Steven was amazing! Called the number at 5pm on a Friday night, after putting up a shelf myself and causing a power cut! Clearly drilled through a wire just before the weekend... Typical! Within the hour Steven was at the house and had the job finished by 7pm! Lovely gentleman , fast efficient and really careful with both my shelf and wall - really pleased with the service and would highly recommend to any other DIY disasters! Thank you so much!

SRC Electrical did a sensational job on a tricky rewire at our property to the highest standard. I had originally been messed about by other local tradesman regarding this job but Steve took the reins and went above and beyond for us. He was a good, reliable presence in the house, our dog loved him and I couldn't have asked a more professional electrician. We were provided with all the necessary certificates and information before and after the job. So with that I would fully recommend SRC to anyone.

I contracted SRC Electrical to carry out works at my work premises. The works were to install electrical feeds for a new commercial gas cooker, to rewire the existing extractor hood, install the cooker and to isolate/re-utilise part of the existing set-up (which was no longer required as was for the old gas appliance). Steve was friendly, prompt, responsive, detailed, helpful, attentive and professional at every stage of contact from the very initial contact through to completion of the works (where he then called the next day to debrief as works finished after I had left for the day). There's one little snag (no fault of SRC in the first place) which we have discussed and Steve will be resolving next week. Importantly, I have absolute confidence that he will do this. By the time I was in the office the next morning, the required certification and building notice instruction(s) had been actioned/completed - with all the relevant paperwork supplied to us already. I'd highly recommend Steve (and Phil who was working with him). SRC have proven to be a great contact who are solutions focused and we look forward to working with them over the coming months and years.

I couldn't recommend Steve highly enough. I gave him a reasonably complex kitchen and day room to wire with electrics for all appliances and an island, under-stairs loo, smart lighting throughout with additional pendant and outdoor lighting, ceiling speakers and cat6 fibre run from the front of my house. He clearly laid it all out as the build progressed, went through it all with me, explained the various options when I wanted pretty much everything and did it all with great proficiency, professionalism and punctuality! Had a good laugh too! Wouldn't look elsewhere when needed in the future!

When my kitchen light died I was in dire need of an electrician. Fortunately Dan was recommended to me by a neighbour who explained that whilst he had not had occasion to use his services he had been highly recommended. On contacting Dan I quickly found out that the recommendation was very accurate. He dealt with my problem in a timely manner ( I was fortunate to have same day service) supplying and fitting a new fixture that afternoon. I cannot speak more highly of the service I received or of Dan himself as he was clearly a very conscientious person. I thoroughly recommend him to anybody reading this review

I recently referred Dan Evans of Big Green Electrical to a key contact. Dan was brought in to install some spotlights in the hallway of a flat. It was not a straightforward job as access above the ceiling was severely restricted. In particular, a large water tank sat directly above a key area of the ceiling that needed spotlights. Dan arrived on time, presented professionally. He took time to listen carefully to the customer’s requirements and made some key recommendations based on his experience to ensure that the finished result was optimum. Once the brief was agreed, Dan worked efficiently and tirelessly without stopping for even a five minute break to get the job done. He completed the job ahead of time and ensured that the customer was satisfied that she had got the ‘wow’ factor in her hallway, which she had – it looked fantastic.

Daniel and the Big Green Electrical Company have been outstanding. When I was planning and building my new house I really wanted to work with a solar provider that would work with me to understand my wider electrical requirements and design a solar system to match. Working with Daniel he designed a system to utilise the maximum amount of roof space on the house with 25 solar panels using an in roof GSE tray system for a neat look. This also saved money on roof tiles! It uses a Solaredge 8 KW 3 phase hybrid inverter with DC coupled battery storage and a home backup system that keeps the house running even in a grid loss. The system is making ample solar and has already generated over £800 (2.2 MW) in 2 months which has take a massive bite out of the electrical cost of running a large new build property complete with heat pumps, car chargers, batter Nothing has been too much trouble and he has helped with advice and guidance around other electrical elements of the house, working closely with the main contractor and electricians to ensure everything worked well together. Following the completion of the install he has been diligent with all the certificates, paperwork, handover pack and also helped deal with the DNO when they have been less than helpful. In this busy market where you want a competent, trusted, diligent and friendly provider who will design and install a system that works for your needs and not leave you in the lurch then Daniel and the Big Green Electrical Company are where you want to go.

Ryder has carried out work at our house on several occasions. Living in a listed cottage, electric works always come with challenges but Ryder has always carried out work very respectfully and in keeping with the house, and found work arounds where needed. I came home from my holiday to find that my roof had leaked and some of the electrics had been affected. So just to be safe I asked Rowland of Brightlights solutions if he could do an electrical survey to make sure nothing was seriously wrong with the electrics and to make sure it was all safe. Rowland himself was extremely busy as electricians are but he sent round his colleague Garth instead. Garth was extremely well mannered and knowledgeable. He worked very quietly and quickly. He even has indoor shoes in order to keep your floors clean which was very unexpected but a really nice touch. I will always use Brightlights and forever recommend them with confidence because it doesn’t matter who shows up at your house, you know if you’ve called Brightlights then they’ll have unparalleled knowledge and you’ll be getting the best possible service.

Having just downsized I was anxious for an electrician to complete several tasks at my new home. I phoned 10 from various advertised sites and only 2 answered my call; one could start in 2 months time whilst the only other one actually arrived 2 days later. He (Max) was very efficient, knowledgeable & friendly. The jobs were finished later that day with a final invoice that was most reasonable. I would use them again without hesitation.

DRS Electrical came highly recommended in the village I live from multiple sources, and it's clear to see why. Their customer service was exemplary and I truly appreciated their patience of explaining and talking through all the issues with me as a layman and little experience of electrics. Billy from Next Level Electrics fitted a new consumer unit for us, and did a full circuit test which found a couple of minor issues to sort out. Billy from Next Level Electrics supplied and installed an EV Charger for us. It wasn't a straightforward install, having to go through 2 external and 1 internal wall to get to the consumer unit. We asked Billy for his help in solving a few lighting problems in our kitchen, including adding under cabinet lighting, a new pendant light above the island and a few extra sockets dotted around. The work was done on time, in a professional manner, and Billy found a way around all the obstacles that came our way as our kitchen is particularly awkward with regards to its layout. I have been let down or not had calls returned by so many tradesmen over recent years, it’s like they just can’t be bothered with smaller jobs even though they still charge loads. This morning I realised my 30amp fuse was tripping meaning no dishwasher or washing machine and power to outbuilding. I found this company and called, Sam was with me within an hour, not only did he solve that issue, he also fixed a kitchen socket after running several tests and a bedroom light, he is truly professional and knowledgeable and also really polite and easy going. I will definitely be using him going forward and can’t recommend him enough, today could have been a nightmare but ended up being very successful and stress free, thank you very much Sam.

Recently required Jake's services to perform a full EICR safety inspection, replace a fusebox consumer unit and complete remedial work from EICR findings (across two separate visits).
