Our fuse board was a mess, upside down and in the most awkward a place, we got turned down by 3 london companies when asking to re fit it, then maclaren electrical come to have a look and I thought it was going to be the same but no, connor took the job on instantly without any fuss and just got it done. All he asked for was a vanilla latte! Can not recommend these guys enough they really got us out of a sticky situation as without the re fit our license would have been effected! Thanks

For a business like ourselves that’s been established since 1976 we have used dozens of electrical firms for all sorts of work. From pac testing, to fill re wires and always been left short with satisfaction. Well that’s until we found maclaren electrical and owner connor. The service was better than any we’ve had with any trades that we have used over the years, he went over and beyond what we asked him to do in visit one and since he’s fixed so many things that other companies had clearly poorly done over the years. I couldn’t recommend Connor and his team enough and I’m actually trying to find things I want done electric wise just to get the boys back in as I I’m so impressed with the whole firm and what they provide. They also really understand the value of looking after clients in terms of value for money. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now for my commercial or domestic works. Great service by Declan. He’s been a saviour of our weekend. He came promptly and cleared the tough kitchen sink blockage with his perseverance. He made sure to not leave the job in half finished state. He worked until the blockage was completely clear and water flowing just like a new pipe. After an unsuccessful time trying to unblock a toilet myself I had no choice but to call a company out. My first thought was Dyno Rod but refused to pay their prices. I took a chance and googled Drain Ace Ltd. What a fabulous guy Declan is. He was at my flat within 45 mins. He is a true professional and a genuine guy. He cleared the blockage and I also got him back another time to Jet blast some other drains where there was limescale and tree roots. I wouldn’t hesitate for one minute to recommend this guy. Amazing!

I was very satisfied with the service and their speed, communication and punctuality to attend and sort my lights out. I would only suggest to inform about the pricing as I found it a bit higher than I expected. Good provider for large works but for small works like changing a switch I would probably use a bit cheaper options. But as I mentioned, the job was done quick and efficient.

We have had Matt do an array of electrical work in the house and garden on several projects- he is prompt, tidy, and very professional. Polite and kind but does not waste time talking instead of working. Good follow up work if there are any issues, regardless of if they were a product of his work or not.

Matt was super helpful installing my EV Charger, he advised me I would need to speak with UK Power Networks to arrange a 100A fuse upgrade which they did FOC as he explained. From the start of the process requesting a quote to having the EV Charger installed, which involved the 100A fuse upgrade and new tails installed by electric supplier took about 3 weeks. During this time I stayed in touch with Matt to keep him up to speed and always got timely, polite, friendly replies. I hadn't researched EV Chargers to the point where I knew which would be the best balance between price and performance, Matt asked me a few questions about this and said he would be able to select one that would be appropriate. When he came to install the EV Charger he made sure I was happy with the location by sending pictures to confirm where I wanted it mounted on the wall and when he had finished there was zero mess. EV Charger works well and have had no issues. Matt is now my go to for any electrical work I need done, as I like to use people I can trust both for the work and for quoting fair price. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic company used their services several times. Woke up with power outage and the fuse box would not reset. I sent a text requesting a call out and received expert advice remotely. The fault was my immersion heater and I was advised to contact a plumber. Thanks to Ethos brilliant customer service I was able to get the problem fixed in a matter of hours.
