My daughter benefitted so much from Yasmin’s tutoring throughout Year 10 and 11. Yasmin was thorough and patient. She provided practice papers and tips which really supported her understanding and learning, and helped her achieve outstanding GCSE results with Yasmin’s support. My son joined STS tutoring February of Year 5 after finding his old tutor was unable to work positively with him. I called Yasmin fairly worried that my son would be changing tutors so late in the 11plus journey. She was incredibly supportive and set a date to trial him and see how much he knew. Our daughter passed the Grammar school exam under Yasmin’s guidance. Yasmin was very thorough with her style. We also found out that in person teaching was highly beneficial. I cannot recommend Shine Tutors highly enough. My son started attending sessions with Lynnette in year 4, which ultimately helped him receive offers from both Tiffin School and Kingston Grammar School. The tuition and guidance received from Lynnette was invaluable to achieving this. Her sessions both supported and stretched my son academically but also gave him the knowledge and confidence needed for the entrance exams. Lynnette also provides lots of information to parents to help guide them through the school entrance exams process.

My son has been offered a place at Tiffin and whilst he is a bright child we know that that isn’t enough to be successful in these exams, especially coming from a state primary school. Shine Tutors provided a structured and thorough programme of work and practice for these exams, with Lynnette’s long experience of the requirements for different schools and high expectations for both children and parents on the commitment and standards needed and we know we made the right choice for our son.

Bilal is literally a miracle science tutor. My daughter had spent several months with another tutor who let her down and I then came across Bilal. Bilal is an excellent science teacher. He has a relax teaching approach but very effective. He is flexible with class timings to support my son who has 6 days school. He works around my son’s style of learning and my son (year 10) has been getting good scores across all sciences in school exams. Champion's Tuition is good. Mr. Anpu is a fantastic tutor who is working hard with the kids. My son had done well in 11+ exams confidently. After visiting several 11+ tutors in the area, we came across Champions Tuition. After a short introduction which included their business aims and their teaching methods, we decided to go with them. Best decision ever. With their coaching and teaching methods, my son's confidence grew and he was able to sit his 11+ with confidence in his abilities. Whilst he missed out on a Grammer place by less than 12 marks, he is in a mainstream school, in the top set and is working at a level set for year 10/11 students despite being in year 7.
