Aaron did a brilliant job of replacing our old internal doors. He was a pleasure to deal with, thoroughly professional and helpful, and his work was faultless. We are delighted with our new doors, which are much commented on by friends and family, and we'd have no problem recommending his work or using him again in the future.

From start to finish, Aaron and Nick did the most amazing job replacing our staircase. With an eye for detail, it was reassuring to know that a challenging project was in safe hands. Punctual and reliable, they left the house spotlessly clean every day. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I've recently had two sets of built-in wardrobes done by Aaron (AJ), and he has been excellent from capturing my requirements to delivering the final product. AJ kept me posted with timelines, prices, materials and more and has never once declined a phone call from me asking yet another stupid question! The final product was absolutely fantastic and I am very glad I went with him after receiving another competitive quote. I will absolutely be using him again and referring him to friends and family to utilise his services.

Sam did a great job installing fitted floating shelves in alcoves as well as a mantel piece. He was flexible on timings and was happy to discuss what we wanted until we were happy. Only a 4 because of a miscommunication which meant the shelves ended up in a slightly different place to expected and the finish/varnish needed neatening after he'd finished. The actual woodwork was brilliant, and the whole project was a good price.

We had wanted our rather dull staircase, bannisters and under stairs cupboard changed for years, but we'd always been put off by the high prices of the 'stair renovations specialists'. I found details of SJT Carpentry and Joinery on-line and I was very impressed by their feedback and photos. Got a quote and some ideas from Sam and was pleasantly surprised by both the price and his suggestions. Now having had the work done I am really pleased with the end result, wish we'd found Sam earlier. Sam arrived on time, kept me informed of what was happening and made very sensible suggestions. Really impressed with his workmanship. Hope to use him again on another project in the near future.

I initially thought this would be a really complicated project to replace a stair case, but Sam handled the whole project efficiently and professionally. I would highly recommend him and couldn't have asked for the result to be any better! Please see some before and after images of the stairs.

Sam fitted out a large workshop unit for me with wall panels, and he built a new office with stud walls, windows and a new door. His work is excellent and he obviously enjoys detailed carpentry and joinery. Sam is very skilled and knows how to best approach a job to get it done right and within budget. Sam was on time every day and was always prepared with the right materials and tools for the job. He is a quick worker and always willing to provide guidance and advice. We need 5 doors replaced and a new doorway created. Paul removed old the old doors and replaced them with new oak doors. Also created a new door way for the new door and did some repairs to the cabin in our garden. He was always very friendly and helpful throughout with suggestion to overcome some unforeseen problems. Paul replaced two rotten window cills in out downstairs. Everything was done well and to time and there were no issues. Price is good and work is good. Efficient and accurate and timely. Good job, well done.

Brett and Wes recently completed an extension on our home. They were precessional, reliable and extremely trustworthy. It was a pleasure to have them working in our home. The quality of their work is always to an exceptionally high standard. They made the whole renovation process stress free for us. We have used them in the past and will 100% use them in the future for the rest of our renovation work.

BM carpentry and building carried out our loft conversion and we really couldn’t be happier. The entire project - from initial conversations - until the final completion was so professional and the end result is perfect. Brett communicated clearly with us at each step and was very patient when explaining what needed to be done at each stage and what we should expect. We felt Brett really cared about our views and whether we were happy and he was fully committed to completing in the time frame he had laid out for us. We had great trust in Brett and his team and have used the company a few times for building or carpentry work and are planning on using them again.

BM Carpentry and Building recently reconstructed our kitchen, dining room and hallway into a modern spacious kitchen diner, including replacing double glazed rear door and two windows. We are very pleased with the finished spacious room. BM Carpentry and Building employed supporting specialist tradesmen who were also very professional. As a result of the great experience, we are having fury work by them. We would highly recommend them.

Brett built a bespoke pottery studio for us and we are really pleased. It was a slightly awkward space but he understood what we wanted and gave us the best design and quote. Lewis advised and replaced the bannisters on our stairs. He did a great job and was polite and courteous. I will be using his services again…. And I did, this time to replace all our internal doors with oak ones. Craig and Garath did an amazing job; they were really friendly and polite and left no mess.

The experience from start to finish has been fantastic! I was given a really reasonable quote, and though additional costs were added (due to extra work which needed to be carried out) these were also really reasonably priced and I was kept well informed about it before the work was carried out. I'd also discovered what can only be described as a nightmare of hidden pipework under the old larder (before work was due to be carried out), and though my own worries about this caused delays with the work starting, Lewis was really supportive in addressing this and was really quick to respond to all of my concerns. Garath fitted my new cabinets, moved my extractor fan/boxing, replaced my windowsill and also worked on a few extra areas in the kitchen and I'm honestly impressed with how good it all looks! All his work has been topnotch and throughout the process he was always polite and took the trouble to answer any questions I had. Work was also finished really quickly which was a bonus! My thanks to you both - can't recommend highly enough!

Alex fitted a new lock to my door. He also cut and fitted smoke safety strips and a new letterbox. I booked this with Nigel. They both turned up and were polite and punctual. The work was carried out to a high standard in about 90 minutes. I found it difficult to find someone willing to do these tasks but Nigel and Alex were willing to. I strongly recommend them
