Used Topsparks multiple times. Telephone always answered quickly. Plumber always sent next day if urgent. Plumber always shows up on time and stays to complete the job whether it is 2 hours or 8 hours. Mike and his apprentice are outstanding and did a thorough job and worked really hard. The whole team at Topsparks is ‘user-friendly’. They are very considerate towards my 94-year old father and his needs and provided full technical explanations. Good value and reasonable pricing. Left a message and received call within minutes (none of the other companies returned my calls) Problem dealt with efficiently and professionally. Whilst I was away on holiday I rang Ricky Stubbs (owner/ partner) he not only arranged the work to be done, he was there unbelievably quick and turned up when he said and completed the work to an excellent standard. Stubbs Electrical and Security have now done extensive works for us across multiple domestic jobs: CCTV, electrical gates, garden lights, security lights, meshed wifi, rewiring and maintenance/ call-out emergencies. During a recent storm, I had a full power outage. Ricky responded quickly and came out to fix the problem. He was professional and nothing was too much trouble despite it being late on a Saturday night. I cannot recommend him and the company enough.

It's always hard to find a company that you can trust. It takes time and a bit of research. I fell on my feet with Evergreen Renewables of Lyme Regis. With fairness and a solid attitude toward getting to the end product. I now have a great solar system fitted and I know I can trust the back up service, if something happens. Ian and his team have fitted solar panels and battery storage for me at Seaton Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club and Uplyme Village Hall. From first contact, to site visits, to explaining and tweaking the options, to the efficient and tidy completion of the job and on to after sales service, it's all been A1 and all at a competitive price too. I recently had solar panels and battery installed. Ian didn’t try and do the hard sell, he explained everything in a way that made sense to me, even when I asked stupid questions he took his time to explain. Very happy with the service I received, the entire team are extremely professional and polite. And I am even happier with the money I am saving already 😉.

We planned to install solar power at our house. It is listed, in an AONB and thatched so we knew it wouldn’t be the most straightforward installation. We originally had the tiled garage roof in mind for the panels. We researched local solar panel installers and chose Evergreen Renewable Energy SW based on a neighbour’s recommendation. Ian came to do the first survey and recognised that the garage roof wouldn’t be large enough to produce enough power for us, to justify the cost of the installation. He then suggested ground mounted panels within the property boundary. These would be mounted using the Cornish Rocker system, which also allow panel angle adjustment during the year depending on the height of the sun. The system didn’t require concrete foundations which enhanced the environmental credentials. We received the quote quickly and Ian answered our questions straightaway. Our council planning application was assisted in detail by Chris at Cornish Rocker. This made things much easier. Our panels were installed in Autumn 2023 along with a battery, housed in the garage. Cabling trench work was carried out by a company suggested by Ian. There was an immediate reduction in our energy costs, which have improved greatly as we have gone into the summer months of 2024, and offset by being able to export to the grid. During this period Evergreen Renewable Energy promptly answered any queries we had. On one occasion when there had been a power cut in the area, Ian alerted us to the impact on our system and advised us how to reset it. The service from Ian and his team and Chris from Cornish Rocker, has been excellent throughout and we can’t fault the after sales service. Our desire to do our bit for the environment and reduce fossil fuel energy consumption, has already started to be realised. We are pleased to have been able to provide business to a local company and would recommend Evergreen SW and Cornish Rocker without hesitation. A big thank you from us.

We've been super-happy with Joe and his colleagues. Highly recommended. We discoevered Joe through a previous small job at our colttage where they were sub-contracted by our builder. This week, they replaced a whole lot of ageing night-storage heaters with modern, programmable radiators at our rather old and crumbly cottage in Dorset. Joe gave great advice, answering every email really quickly. We were away when they did the job over a couple of days. We returned to find everything completed absolutely perfectly. The cabling from our meter was rewired as needed. Everything just right. New radiators installed, firmly fixed to our walls of various weird and historic materials. Other than the radiators being installed, we wouldn't have known they'd been here! The heavy old contraptions full of grime and bricks had been dismantled and taken away without any fuss, or dust. Through no fault of theirs, one of the new radiators had a little fault. They responded instantly and had sourced and installed a new one within 24 hours. Unbelievable! Everything friendly, cheerful, efficient, responsive and charged exactly the price agreed in advance. We are very happy (and warm!) bunnies indeed. Thank you Joe and Mark! Joe and his colleagues did the electrical work and plumbing on our houses renovation. The electrical work carried out (mainly) by Aaron and his trusty assistant Billy is superb. Aaron is extremely methodical in his approach and it shows with the end result. We also had a mini wet room built. The end result is stunning. The tiling and the tanking beneath the tiling was done to an extremely high standard. The tiler Steve is a lovely chap and again, extremely methodical in his approach. Towards the end of the project the final bits of plumbing were completed by plumber Aaron and John. Again the work was to a high standard and it was a pleasure having them in our home. We would definitely recommend using Joe and his team and we will be next spring for the other bathroom to be renovated. Thanks Joe and team. Andy and Lisa. I have been considering creating an en suite shower room and effecting some external works at my property but was somewhat daunted by managing a project. Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating Services and James Newsam Construction were recommended by neighbours. Joe and James, who often work in collaboration, came to assess what was required and quote a week after contact. Options were discussed, sensible advice given and a detailed quote and anticipated start date followed shortly thereafter. The Project commenced on the agreed start date with a team of professional, pleasant, experienced, local trades arriving one after the other! all were well-briefed, hard working and consulted me in relation to any decisions (style of doors, placement of switches etc) as necessary. The ethos and importance of "Customer Satisfaction" was obvious throughout. Any queries I had were responded to by Joe or James, usually within the hour. Joe managed the sequence of events entirely for all the electrical and plumbing work, which was completed to a very high standard. I am delighted with my new En Suite Shower Room, it is spacious, practical and stylish and will doubtless add value to my property. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe Newton Electrical, Plumbing and Heating, who I will definitely use again. PS the final Invoice was exactly as quote and I literally could not fault any part of the service I received.

Yup, the good reviews are on point. Gavin & his team did a full rewire of my house, and every aspect of working with him was A1. Starting with a detailed and fair quote; he made great suggestions that I hadn't thought of; the works, and communications were done well and on time; he was flexible to changes in my plans....generally speaking, he has a great attitude, so all-in-all I could relax and trust that the job was in good hands.

We recently had a mains cable fault which required extensive works to correct, we needed new very large three phase cables and switchgear. Paul was fantastic throughout, he arrived on site within a couple of hours to test and diagnose the fault, advised what cable and switchgear was required, helped to source the materials and then returned to install once materials arrived on site. His standard of work is excellent, I have no problem recommending him to others. Due to the timeframe involved he managed to get a weeks worth of work done in just three and a half days, fantastic effort.

Paul was a huge help to us on Xmas Eve. We were having issues with our electrics in our care home. We tried different electricians for support but Paul can to our rescue in the afternoon. He was extremely efficient and figured out the issue straight away! We couldn’t be more thankful and will use him in the future again.

I cannot recommend Chris at Entrust enough. His knowledge is A1. His ideas and designs have the perfect balance to meet practical as well as aesthetic requirements. He is a very friendly and personable chap. He is very aware he is working in your home and we felt very comfortable leaving him to work independently and trusted him with keys to our property. His work standard is A1 as is his efficiency. His pricing matched his quotes and he went above and beyond in every way to make sure we were 100% happy with every aspect of his work.
