My daughter has just finished her GCSE exams. She had maths tuition with Matt from February to the final paper last week. Due to weekly tuition with Matt we saw a considerable improvement in her overall ability, with a grade increase for her mocks in March. Matt makes his students feel relaxed about getting things wrong, does not pressure them and gets the best out of them. My daughter actually enjoyed the sessions, which is a first for her math's journey. Thank you Matt! I do not hesitate to recommend Matt to anybody looking for a Maths Tutor for their children.

I can’t recommend Matt more highly. We signed up for maths tutoring with Matt fairly late in the year, with only about 6 weeks until the exams were to begin; mainly because our son was really struggling with confidence about his maths. The pressure to pass was making revision seem totally overwhelming. Matt was such a fantastic tutor. Not only did he help to make sense of the areas of maths which were a struggle, but he also subtly coached our son to have a positive mindset. Having been hugely reluctant to begin his tutoring, he very quickly looked forward to the sessions and came away like a different person - much less stressed, and confident to tackle his exams. Gemma has been working with our 10YO ahead of her 11 plus. Our daughter struggles with holding her attention on tasks and is a little dyspraxic. This detracts from her innate intelligence when learning in a traditional sense. Gemma has devised innovative, interesting and often novel ways to engage her in learning the more difficult subject areas, and irrespective of outcome at the 11+ I'm confident that we chose the best way to maximize her potential.

Maths GCSE Chess Physics We had been struggling with our year 6 son for a couple of years as he has a natural aptitude for mathematics and was not getting any challenge from school and disengaging. I contacted Anne around 6 months before the GCSE exams. Anne gladly accommodated my twin daughters together in one session and nearer to exam time, at our request, individually. Both my girls lacked confidence in Maths and needed a boost to help improve their borderline grades. Christoph has been helping my twins since September 2023, after trying an online maths tutor that would frequently cancel at short notice. Its great to have lessons and conversations with a native German speaker. The German study group is great fun and a lovely relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in which to learn from Christoph and the other members. I also have a private lesson to work on my speaking and listening skills. Its certainly helps when I visit Germany. Christoph are Gaby are great hosts for their German breakfast gatherings which I highly recommend.

Amelia has been helping me prepare for university Maths for the past year and a half. She has been extremely helpful in teaching me so much that my school never taught and my understanding of Maths is at a significantly higher level because of it. Very good tuition - Divina takes a lot of trouble to prepare interesting and lively lessons for the class and is always attentive to any individual who needs a bit of extra help. Her manner is excellent - she encourages everyone to participate in discussions, gently correcting and helping students to express themselves. In this way she helps every student to gain confidence and achieve their aims. She is an excellent teacher, in my opinion.

My daughter attended the 11+ tutoring in year5, from the first day she loved the sessions. I must say that booking mock tests and study sessions with Kingsbury education to help my daughter pass the 11+ was one of the best investments I’ve ever made. Hi my name is Alannah and I've just passed the 11+ exam for BSG. Pete and Franny made the lessons fun and interesting, always telling stories to help with our understanding. I had no nerves on the day and even enjoyed the exam (sort of!).

The 11 plus mocks are great preparation and provide detailed feedback which allows you to focus on your child's weak areas. The 11 plus intensive coaching sessions are great as they can drill down into trickier areas and provide further helpful tips. All of these sessions, together with the work you do at home will help your child to achieve the best score they can. I cannot recommend them enough!
