Steven came out to me within an hour to help fix a trip switch issue. He was so friendly and helpful. He explained really clearly what he was doing and fixed the problem within the hour. The price was very fair for an emergency call out too. Highly recommended. And a lovely guy.

Steven was amazing! Called the number at 5pm on a Friday night, after putting up a shelf myself and causing a power cut! Clearly drilled through a wire just before the weekend... Typical! Within the hour Steven was at the house and had the job finished by 7pm! Rowland and Garth are both excellent electricians who have worked on our first house 8 years ago and then this month on our latest house. Daniel and the Big Green Electrical Company have been outstanding. When I was planning and building my new house I really wanted to work with a solar provider that would work with me to understand my wider electrical requirements and design a solar system to match. Working with Daniel he designed a system to utilise the maximum amount of roof space on the house with 25 solar panels using an in roof GSE tray system for a neat look. This also saved money on roof tiles! It uses a Solaredge 8 KW 3 phase hybrid inverter with DC coupled battery storage and a home backup system that keeps the house running even in a grid loss. The system is making ample solar and has already generated over £800 (2.2 MW) in 2 months which has take a massive bite out of the electrical cost of running a large new build property complete with heat pumps, car chargers, batter Nothing has been too much trouble and he has helped with advice and guidance around other electrical elements of the house, working closely with the main contractor and electricians to ensure everything worked well together. Following the completion of the install he has been diligent with all the certificates, paperwork, handover pack and also helped deal with the DNO when they have been less than helpful. We recently used The Big Green Electrical Company for our home studio conversion. Dan was reliable, professional and helpful from the very beginning, giving us advice on what would work best and we trusted his expertise and knowledge. When my kitchen light died I was in dire need of an electrician. Fortunately Dan was recommended to me by a neighbour who explained that whilst he had not had occasion to use his services he had been highly recommended. On contacting Dan I quickly found out that the recommendation was very accurate. He dealt with my problem in a timely manner ( I was fortunate to have same day service) supplying and fitting a new fixture that afternoon. I recently referred Dan Evans of Big Green Electrical to a key contact. Dan was brought in to install some spotlights in the hallway of a flat. It was not a straightforward job as access above the ceiling was severely restricted. In particular, a large water tank sat directly above a key area of the ceiling that needed spotlights. Dan arrived on time, presented professionally. He took time to listen carefully to the customer’s requirements and made some key recommendations based on his experience to ensure that the finished result was optimum. Once the brief was agreed, Dan worked efficiently and tirelessly without stopping for even a five minute break to get the job done. He completed the job ahead of time and ensured that the customer was satisfied that she had got the ‘wow’ factor in her hallway, which she had – it looked fantastic.

Max and the team from DRS were very professional from the initial arranging the appointment to the installation work. Arranged with them to also carry out the annual servicing. Very pleased to have a great local company.

Emma responded promptly to initial request. Max replaced broken light switch, set up two new carbon monoxide alarms, and replaced three out-of-date smoke alarms, all in one visit. As an oldie on my own, I now feel safer! Nice people, treat you as a valued client. Highly recommend.

Having just downsized I was anxious for an electrician to complete several tasks at my new home. I phoned 10 from various advertised sites and only 2 answered my call; one could start in 2 months time whilst the only other one actually arrived 2 days later. Ryder has carried out work at our house on several occasions. Living in a listed cottage, electric works always come with challenges but Ryder has always carried out work very respectfully and in keeping with the house, and found work arounds where needed. He is tidy, polite, and courteous. Work is always completed to a high standard and he takes time to talk through it with you. His prices are very reasonable and have been true to quotation. We will continue to use Ryder and John for upcoming work and have already recommended him to friends and family.

We have used this company a couple of times and have been pleased with their work. They are able to discuss options and provide a quote with clear costings. They turn up when they say they will and are clean and tidy and check that you are happy with the work and will answer queries quickly.

Billy from Next Level Electrics supplied and installed an EV Charger for us. It wasn't a straightforward install, having to go through 2 external and 1 internal wall to get to the consumer unit. We asked Billy for his help in solving a few lighting problems in our kitchen, including adding under cabinet lighting, a new pendant light above the island and a few extra sockets dotted around.
