I highly recommend Kingsbury Education, Pete & Franny are so welcoming and friendly, they know exactly what they are doing, helping children with their confidence, welcoming any questions and always there to support parents too. The weekly tutoring program is very good, Mock test are really great especially the weeks before the test, it helps a lot, also books and resources are available in Kingsbury website which was very handy and helpful. I had never heard of 11 plus before speaking to a very friendly gentleman named Peter. My son gets extremely anxious around change and wanted to sit the 11 plus but was late to the party. He ended up doing the mock exams and intense workshops during the summer. He sat the 11 plus and achieved a high enough score to apply for both schools. Now I can honestly say he would not have even completed the exam had it not been for Pete and Franny. They didn’t just put me at ease but more importantly my son felt comfortable and at ease. I thought it was going to be hard to get him to go and learn in the summer but he enjoyed it and the way it was all taught. I could not recommend Pete and Franny high enough a very personal touch from a family that cares about each individual. Thank you so much to both of you! “11 plus experts” is definitely just.

We couldn’t be more grateful to Pete and Franny for their exceptional support in helping our son prepare for the 11+ exam. He began attending their weekly hubs in the September of Year 5 and also participated in their mock tests and intensive coaching sessions during the holidays. Pete and Franny make a fantastic team, and from the very first session, our son was fully engaged and found the lessons both interesting and enjoyable. As parents, having their expertise was incredibly reassuring. They not only helped our son learn a huge amount—leading to a high score on the exam—but also put him in an excellent position for Year 6. His confidence has grown enormously, and we’ve seen him flourish academically and emotionally throughout this process. The entire experience was overwhelmingly positive. Pete and Franny were there for our son and our family every step of the way, providing emotional support as well as academic guidance. It’s a lot for young children to handle, but they made the journey manageable and even enjoyable. Our son also formed new friendships with other students who will be joining him at the grammar school, which has been a great bonus. I can’t recommend Pete and Franny highly enough. Their professionalism, care, and dedication are second to none. If you’re considering 11+ preparation, they are simply the best.

Both my children attended Kingsbury education and sailed through their exams with flying colours! Pete and Franny are nothing but amazing. We are very happy with the tuition our daughter got from Richard last year. His lessons are tailored to every child's need; increasing in difficulty as the child progresses. Richard will spend extra time with a particular child if he/she needs extra help. Towards the end, the homework our daughter would get from Richard got harder, therefore our daughter found grammar school test not as hard and passed it easily. When our other daughter and son are old enough, we would happily send them to Richard for extra tuition. Linda and Alfred.

Marta has been really beneficial to my son in the past 3 years, we started with Marta when my son was in Year 9, he is now in the midst of his GCSE's and asking me to book extras lessons. He has improved so much that he is now doing the higher level Maths paper. Marta is incredible she is very patience, happy to go over things several time and provide extra lessons. I would highly recommend anyone using her. My youngest son starts in September.

5 Star rating! We first came across Marta/Somerset Private Tutor when my Son was in Year 9 and struggling to access mainstream education due to Autism/Anxiety/School related Anxiety etc. We started off using Marta to help support my Son with missed lessons. Two and a half years later and my son has just completed GCSEs having been homeschooled for the last two years. Marta has educated him in Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Without Marta's expert help we would not have got there. The level of service is superb and Marta was able to make adaptations to support my Son's individual requirements. The level of communication has been brilliant. The service is flexible to accommodate the individual child. We also had the added advantage that my Son's education was not disrupted during the Covid lockdowns as on-line lessons continued as normal. I am so pleased with how this has turned out for my son.

Marta tutors me in maths and science at GCSE level. I have M.E/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and have been ill for over 3 years, this means I am unable to access mainstream education or medical tuition. Marta is brilliant at adapting to my changing health, she is able to teach her lessons in a way that I am able to remember the information. She has many techniques to help me achieve this, for example using coloured pens. She never gets exasperated even when I ask the same question many times, and will continue to explain it until I understand and am able to retain the information. Also she is very understanding even if I can’t always manage the homework due to my poor health. I thoroughly enjoy my sessions and learn a lot. I can’t recommend Marta enough, and she is especially brilliant if you have any extra needs.

Can’t recommend Marta highly enough! She was extremely helpful and understanding when our daughter needed to come out of school at the end of year 10 due to physical and emotional difficulties in attending school. She has worked hard with our daughter to find any gaps and weaknesses in her knowledge of the subjects (all 3 sciences and maths), and has built her confidence in her abilities. She is very kind, friendly, supportive and engaging both online and in her office.

I can’t recommend Matt more highly. We signed up for maths tutoring with Matt fairly late in the year, with only about 6 weeks until the exams were to begin; mainly because our son was really struggling with confidence about his maths. The pressure to pass was making revision seem totally overwhelming. Matt was such a fantastic tutor. Not only did he help to make sense of the areas of maths which were a struggle, but he also subtly coached our son to have a positive mindset. Having been hugely reluctant to begin his tutoring, he very quickly looked forward to the sessions and came away like a different person - much less stressed, and confident to tackle his exams. We are hugely grateful for the support!

My daughter has just finished her GCSE exams. She had maths tuition with Matt from February to the final paper last week. Due to weekly tuition with Matt we saw a considerable improvement in her overall ability, with a grade increase for her mocks in March. Jerome recently helped my son with studying for the 11+ exam. My son loved the sessions, he thought Jerome explained thing's clearly, and looked forward to the sessions. If you are looking for a fantastic tutor for your child, then please be aware of the excellent service that Jerome Paul offers. My husband and I have used Jerome for a number of years, first when our daughter was in middle school for assistance with maths. Our daughter was achieving well in all other subjects but Jerome’s tutoring not only placed her in top sets, but we saw a complete change in her mood and confidence. She no longer dreaded days where she had maths lessons and Jerome assisted in her transfer to senior school where she would often return so happy that, “ she knew what the teacher was talking about before they taught the lesson." I wanted to review before my son gets his results back as largely the outcome is irrelevant to my feedback. Over the past months Anne has worked with Alf in a supportive and encouraging way. Stretching him for sure, but offering guidance, feedback and tutoring at an appropriate level through each stage of his learning journey. In that time I’ve seen his confidence and ability sky rocket and the complexity of the problems he’s now approaching are far in excess of what he was capable of last December.
