Beautiful joinery and workmanship

Alex has done lots of different jobs for us including fitting a kitchen and utility, fitted wardrobes, a bootroom, an understairs cupboard and a few smaller jobs along the way. His attention to detail is amazing and we wouldn't hesitate to ask him to come back for any work we need in the future.

Alex has carried out two bespoke hand painted kitchens for us and from initial design to completion he is helpful and professional and provides a top class finish. Also has done some other cupboard units (hallway, dining room, study) of equal excellent quality. Highly recommended

I've been really impressed with the work Alexander did on our house during its recent renovation. He expertly fitted out a high end kitchen and did several other bespoke jobs including a fantastic set of cupboards. He is in high demand which is quite understandable, but has been very accommodating around other trades. He also is refreshingly polite to communicate with. I would thoroughly recommend.

Kings Stag Joinery has replaced a rotted panelled back door frame and sill and a frame and sill to the garage side door. The purpose-made back door and frame is in sapele hardwood, full spray painted finish and fitting with high security multi point locking system - An excellent job! Rod Mansell FRICS (Ret'd)

Recommended to us by our builder, Kings Stag joinery understood the requirement for quality replacement windows made to a traditional design but with the features of modern technology embedded with the design - and they certainly achieved the aim. They proposed several different design options which allowed us to select the most suitable for our house. The fit and finish of the windows is exemplary. Very pleased with the result.

Over the past 5 years Tony and sons have painted the interior of two farm cottages as well as our kitchen. Fast and professional, they leave the area clean and tidy, the paintwork looks lovely and historic damage to walls invisibly filled. We thoroughly recommend.

Tony and his son painted our exterior rendering, soffits and fascias, and all our wooden window frames last autumn. He was easy to get hold of and the quote was competitive. The completed work was of a high standard, he turned up when expected and billing and payment were smooth. I would recommend Tony and will use him for interior painting in the future.

I approached Tony for a quote for some painting and decorating work in August last year. Tony responded quickly and provided a comprehensive and detailed costing for the work which was accepted and we agreed on a provisional start date for the work which was anticipated would take about two weeks. We knew the work would entail quite a bit of upheaval as it was for redecoration of our hall, stairs and landing, two bedrooms, bathroom and ground floor cloakroom. Tony approached the work in a very measured way working round us with the minimum amount of disruption possible and worked in a tidy, well ordered way. Access to some areas was not the easiest and Tony went the extra mile to accommodate access for our electrician to complete some work. He also had a good eye for detail and made sure everything was completed to a very good standard and checked with us every day to make sure we were happy with what he had done. The work was completed on schedule at the agreed price and we will certainly be using Tony again for our painting and decorating needs.

Tony has done work for us for around 17 years and has been unfailingly reliable, efficient and cheerful. His decorating work is excellent - he is a hard worker who pays attention to detail and does a very professional job. His sons have thankfully inherited Tony's skills and work ethic and they make a fantastic team who are a pleasure to have around the place.

Matt is one of the best, experienced carpenter's I've worked along side. Genuine and clued up on all aspects of carpentry.

We have used Archer Carpentry for roof line changes and to fit our Handmade Kitchens of Christchurch kitchen. On both occasions Matt and his team were polite, on time, well organised and very quick and tidy. If there were any unexpected glitches Matt found a solution and fixed it without drama. I felt they were very fairly priced, honest and great people to work with. I would absolutely recommend Archer Carpentry and would definitely use them again.
