We are very happy with the tuition our daughter got from Richard last year. His lessons are tailored to every child's need; increasing in difficulty as the child progresses. Richard will spend extra time with a particular child if he/she needs extra help. Towards the end, the homework our daughter would get from Richard got harder, therefore our daughter found grammar school test not as hard and passed it easily. When our other daughter and son are old enough, we would happily send them to Richard for extra tuition. Linda and Alfred.

Jane has tutored 2 of my children for the 11+ grammar school exams and I cannot recommend her highly enough. My daughter attended the 11+ tutoring in year5, from the first day she loved the sessions. Her abilities and confidence grew throughout the year, the support and belief showed by Lee helped immensely. Signed up for my daughter. It’s a great revision platform. Live tutoring on various subjects but if she’s busy at the time, they are recorded so she can watch when it’s convenient. Also if she has an area she’s struggling on, Andy is wonderful at posting extra content to include this.

I had never heard of 11 plus before speaking to a very friendly gentleman named Peter. My son gets extremely anxious around change and wanted to sit the 11 plus but was late to the party. He ended up doing the mock exams and intense workshops during the summer. He sat the 11 plus and achieved a high enough score to apply for both schools. Now I can honestly say he would not have even completed the exam had it not been for Pete and Franny. They didn’t just put me at ease but more importantly my son felt comfortable and at ease. I thought it was going to be hard to get him to go and learn in the summer but he enjoyed it and the way it was all taught. We approached Jurassic Coast Tutors for extra support as my daughter approached GCSE’s focussing on English Language. We were matched with Tracy who was able to provide 1:1 support, in our home. We have been so pleased with how well our daughter has settled into the year 6 tutor group. Sophie has a lovely warm classroom enviroment and she is so approachable and makes learning fun. From the moment we first met Sophie we knew instantly we found the right tutor. Approachable. Kind. Understanding. My daughter couldnt stop saying how wonderful she was. Barney has been an incredible tutor over the past year! During my A-Levels he has helped me to achieve a grade A in Maths and as a result I am now studying at Exeter University. One thing that separated him from other tutors which helped immensely, was his his willingness to help outside of our tutor hour. I was able to ask him questions from work he had set me or any other problems I was stuck on and he would get back to me quickly with an explanation, saving me time rather than waiting until our next session.

Barney is an excellent maths tutor. He is very knowledgeable and can answer and explain any question straight away. He is very organised knows the syllabus and how to attack it. He is also very patient and able to motivate his students. We were lucky enough to have Barney tutor my daughter with her A Level maths which we are both very grateful to him for all his help.
