Although some of the courses may seem bit daunting at first, it's honestly a very relaxing and fun course. With top quality resources and examples coupled with the optimism and nonchalance of the tutor, you can really learn a lot in this place. Would highly recommend (especially for science).

I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. All-over, I'm so happy with the tuition provider.

Having decided we would like the help of a tutor for our daughter for her GCSEs we were a little lost, but thankfully found Tahir! He is a lovely, calm and patient tutor who on a 1 to 1 basis was excellent our daughter. Without him she would have never gone from a grade 3 to a grade 6, we would highly recommend him to anybody in need of a maths or science tutor! Mr and Mrs Stone

James helped with maths to my sister nice and clear so she could understand. Tremendous help with short notice and wajeeha was very friendly which made it very easy to arrange the sessions.

Karen was a wonderful tutor for our son Edward during an emergency period of EOTAS. She really met him where he was with different elements of his learning and helped start to address the very significant gaps arising from the poor educational standard at his previous SEN school, slowly building his confidence and self-belief. Her gentle but determined style helped him start his recovery from a period of school trauma and help ease his anxiety. Karen adapted her approach to suit, motivate and inspire him. Mrs Catherine is the best and fantastic teacher for little kids who like to play. She structures her lessons in such way that the kids feel like they move from one game to another. A few weeks later they can read and count with great confidence they didn't have before. If you are lucky and get a place in Mrs Catherine's diary, make sure to hold your child's hand firmly on your way to Mrs Catherine - the kids usually run full speed towards her house in anticipation of a great fun lesson. 😀

I can’t recommend Catherine more! Within weeks, I could see how much my daughter’s confidence has grown. She has advanced quite quickly with her reading, no more tears trying to read more than 4 letter words. She now loves reading and trying out new words. Catherine is engaging, patient and makes reading fun and enjoyable.

Never a five-star review has been more well deserved than this one for Mark at Guildford Tuition. My 10 year old daughter has just been offered a place for Year 7 at one of the top schools for girls in Surrey. This would not have been possible without the incredible work Mark has done with her over the past year. Not only she has passed the 11+ entrance exams, but also with excellent results and a very positive feedback from the School. From his fun (but rigorous) approach to learning, to his superb strategising and bespoke support to ensure she confidently and successfully sat the entrance exams. Past the exams, she will continue learning and growing her skills with Mark. I cannot recommend Mark more to any parent who is committed to their children's education and future success. David has supported both my children individually in maths over many years, my son from yr7-11 and my daughter subsequently from year 4, who is now in year 10. He has been fantastic! My son said David was “Very good at structural revision. Good at teaching step by step and also pushes you to achieve the best you can.” He managed to encourage my son to realise how he could do really well in the higher maths GCSE and in fact he achieved a grade6 which for a dyslexic was fantastic! My daughter says “David is really good at letting you learn the way that suits you rather than forcing you to do maths a particular way”. She’s determined now she has the confidence in herself, to also take the higher paper. As a parent I feel relaxed that David will support my child for long term achievement. They’ve always liked the way he uses the iPad so they can write on the screen and he sets useful homework to practice what they learn each week, if you want that. We are really happy with David’s support.

David is a fantastic maths tutor. He tutored both my children and helped them get the grades they needed for studying their chosen subjects at college. He made sure they understood all the basics before moving on to more complex concepts and always explained everything very clearly. He is very patient, supportive and encouraging. I was the first child David ever tutored, I cannot express the gratitude I have for this man. Not only did he figure out how my brain worked and tailor our lessons to help me grasps concepts, breaking things down in ways I could understand, he also helped figure out how to motivate me. He came each week with determination, patience and empathy. I would not have become a Leeds university graduate without his tutoring. I couldn't recommend anyone more, you won't find anyone as good at tailoring to individual educational and emotional needs.

My son was tutored by Gemma in advance of his GCSE Spanish. She is excellent at ensuring that he kept a focus on what examiners are after and built his capability and confidence on the spoken side of the language. He certainly found Gemma very helpful and asked for some additional lessons in advance of his exams. I’d definitely recommend Gemma, and will be using her to help support my daughter in her French GCSE.
