We are so pleased that we contacted Tim to support our 12 year old son’s Maths learning. After some negative experiences of Maths in Year 6 and year 7, his confidence in Maths was low. What can i say, I feel we have found the perfect tutor. Maths GCSE Chess Physics We had been struggling with our year 6 son for a couple of years as he has a natural aptitude for mathematics and was not getting any challenge from school and disengaging. After talking with numerous tutors i found Tim and had the most positive engaging conversation and his passion was unbelievable. The relationship our Son and Tim have developed is truly amazing, so much so that we have now increased lessons to include chess and Physics.......If Tim taught sewing i am sure Oscar would engage 100% he is just that kind of guy that make everything interesting. Our son is now looking to take his Maths GCSE a few years early and that is all down to Tim. he is now engaged, passionate and looks forward to every lesson. Communication is fantastic, we have regular conversations and a lot of discussions about direction and progress. Tim has really helped my daughter with her math confidence. She was completely blocked when it came to maths. We are very happy with the tuition our daughter got from Richard last year. His lessons are tailored to every child's need; increasing in difficulty as the child progresses. Richard will spend extra time with a particular child if he/she needs extra help. Towards the end, the homework our daughter would get from Richard got harder, therefore our daughter found grammar school test not as hard and passed it easily. Highly recommended, Marta has been tutoring my son who has just passed his GCSEs and would not have achieved the results he did in science without marta! My daughter also has tutoring with marta for maths and she has grown so much in confidence and been moved to a higher set for the next academic year. Exeter Tutors paired my son with a tutor called George to support his 11+ preparations. George is an excellent tutor, very friendly, relaxed and patient, and is very experienced. Tutoring was generally in person but occasionally online and both worked really well. Exeter Tutors are great to deal with and Ruth kept all the parents up to date on the latest expectations from Colyton as they changed their exam providers causing some uncertainty.

Can't recommend Exeter Tutors highly enough, our tutor Stephanie was kind and patient with our daughter and instilled a lot of exam confidence as well as teaching some top tips. All the booking processes, emails and instructions related to payments and attendance were clear and easy to understand. We booked a summer course and mock exams through their partner company too, all of which were equally as good.

I can’t recommend Matt more highly. We signed up for maths tutoring with Matt fairly late in the year, with only about 6 weeks until the exams were to begin; mainly because our son was really struggling with confidence about his maths. The pressure to pass was making revision seem totally overwhelming. Matt was such a fantastic tutor. Not only did he help to make sense of the areas of maths which were a struggle, but he also subtly coached our son to have a positive mindset. My daughter has just finished her GCSE exams. She had maths tuition with Matt from February to the final paper last week. Jane has tutored 2 of my children for the 11+ grammar school exams and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Both of my children lacked confidence in their ability and Jane made the lessons fun and something they both looked forward to. When it came to the exams both children were excited to be able to show what they could achieve - she taught them how to cope with the pressure, exam techniques as well as helping to strengthen their ability in math and english - both sailed through the 11+ and have continued to do well after such a fantastic grounding.
