Andy came and assessed what was needed to finish my re-wire. We agreed on a date to get the works completed and they were completed on time. Andy even went above and beyond by tidying up a small cable problem I had elsewhere in the house without adding to the price. Paul did an excellent job of providing electricity to the garden shed and installing outside lights along the path, and both in the shed, and flood lights on the shed to light up the garden and the gate. He is punctual, hard working and happy to help with suggestions on different options of ways to light up the path, gate, shed, & garden.

It's always difficult to leave good reviews of tradesfolk, in case they become really popular and are too busy when you need them again! And the same is true here. Paul was brilliant in every aspect of doing business not just the electrical work. But please don't give him too much work, in case I need to use him again!

For a business like ourselves that’s been established since 1976 we have used dozens of electrical firms for all sorts of work. From pac testing, to fill re wires and always been left short with satisfaction. Well that’s until we found maclaren electrical and owner connor. The service was better than any we’ve had with any trades that we have used over the years, he went over and beyond what we asked him to do in visit one and since he’s fixed so many things that other companies had clearly poorly done over the years. I couldn’t recommend Connor and his team enough and I’m actually trying to find things I want done electric wise just to get the boys back in as I I’m so impressed with the whole firm and what they provide. They also really understand the value of looking after clients in terms of value for money. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now for my commercial or domestic works. Had Tom come out to do some rewiring and new light fittings, he did a great job and was very professional, making sure to keep everything tidy as he went.

Had Jason, Jamal & Ali come out for an emergency call out for some plastering from a leak they were very efficient and tidied after themselves. Service was 5* and were more than happy to answer any questions I had whilst working. Can’t recommend enough. Thank you.

Delighted with the work completed by Tom Port. He was very flexible with timings and was able to do the job when I was available. He installed new circuits for kitchen, lighting and electrical heating and repositioned most of the sockets. Everything works perfectly and test results demonstrate a job well done. Tom was polite, helpful and made a number of useful suggestions. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Luke did a full rewire of our house after we moved in (he had also done the Electrical Installation Condition Report after we had put the offer in.) The job was done to a very high level and Luke explained what the issues were and the necessary solutions. He and the team were quick (full occupied rewire in less than 3 weeks) yet comprehensive, flexible and professional. They clearly knew what they were doing and I have real confidence in the final result. In addition, our home was left tidy and with minimal disruption. I would have no issues with using Luke again or in recommending him to others.
