Used Topsparks multiple times. Telephone always answered quickly. Plumber always sent next day if urgent. Plumber always shows up on time and stays to complete the job whether it is 2 hours or 8 hours. Mike and his apprentice are outstanding and did a thorough job and worked really hard. The whole team at Topsparks is ‘user-friendly’. They are very considerate towards my 94-year old father and his needs and provided full technical explanations. Good value and reasonable pricing. Plumber was re-sent on one occasion when further work needed and I was not charged. My thanks to Karen, Aran, Mike and Tim.

We changed the missmatched under cupboard and dodgy cooker hood lights. Stuart has changed halogen to LED so that they are all the same, and replaced broken ones. In the process he discovered that the extractor hose outlet had been bodged. The sticky tape (!) had disintegrated. He went back to the wholesaler to get the right sized reducer. Such a nice man. He is the first ‘leccy’ that has actually taken the trouble to find out why stuff wasn’t working. Everything is now safe, working as it should, and the lights are all the same colour! A very pleasant change from the previous numpties! Definitely a keeper. Thank you Grays. PS Can’t comment on ‘value’ as we haven’t had the bill yet but we will be delighted whatever it is!

Stu and Kevin were brilliant. The work wasn't easy but they completed everything even though it took more than one visit! Everything was professional, neat and tidy. Can't fault the work. Would recommend the company to everyone. They went above and beyond. Very good value as well!

I was having some shelves made. I popped out and when I returned the carpenter frantically advised me that all of the downstairs sockets had stopped working. This included the kitchen, with a fridge full of food. I rang P.N Gray at 15:00. I left a message and Michael returned my call immediately. He said that he would send Stewart McIntyre. Stewart arrived quickly. Within 15 minutes he had established what the problem was. He repaired it instantly, restoring power to the kitchen before the milk had even started to get warm. I cannot begin to say how excellent P. N. Gray is. This is the second time that they have responded quickly to my electrical problems - the previous incident was related to a faulty smoke alarm sensor. Michael is cordial and responsive, and Stewart was efficient and professional. He was even thoughtful of the carpenter's embarrassment. I would highly recommend P.N Gray for your electrical needs.

Dan did a brilliant job at fitting a Type 2 EV charger for our home which also required a new fuse board fitting. Notably Dan took the time before installing to help advise a suitable charging unit and furthermore showed me the upgrades installed from our previous fuse board, which I am now glad we have done (regardless of if we had an EV car) as it is a great deal safer than the fuse board we inherited after buying the house recently. Dan did such a good job we also used him for jobs required around the home such as dimmers, electrical wiring of new television in the wall, outdoor lighting and more. Would recommend and will continue to use for all electrical jobs we need in the future.

Dan did a fantastic job. He replied to an enquiry within half an hour and managed to squeeze in our job that day. He was quick and efficient - completely fixing the problem we’d been struggling with for nearly a year. He also gave advice and helped with safety issues. Hi I was recommended to Dan by a friend who is also in the electrical profession he and his apprentice arrived on time and replaced our old wired fuse box and checked the entire installation finding a few faults and rectifying them, he was quick, tidy and very professional and knowledgeable I must say that I could recommend him to anyone, thank you again Dan for your help!!

We left a voicemail last week detailing a number of small jobs that needed dealing with. We received a call back the same day and booked an appointment for Tuesday this week. We received the estimate the same day. The electrician (Jack) arrived on Friday afternoon, completed five different jobs including drilling through a wall to fit a shaver point in a bathroom, repairing sockets, repairing a night storage heater, repairing a three way dimmer switch and untangling, shortening and tidying up a complete jungle of wires in a 15 foot high vaulted ceiling. Jack was polite, friendly and tidy, a credit to any company. We will certainly use and recommend Andy Whitty Limited again.

Our experience with M J Bird Electrical was brilliant. We wanted plugs fitted in our loft and Mike came round to quote and then back to fit the plugs in the space of a couple of weeks. They did a great job, quick, tidy and even filled the wall where they'd added the new cable. I have been considering creating an en suite shower room and effecting some external works at my property but was somewhat daunted by managing a project. Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating Services and James Newsam Construction were recommended by neighbours. Joe and James, who often work in collaboration, came to assess what was required and quote a week after contact. Options were discussed, sensible advice given and a detailed quote and anticipated start date followed shortly thereafter. The Project commenced on the agreed start date with a team of professional, pleasant, experienced, local trades arriving one after the other! all were well-briefed, hard working and consulted me in relation to any decisions (style of doors, placement of switches etc) as necessary. The ethos and importance of "Customer Satisfaction" was obvious throughout. Any queries I had were responded to by Joe or James, usually within the hour. Joe managed the sequence of events entirely for all the electrical and plumbing work, which was completed to a very high standard. I am delighted with my new En Suite Shower Room, it is spacious, practical and stylish and will doubtless add value to my property. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, who I will definitely use again. PS the final Invoice was exactly as quote and I literally could not fault any part of the service I received.

We've been super-happy with Joe and his colleagues. Highly recommended. We discoevered Joe through a previous small job at our colttage where they were sub-contracted by our builder. This week, they replaced a whole lot of ageing night-storage heaters with modern, programmable radiators at our rather old and crumbly cottage in Dorset. Joe gave great advice, answering every email really quickly. We were away when they did the job over a couple of days. We returned to find everything completed absolutely perfectly. The cabling from our meter was rewired as needed. Everything just right. New radiators installed, firmly fixed to our walls of various weird and historic materials. Other than the radiators being installed, we wouldn't have known they'd been here! The heavy old contraptions full of grime and bricks had been dismantled and taken away without any fuss, or dust. Through no fault of theirs, one of the new radiators had a little fault. They responded instantly and had sourced and installed a new one within 24 hours. Unbelievable! Everything friendly, cheerful, efficient, responsive and charged exactly the price agreed in advance. We are very happy (and warm!) bunnies indeed. Thank you Joe and Mark! Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We would definitely recommend using Joe and his team and we will be next spring for the other bathroom to be renovated. Thanks Joe and team. Andy and Lisa.
