Freya just made the whole wedding planning experience smooth. Always on hand to help/ advise should I need it. All suppliers have given great feedback on Freya and even with the Rain changing our wedding vision and plans only 4 hours before the ceremony, Freya managed to give us the execution of our wedding day as close to our vision as we could get. on hand to be my eyes and ears on the day, and on top of everything as and when it happened - including repairing my ripped wedding dress! I cannot tell you just how important it was to have the Team on the day, so we could really be present and enjoy our special day with our loved ones! We initially reached out to Green Lily to discuss styling and décor for our wedding, but after meeting Precious, we quickly realised we needed more! After talking through the services, we decided to go for two-week-before coordination, on-the-day coordination, and full styling—and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the moment we met Precious, she just got me. She understood exactly what I wanted and also completely understood my now-husband (who only cared about beer pong and making sure everyone behaved). I felt so listened to—no idea was too small or silly, and Precious always provided thoughtful advice on what would or wouldn’t work. She struck the perfect balance between letting me feel in control and giving me the space to relax. On the day (and during setup the day before), the professionalism of Precious and Sean was truly unmatched. Steve provided the music, lights and a photo mirror for a large black tie family event for us recently. He was 100% professional, delivered everything we ordered, on time to a fantastic standard. We had an age range 15-65 to celebrate an 18th birthday... the music was spot on - dancing all night with out cheesy call outs or encouragement. He seems to be able to read the room and just know what's right. As well this Steve helped out when there was an unexpected hiccup for another supplier - he mucked in, no fuss, no drama. we will definitely use Steve again and can't recommend highly enough. Thank you for making an important family occasion so memorable.

We used Surrey events hire for our wedding, Steve was the DJ along with his colleague and also provided the photo booth. The team was fabulous throughout, Steve played our pre arranged song requests as well as songs that he thought would be most appropriate and we were not disappointed! Our guests are still commenting on how good the DJ was and the songs that were played, they loved it! Surrey Event Services recently provided a fantastic DJ - Jeremy, for our wedding reception. He mixed the tracks seamlessly and we all spent hours happily dancing the night away! He was a lovely guy and set up and tided away very quickly and professionally.

Full dance floor all night!! Guests ranging from 24 years old to 78 years old and everyone was dancing all night! Steve did a fab job to keep the party flowing from the first dance to the last. We gave him a huge task with such a variety of music, including songs that aren’t everyone’s taste and he made everything flow perfectly building up to certain genres. I want another wedding just for the dancing!! Would highly recommend! X

We hired Helen for our on the day coordinator for our wedding and could not have made a better decision! From the initial site visit, we could tell Helen was competent and experienced from the questions she was asking and she helped us think of things we wouldn't have otherwise. She coordinated all of the glass hire which was so helpful, and also brought lots of things for use at the wedding which helped both logistically and financially, like all of the water jugs for the tables. On the day, Helen and her staff worked extremely hard and followed all my sometimes detailed, sometimes vague, instructions. They did everything from reception drinks, lighting candles, replenishing bottles on tables, cutting and distributing cake, running the evening bar, dealing with toilet emergencies (!), coordinating with the band, and most importantly cleaning up, really well. She even made sure my and my husband's waters were always topped up and we got the cake flavour we wanted! Where she had to take initiative due to vague instructions, she did easily with no fuss, and the whole day ran very smoothly thanks to her. We also had her help for the brunch the next day where she was an absolute godsend, setting up a brunch for 50 people with just one other person. We genuinely would have struggled without her on both days. Our guests also specifically commented on how great the staff were. I highly, highly recommend to any brides (or anyone running an event) looking for help in the lead up or especially on the day of the wedding. I didn't think I needed anyone initially, and I was wrong! Hire Helen!

What can I say except 'We could not have done it without Helen'!! When arranging our wedding ourselves (a garden party on our friends farm) I really needed someone the take charge of the day and Helen did not disappoint. From the beginning she was responsive, helped me find suppliers and provided invaluable advice! The day itself was a dream, EVERYTHING was looked after from decorations, keeping the bar stocked, serving drinks and food and just making sure everything ran smoothly! We had the best day. We couldn’t recommend Helen highly enough. Every step of the way Helen was supportive and guided us through the whole process. After every phone call she put me at ease and I felt a sigh of relief that everything was going in the right direction. The day before our wedding, Helen met us at the venue to do a handover and from that point onwards I was able to totally relax and enjoy this special time with my husband-to-be and all of our family and friends knowing our day was in the safe hands of Helen. The day of the wedding ran so smoothly. There was some confusion about the tableware which was organised by myself, however superwomen Helen took control of the situation and managed to source everything we needed the day of (with a little help from her lovely husband who was the delivery man!). I would not have known anything what had happened BTS until after the wedding, for this we are so grateful. We had the best weekend of our lives and this wouldn’t have been possible without Helen, thank you for everything!

