Just had my EICR done by Tom at Efficient Electrics and I’m super satisfied. Tom was professional from the start and the inspection was done thoroughly & with care. Tom is a lovely guy with years of experience in electrical installation, & needless to say, very “efficient” 😂 I’ll definitely be booking him in again for any future electrical needs

Tom came over after we had a problem with the lights upstairs. He quickly diagnosed the problem and went off, bought replacement fittings including a new light fixture and pull switch and installed everything in less than hour. We have known Michael for many years. He is very professional, dedicated and hard working. No challenge is too big for Michael - he has sorted our garden lights problems, despite a very wet environment and many faulty parts, saving us the need to replace the system at an enormous cost. I highly recommend Michael!

It's a rare occurrence these days to find excellent service and expertise. So it's with a great deal of enthusiasm that I can actually say that Michael from Ambient Electrical Services displays both of those qualities and so much more. He recently fitted two electrical units for me, he responded incredibly quickly to my initial enquiry and fitted me into his already very busy schedule. Lewis is good value and works relatively quickly. The garage board he put in does the job and the consumer unit now better protects the house. His wiring is tidy and everything looks to be terminated well. It's a shame that he was unable to entirely fix the issue with the downstairs sockets. As it stands I have had to pull the end of a TWE wire out of a socket in order to get everything to work, which is a bit scary but I'm pretty sure it isn't live. If it's putting something in for the first time or sorting a problem you already understand, Lewis is an excellent choice.

Amazing service! I had a really heavy, illuminated bathroom mirror to be installed and I wouldn’t have felt comfortable trusting anyone else to do it. Lewis also installed dimmer switches and new sockets. The place was spotless afterwards. Would definitely recommend to all. Thanks Lewis

I was completely satisfied with the service provided by Lewis, who was able to identify the problem in a methodical manner. It turned out that a fox had chewed on the outdoor electric cables to the garden, causing the house to lose light, and to bring the heating to a standstill. But Lewis was able to fix it all within a speedy 45 minutes. I highly recommend this electrician.

Luke was great! Came in to do an assessment of what we would need to fix lighting in the kitchen and came up with a simple and affordable solution. Once booked came by and did the job quickly and explained what to do and who to contact if any problems. Friendly and professional - will definitely use again!

Luke did a fantastic job of replacing a storage heater - he was patient, friendly and kept a cool head even when a few unexpected difficulties arose with the job. Luke did a full rewire of our house after we moved in (he had also done the Electrical Installation Condition Report after we had put the offer in.) The job was done to a very high level and Luke explained what the issues were and the necessary solutions. He and the team were quick (full occupied rewire in less than 3 weeks) yet comprehensive, flexible and professional. They clearly knew what they were doing and I have real confidence in the final result. In addition, our home was left tidy and with minimal disruption. I would have no issues with using Luke again or in recommending him to others.

Sudden loss of all electric power at business unit and sought help from Luke who was by sheer coincidence at the station. Was pleasantly surprised to hear that he was an electrician and in spite of never having met before, he saw our plight and fixed our problem. I have used Nathan at Urban Electrical many times for both private jobs at home and for electrical installations at our workplace. For a business like ourselves that’s been established since 1976 we have used dozens of electrical firms for all sorts of work. From pac testing, to fill re wires and always been left short with satisfaction. Well that’s until we found maclaren electrical and owner connor. The service was better than any we’ve had with any trades that we have used over the years, he went over and beyond what we asked him to do in visit one and since he’s fixed so many things that other companies had clearly poorly done over the years. I couldn’t recommend Connor and his team enough and I’m actually trying to find things I want done electric wise just to get the boys back in as I I’m so impressed with the whole firm and what they provide. They also really understand the value of looking after clients in terms of value for money. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now for my commercial or domestic works. Thanks again connor you’ve been amazing and sorry I didn’t do this review sooner and it’s taken 5 visits to do so.

Our fuse board was a mess, upside down and in the most awkward a place, we got turned down by 3 london companies when asking to re fit it, then maclaren electrical come to have a look and I thought it was going to be the same but no, connor took the job on instantly without any fuss and just got it done. All he asked for was a vanilla latte! Can not recommend these guys enough they really got us out of a sticky situation as without the re fit our license would have been effected! Thanks
