Broadoak Joinery recently made me a new timber front door to match as near as possible to my old 1930s front door. The whole experience from start to finish was a good one. The door they made was excellent and they also did a really good job of fitting it. I've used other joinery's in the past and I honestly don't think you could find a better one than this one. I highly recommended them.

We recently had two windows replaced in our listed cottage. Broad Oak did a fantastic job, on time and without mess . Coul not recommended them more highly.

JMT completed renovating our kitchen 5 weeks ago. This included removal of internal wall between old kitchen and dining room and blocking up the old external kitchen door. All work (kitchen installation, plumbing, electrics, plastering, flooring, decorating) was completed on time and on budget. We aren't builders and have never done anything like this before. From our initial queries to the final building control sign off Jody was approachable as and when required. The whole team were experienced in their professions and we haven't got any complaints about their workmanship. We would definitely recommend Jody and his team.

We had Jody and his team do a knock-through and extension at the rear of our house. We designed the project and planned for parts of it to be done by my husband, which Jody was able to accommodate really easily, working well with my husband and fitting in with our time scale. They were so easy to work with. The whole team were friendly and professional throughout. Jody's communication was great, he was always happy to answer questions and responded promptly. My husband is a joiner and he was very impressed with all the carpentry. It was very rainy (wettest February on record!) but that didn't stop them; the team worked really hard and still achieved everything on time and in budget. We were so impressed with the rate of progress and many of our neighbours kept saying how well they were getting on despite the conditions! We are really happy with the result and now have a lovely large kitchen diner for our whole family to enjoy. We would highly recommend JMT Wood Build to anyone. Jody and team completed my ground floor extension at the end of last year - wow! I’m delighted with my new space and can’t fault the workmanship and professionalism throughout the whole project. I had a kitchen extension with a new kitchen and snug area and a utility and cloakroom. All the trades were co-ordinated seamlessly, the work completed to a very high standard on time and to budget with some extras during the works which were added on. Jody is meticulous in his oversight and inspection of the works and the whole team take real pride in what they do. Advice about layout/fittings and tiling was great. A brilliant experience- I can highly recommend!

Szilard has done a fantastic job building us some cabinets and matching in some shelves. We love them! He always asked what we preferred when there were options, was super tidy and professional. A really high standard of work and a really nice chap. Would definitely ask him to do any further work and would highly recommend him to others.

Szilard built the bedroom fitted-wardrobe for us. His carpentry work is excellent. The finished product was absolutely perfect. He is very professional and also patient with our request. Communication was also prompt and polite. He tidied up the space himself after work. I highly recommend him to others and I would ask him again if I want to change anything in our house in the future.

Szilard really cares about his work. I've had plenty of tradespeople who come in and know what they want to do and what's easiest for them but Szilard went out of his way to make sure that my shelves were how I wanted them even if it made life more challenging for him. He's prompt, tidy and a generally nice bloke.

Seal has just build in two wardrobes for us. Our house has no straight walls, floors or ceilings it turns out so it wasn't a straightforward job. Seal has made a beautiful job of the wardrobes - I couldn't be happier with them - they are a joy. Seal was so considerate and tidy and I had total trust in him throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or use him again.

Ben created a bespoke extractor hood surround for us - we had a fantastic experience working with him from start to finish. He was very considerate in his approach, and delivered exactly what we wanted quickly and at a fair price.

Ben was fantastic. We sent a rough drawing of the bookcase we wanted and photos of the room, Ben came round to take measurements and sent through a quote within a few days. Ben was incredibly respectful of our home and despite the type of work, at the end of every day the room was very clean and tidy. The job took at few days and the craftsmanship/precision was perfect. The outcome is better than we had hoped and we receive compliments anytime anyone new comes to visit.

What can I say, Ben is breath of fresh air in the construction industry. Having been let down by others and on a critical timeline to complete my project I found Bens details and contacted him as he was local & explained the situation. Ben said he would look at what he could to help and juggle his workload and would get back to me later that day & he actually did! Agreed a date, agreed a price. He turned up on the agreed day and even had the decency to call and say he was running a little late. He came in did the work to a fantastic standard, worked flat out, cleaned up after himself & was polite & professional at all times. We are so happy with our bespoke chimney breast that Ben built for us. He knew exactly what we wanted and he really delivered. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He sourced the materials so that we could have the rustic look we wanted and the results are amazing. I would definitely recommend Ben. In fact, we have more jobs lined up for him.

Maurice and his team are highly skilled professionals. They are a pleasure to work with and do their work to a very high standard. They are multi skilled and talented people. I think they charge fair prices too. They restored a large wooden balcony at our home. They were very careful and clever about how they undertook this challenging project. Preserving what didn't need replacing and carefully replacing what was needed. The result is perfect, just like when it was originally built. I would happily recommend them and would definitely work with them again.

Maurice & Tom did a stellar job of making me a belt & braces shed from scratch! Maurice got me a quote put together very quickly and helped me value engineer (due to prices of materials being crazy) the design and was still able to provide me with an extremely sturdy shed, 10X better than the off the shelf shed direct flat pack paper thin sheds. Maurice was attentive to what I required from the shed and recommended the use of breathable roofing felt to allow the moisture in the air to escape and stay out also, as I needed to manage the moisture levels for what I am storing. Very friendly, polite & profeessional. Would recommend to anyone

We have used Archer Carpentry for roof line changes and to fit our Handmade Kitchens of Christchurch kitchen. On both occasions Matt and his team were polite, on time, well organised and very quick and tidy. If there were any unexpected glitches Matt found a solution and fixed it without drama.
