Karen was a wonderful tutor for our son Edward during an emergency period of EOTAS. She really met him where he was with different elements of his learning and helped start to address the very significant gaps arising from the poor educational standard at his previous SEN school, slowly building his confidence and self-belief. Her gentle but determined style helped him start his recovery from a period of school trauma and help ease his anxiety. Karen adapted her approach to suit, motivate and inspire him. We are very grateful for her thoughtful, diligent and patient work with him, the impact of her skilled teaching on him is clear. We all miss her and wish her all the very best for the future.

Yasmin has been an incredible tutor through both my 11+ and GCSE examinations. She has provided invaluable resources (such as past papers, worksheets, predicted papers and more) and has never hesitated to explain a concept I struggled with understanding. She has always challenged my abilities and pushed me to do better when I make silly mistakes! My son joined STS tutoring February of Year 5 after finding his old tutor was unable to work positively with him. I called Yasmin fairly worried that my son would be changing tutors so late in the 11plus journey. She was incredibly supportive and set a date to trial him and see how much he knew. Straight away she told me he was doing so well and he was definitely on the right track. Each week from then on, Yasmin was nothing but kind and positive about his learning. When I had a worry, she took the time to give me reassurance and even ideas of how to improve certain areas of learning. She kept up with last minute changes in the exam criteria and made sure my son had the up to date papers to work from, something other tutors in the area didn’t do. She tailored the work for his weaknesses and went above and beyond to help him feel confident. She also was truthful when she felt he could improve his learning or even his attitude towards the work in any way. My son has a place at Sutton Grammar starting in September 2024 and couldn’t be happier. My younger son will be starting with Yasmin when his journey starts. Yasmin is dedicated, kind and so personal, perfect for our family.

Our daughter passed the Grammar school exam under Yasmin’s guidance. Yasmin was very thorough with her style. We also found out that in person teaching was highly beneficial. Yesterday was the GCSE results day, a very happy day for us! We have approached Sarah back in May 2023 when we desperately needed help for my daughter to improve her grades. Sarah is a great teacher. My girls have shown great improvement with her. With the regular home work scheme, students get good grip on the concepts. It also keeps parents involved with the child's activity and learning progress.I feel satisfied about the learning growth of my girls as they are going to Sarah. I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. All-over, I'm so happy with the tuition provider.

Having decided we would like the help of a tutor for our daughter for her GCSEs we were a little lost, but thankfully found Tahir! He is a lovely, calm and patient tutor who on a 1 to 1 basis was excellent our daughter. My son, who is 4 years old, has been attending French lessons with Bénédicte. He very much enjoys the sessions and cannot wait for his next lesson! Mia taught my child Sophie when she needed extra help after school. Sophie really enjoyed and looked forward to the sessions and developed a great relationship with Mia. The sessions were great fun and planned around Sophie’s favourite characters which really helped engage her. It was fantastic to see how quickly Sophie gained confidence in herself and her work . Mia kept me well informed about Sophie’s progress and gave me ways I could help her more at home too. I would highly recommend Mia to help any child.