Lucia is absolutely incredible! We got married in July 2023 and Lucia was absolutely amazing! We initially approached Lucia for event styling, wanting to bring cohesion to our vision for a beautiful wedding at the Corinthia London. We struggled to find any inspiration pictures for what we wanted as it didn’t exist. Lucia offered both simple ideas and more extravagant options to bring cohesion without pressuring us. Her expertise extended beyond design elements to enhancing our guests’ experience, suggesting unique ideas we hadn’t considered. Both of us were quite time poor so it was a relief to know there was someone looking after these things! The day before the wedding my mother had an unexpected injury. Unsure of how serious it was, I contacted Lucia first. Within three hours of scheduled departure we had two ambulances at the house. Lucia stayed in contact as we traveled to the venue with all luggage. We put Lucia in contact with my Dad in the hopes my parents would be able to travel to the venue later. Lucia researched transport options and arranged for them to join us once mum was released from the hospital. Not as easy as it sounds when you live in Kent, the wedding is in London, and your parents are at a hospital in a location you don’t even know. This was above and beyond her duties but it truly speaks to her caring nature. I will never forget how Lucia kept it together for us on that day. Many guests called it the best wedding they’d ever attended, largely thanks to Lucia’s seamless coordination with her suppliers. On the day she was in her element. She ensured everything ran like clockwork, creating a truly phenomenal and unforgettable event. Lucia, thank you for your dedication, late nights, and guidance in making our wedding day one to remember!

Not sure even where to begin with how incredible Lucia is - from listening to my random selection of ideas and Pinterest photos on our first call to turning that into a beautiful, modern, sophisticated vision which was more amazing than we could have ever imagined. At every meeting my husband and I walked away saying “Lucia is the best decision we made.” Beyond the amazing design, Lucia’s organisation, planning and delivery of our day and the management of the collection of suppliers (I also was so happy with every supplier she recommended personally) made the whole experience completely stress free and I know we wouldn’t have enjoyed our wedding as much as we did if we hadn’t had such a trusted and excellent planner. Our guests and family also commented on excellent she was. Lucia’s attention to detail is incredible - there was no detail that she hadn’t considered or wasn’t on top of and it really showed. If you want a beautifully designed and stress-free wedding day you need to have Lucia involved. She is the best decision we made!

We hired lots of Ella’s items to bring our wedding vision to life and also asked her to coordinate our day at Grittenham Barn. We always say it’s the best money we spent, she set various items up for us, most notably the ceremony area, took a lovely video of everything that I cherish. We weren’t sure our venue would coordinate and didn’t think our best men and bridesmaids would do it so using Ella was just dreamy. She made everything perfect.

We booked Ella for both decor and on-the-day coordination at our wedding at Northbrook Park and we could not have been happier! She was absolutely brilliant through the whole process, accommodating our ever-changing ideas and helping us to source a few things that she didn’t stock. We met at her studio to choose decor and she really helped us to imagine how it might look on the day, making really good suggestions aligned to our style preferences. In the last few weeks before the wedding we met at the venue to do a full run-through of the day, which really helped to bring it to life in our minds. It was one of our favourite parts of the planning process. On the day, Ella did an amazing job of setting everything up so beautifully (I can’t believe she can do so much on her own!), remembering every tiny detail and making some last minute decisions where needed. The day ran so smoothly and that is entirely down to Ella’s organisation. She was on top of everything, keeping the day to schedule and letting us relax and enjoy it. We initially thought that we’d be able to manage without a coordinator but looking back we don’t know what we’d have done without Ella; we cannot recommend booking her enough.

I've used event planners several times before for balloons. Most recently last Saturday for my sons 4th birthday. Large blue 4 helium balloon and several clusters of multi coloured latex helium. Staff understood straight away what I wanted. Arrived at venue on time , very efficient, very friendly, nothing too much trouble. Excellent service, definitely recommend 👌👍🏼

Great service and great quality. These balloons were bought on 30April for my sons birthday on the Sunday. Picture 1 taken on the Sunday so 1 day old. Picture 2 taken today 29.5 and still going strong!!!!

I always go to this shop for my kids birthday balloons! Their balloons last for ages! (literally, I end up having to pop them after a month as they're still bobbing around my house!). They have a great variety of not only balloons but cards, decorations, fancy dress, party bag gifts, bouncy castle hire... the list is endless! If they haven't got something you'll be guaranteed they'll know where to get it! I'm lucky to have this shop in the same village I live in, but even if they weren't I'd happily travel! Parking is really easy and staff really friendly! Highly recommend!

A big thank you to Paul and Danielle. My daughter had her baby shower earlier this year and in typical form, she does not follow tradition. In this I mean that she is having a baby boy but she has not decorated the nursery in blue and nor did she want much of anything in blue moving forward. This set us a challenge for the baby shower. Her color theme is sage green, mustard yellow and burnt orange. Her best friend and I visited the shop a few weeks ago and Danielle was very helpful and came up with the nearest options they had available during these difficult times of stock shortages they are experiencing, they were almost spot on. We also came away with some cute green baby shower napkins for the cupcakes. We were offered a cup of tea by Paul whilst we had the discussion and were shown various examples and options. On collection last Friday, Paul was very helpful in getting them into the car and sending me on my way with advice on how to store them to ensure they would be at their best for the Sunday.
