Jerome tutored my daughter for just over a year for her maths GCSE and I can’t thank him enough for the encouragement and confidence he gave her. She didn’t believe she could pass a maths GCSE and when she opened her results this summer she was delighted and relieved to find she had passed!! If you are looking for a fantastic tutor for your child, then please be aware of the excellent service that Jerome Paul offers. My husband and I have used Jerome for a number of years, first when our daughter was in middle school for assistance with maths. Our daughter was achieving well in all other subjects but Jerome’s tutoring not only placed her in top sets, but we saw a complete change in her mood and confidence. She no longer dreaded days where she had maths lessons and Jerome assisted in her transfer to senior school where she would often return so happy that, “ she knew what the teacher was talking about before they taught the lesson." Jerome is patient and adjusts according to ability. We cannot rate him enough as busy professionals ourselves we would highly recommend if your child needs assistance at any level for whatever duration of tutoring.

Our son has been on his learning journey with Jerome since year 3 when we noticed our child was starting to become disinterested & limited in what was being provided in his classroom. It has been close to 2 years that we have been using Jerome as a tutor & the improvement in our son's attitude towards learning has greatly improved & we had excellent results on his year end report. I cannot recommend Jerome's services enough our son is engaged and exceeding in his year group but most of all his love of learning has returned. Worth every penny!

I wanted to review before my son gets his results back as largely the outcome is irrelevant to my feedback. Over the past months Anne has worked with Alf in a supportive and encouraging way. Stretching him for sure, but offering guidance, feedback and tutoring at an appropriate level through each stage of his learning journey. In that time I’ve seen his confidence and ability sky rocket and the complexity of the problems he’s now approaching are far in excess of what he was capable of last December. Throughout the process Anne has kept my son and I updated and informed, steered his independent learning to key areas he needed to strengthen and allowed him to shoot for a much higher target than - by his own admission - he ever expected to be capable of. My daughter has gained confidence in Maths since starting tutoring in Maths with Rutherford Tutoring. Anne always provides clear feedback and goals, excellent communication. My two boys have both been taught by Peter and Franny. The weekly hub lessons really improved their confidence and gave them tactics for tackling questions. The mocks over the summer were great to get used to the exam format and made the real exam day much less daunting. Both passed. I highly recommend Kingsbury Education, Pete & Franny are so welcoming and friendly, they know exactly what they are doing, helping children with their confidence, welcoming any questions and always there to support parents too. We couldn’t be more grateful to Pete and Franny for their exceptional support in helping our son prepare for the 11+ exam. He began attending their weekly hubs in the September of Year 5 and also participated in their mock tests and intensive coaching sessions during the holidays. Pete and Franny make a fantastic team, and from the very first session, our son was fully engaged and found the lessons both interesting and enjoyable. As parents, having their expertise was incredibly reassuring. They not only helped our son learn a huge amount—leading to a high score on the exam—but also put him in an excellent position for Year 6. His confidence has grown enormously, and we’ve seen him flourish academically and emotionally throughout this process. The entire experience was overwhelmingly positive. Pete and Franny were there for our son and our family every step of the way, providing emotional support as well as academic guidance. We are very happy with the tuition our daughter got from Richard last year. His lessons are tailored to every child's need; increasing in difficulty as the child progresses. Richard will spend extra time with a particular child if he/she needs extra help. Towards the end, the homework our daughter would get from Richard got harder, therefore our daughter found grammar school test not as hard and passed it easily. When our other daughter and son are old enough, we would happily send them to Richard for extra tuition. Linda and Alfred.

Jane tutored my Daughters when they needed extra support in Maths/English and 11+ tutoring, they loved visiting her each week and enjoyed the varied sessions. Jane has tutored 2 of my children for the 11+ grammar school exams and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Both of my children lacked confidence in their ability and Jane made the lessons fun and something they both looked forward to. When it came to the exams both children were excited to be able to show what they could achieve - she taught them how to cope with the pressure, exam techniques as well as helping to strengthen their ability in math and english - both sailed through the 11+ and have continued to do well after such a fantastic grounding. Jane tutored both my sons from years 4-6 and I would highly recommend her. She is calm, professional & organised and excelled in developing the boys’ confidence. I cannot thank Jane enough for all the help with maths she has given my daughter over quite a few years now . Jane is the only person who has the ability to make maths understandable, particularly for those children who struggle to make any sense of it . Cate is an excellent teacher for adults: patient, unpatronising, lively and witty. I have been having Spanish lessons with her for a few months and have made remarkable progress considering I started from scratch. The material she provides and way we are progressing is just right for an adult learner who comes at the learning in fits and bursts. As well as being erudite and a born linguist, Cate has a talent for meeting your needs with understanding and teaching pragmatic day-to-day constructions rather than school-book language. I'd wholeheartedly recommend her if you are an adult wishing to pick up or polish your French or Spanish. We also laugh a lot!

Cate has been fantastic with my daughter. Following on from Covid, she was very behind and not working at ARE in both Maths and English, she was working towards. A year later, she is now working AT ARE & is at the same level as the rest of her class. Not only that but she has gained so much confidence & isn't always looking for help without trying first. We approached Jurassic Coast Tutors for extra support as my daughter approached GCSE’s focussing on English Language. We were matched with Tracy who was able to provide 1:1 support, in our home. Sessions were planned around our daughters needs and our budget. Payments was easy and automatic. I cannot recommend Tracy and Jurassic Cost tutors enough. Alison at Jurassic Coast Tutoring was just brilliant. It was a last minute request for tutoring only 10 weeks before her exams and Alison managed to fit my daughter in at a suitable time. Alison made my daughter feel at ease, checked in on her prior to each lesson, provided suitable and relevant materials for her to practice throughout the week (as requested by me!) and my Daughter passed! My 16 year old had missed 6 months of year 10 and was struggling in the run up to his GCSE's, with no extra support available. We engaged Alison (Maths) and Tracy (English Literature) at a very late stage for online tutoring, following a recommendation by a friend. They were both excellent and my son engaged really well with his weekly sessions. He was able to catch up on topics that he had missed and his confidence increased no end. Excellent support to my daughter who recently sat for OCR AL computer science examinations.
