Stefan built a bespoke bench seat with storage plus a concealed fixings shelf above. Very happy with end result. Stefan turned my specific ideas into what is a very well made and practical seating unit. He came up with brilliant ideas and solutions and I would thoroughly recommend him if you want a quality piece of fitted furniture for your home. I will use him again for further projects. Cannot recommend MJP carpentry enough! They fitted our Wren kitchen for us Feb-March time and honestly did the most amazing job! They made my vision come to light! Michael and the team were super helpful. The project was to build a self assembly garden shed/office, but to be honest I had not anticipated how much work would be needed. Nevertheless, Michael and the team cracked on, and guided me through any snags that presented themselves - suggesting the appropriate options and working to get the project done to a great standard.

Mike replaced all of our internal doors for us. He came out to check the doors and advised on the best options. After arranging an install date, Mike checked in again just to be sure we were still ok ahead of the arranged date. Him and his team arrived on time, were always polite, friendly and professional, and they tidied up beautifully after they'd finished. We cannot fault Mike's work - our new doors have transformed the house! I wouldn't hesitate to hire Mike again, or recommend him to friends and family. Thank you again!

I asked James to build me a bookcase and I have been blown away with James’s professionalism, attention to detail, communication and care. He completely understood what I was looking for and suggested oak, which is absolutely perfect in the setting. His timeframe was realistic, he was flexible and his time keeping spot on. He shared his passion for his craft, all of which I was able to follow on Instagram, seeing the whole thing coming together in his workshop before it was expertly fitted in my home. James is a friendly and engaging craftsman whose workmanship and pride in his work is evident. It was a pleasure to work with James. Would I recommend him? It’s a BIG YES from me.

Bespoke built in wardrobe 5* Recently moved house and our bedroom was only suitable for a bespoke built in wardrobe due to its odd shape. We contacted several large companies who really couldn’t get to grips with our bespoke idea & wanted us to change our minds! We were recommended James via word of mouth as he was local and we got him round to have a look. He was very good with explaining how things would go and expertly measured up. He listened to what we wanted, added his own ideas and advice but nothing was a problem and he designed & quoted exactly what we asked for. His prices were competitive and he ensured we had a final price with no hidden extras or surprises. James used quality materials and discussed all fittings and fixtures with us before purchase. The finish of the wardrobe is outstanding, little details such as the edging on the doors really makes his work special. He turned up daily on time. Worked in all weather conditions, was incredibly polite, friendly and probably the cleanest tradesman we have used. We 100% will be using James again in the near future when replacing our kitchen!

I have been following James for a while and was always really impressed with the carpentry work he was doing so I asked if he would provide my customer with some built in wardrobe doors for there boot room before I was to spary them, James turned up when promised and me and my customer were really impressed with his knowledge and the way James went about measuring the space and talking through the job in hand, well the end product speaks for itself, you would think they have come out a factory there that good. James made a new sash window, window frame and ledge for us. He kept us informed of progress at all times. From his photos it was good to see our window taking shape. On installation it fitted perfectly and we are extremely pleased with the end result. Well done James. We will certainly use him again and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Paul replaced two rotten window cills in out downstairs. Everything was done well and to time and there were no issues. Price is good and work is good. Efficient and accurate and timely. Good job, well done.

I asked Paul to deal with a number of jobs, including repairs to timber sash windows, boarding over an outside doorway, and repairing fencing. I am very pleased with the results. Paul is a lovely man. He always arrived on time and left everything tidy. Price was reasonable too. Highly recommend.

BM Carpentry and Building did some work do or me recently (Sept 2023) at my house, to repair and replace some rotten woodwork around my French door and adjacent windows. Brett and Wes did a great job. They came out and discussed it in detail with me first, then subsequently came out and completed the job in a single day. The work done was of good quality, at a fair price and they left things clean and tidy. I had used their services previously once before, a couple of years ago on a bigger job when I was having my house re-roofed and had the same very positive experience then. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend BM Carpentry and Building!

BM Carpentry and Building recently reconstructed our kitchen, dining room and hallway into a modern spacious kitchen diner, including replacing double glazed rear door and two windows. We are very pleased with the finished spacious room. BM Carpentry and Building employed supporting specialist tradesmen who were also very professional. Mitchell O'born Carpentry did a fantastic job. Fitting very heavy doors upto 50kg with precison lining up the new to old hinge cutouts. 11 doors fitted in total all matching designs but varying in size and weight. He was extremely helpful in the consultation phase and I found him to be very trustworthy, polite and very clean. I'd like to point out his level of craft is top "notch" highly recommended.
