Darren fitted a front door for us. Communication was fab and he came to quote for the job quickly. He gave us a good price and we booked him to do it. He has done a great job, it looks great and works perfectly He left no mess too . We will 100% recommend him.

Darren came to fix a bedroom door that wouldn’t shut properly, he fixed it quickly and with ease. After this I have had him back to fit a bike rack and hose on the wall. He always arrives when he says and cleans up afterwards. I will definitely have him back for more jobs on my list.

Jay stepped into the breach and supplied and fitted our new fire door and uprated the intumescent strip on another in our buy-to-let student house. He also sorted out both door closers, which didn't work properly. This enabled him to certificate both doors and we now have our new registration. A truly excellent service all round.

George and Team at Sapphire Carpentry and Building Ltd were amazing. They carried out the assembly of my media wall with minimal fuss and absolutely perfectly finishing ahead of time. They also completed another bigger project involving a garage conversion into an 2nd living room/ home office and designed it to perfection. We wanted custom made bookcases in our alcoves in our living room. We had many quotes in January 23, we settled on a company. Unfortunately they let us down 3 times. At this point we were stressed due the other company taking a large deposit and taking a while to return it. So we decided to find someone else .In August we searched for new quotes from companies. George contacted us straight away. He knew exactly what we were after and designed it. Answered all of my many question. He said as our project would take only 1-2 days he would try and squeeze us in as we had been waiting so long. He got us in for only a few weeks later which was incredibly kind as the delay was no fault of his. He worked incredibly hard asking if I was happy as he was doing the project, he took input if i had ideas along the way. The quality is amazing. Its exactly what we wanted. George is so hard working, we will be using him again for our other project in the house. He very reasonably priced which is an added bonus. I Highley recommend George and his company. So pleased I made a call to ‘Little Island carpentry’ last year. I hadn’t even looked at the website but I liked the company name….good enough reason! We soon found out that Ross is extremely personable and his work is immaculate. He takes such pride in doing things well and our hall cupboard looked really smart & tidy after he had installed shelving and built housing around the electric meter & fuse box. Recently he went above and beyond when asked to install new kitchen cupboard doors for us….We thought the carcasses would be ok as the apartment is fairly new. However it turned out they were all out of alignment due to initial poor installation. Many others may have covered this up…but not Ross…thankfully! He set to making everything right before fixing the new doors and now we have a brand new kitchen - it’s perfect in every way. Ross never complains and always looks for solutions. His knowledge and commitment to his work is outstanding He is also a genuinely nice person and I cannot recommend him highly enough - you won’t be disappointed.

I was looking to book a benchmarking experience to do with my siblings and dad for his 70th. I couldn’t find anyone who offered this but after messaging a lot of paces, Ross was the only one who replied saying he would be very happy to help do this for us. Ross was incredibly helpful in organising this experience from the designs to the selection of wood and being so accommodating to the dates that worked for us. We did it over a weekend under his fantastic supervision and help who had everything planned out for us! I couldn’t recommend this any more. A brilliant experience, incredibly fun and came out of it with a beautiful bench.

I used Westcott Construction for the second time during my renovations on bungalow. Okay, this is 'just' a domestic sized job, but for me I had two Velfac patio/sliding doors installations to do and was a big project for me. As mentioned before I used Westcott on a previous two door installation and had no hesitation to ask them to do my latest installation. I found Gina very helpful during the time of 'fitting' my job in and around larger jobs Westcott were involved with.. I believe in talking to whoever you are dealing with to 'get things right' just in case we missed anything and it works with these guys. The installers were on time and very thorough in ensuring the doors worked as Velfac would expect (and me of course).. Thanks to all.

Very professional from start to finish. Our windows install has just completed and were very happy with work done by Westcott Construction. The attention to detail and care taken was exceptional. Several very large/heavy windows were installed and they are millimetre perfect. The Westcott employees take a real sense of pride in their work. Would recommend without reservation.

We have just recently finished a large project and the Westcott Team fitted Velfac windows for us . As usual they did a good job , polite craftsmen. They have done a few installations for us over the past years and they have done a good efficient job. If using them for windows you do need to ensure that you read the quote as you have a number of things to do to be ready for when they come to them to fit. We will use them again .

Having worked with Westcott construction alot over the last 3 years I have to say it's rare to find a company that strives for high end craftsmanship in all the jobs they undertake. Both Westcott's Velfac and construction teams are polite and professional tradesmen who seek perfection in every aspect of the job, being in either the work side or the relationship with their customers. I am thrilled with the work Darren has completed for me. He did numerous jobs including making made a new wooden front door for me and it's frame. He made the door and painted it beautifully. He made good the walls around the frame too. He worked really hard and was patient when I kept adding to his list of things to do! He is extremely talented and a pleasure to have around the house! I can thoroughly recommend his work.

Darren built some bespoke fitted wardrobes and shelving. Darren offered up a lot of advice prior to the build and came up with some good ideas. He turned up on time, worked hard, cleaned up every day and was a pleasure to have on site. I would recommend Darren, and will certainly use him again when we need some more carpentry done. We are very pleased with the wardrobes and shelves.

Darren is extremely talented. He transformed our lounge by constructing a stud wall to create a false chimney breast, then built a bespoke fire surround and built in cabinets, either side. In addition to this he built a hexagonal windowsill, to perfectly fit our recently built out bay window. We were delighted with the standard of his work and his professionalism.

Ugly duckling now a beautiful Swan thanks to Darren. Even our difficult house style and girder build did not phase him. Pure quality and highly professional finish throught out. Always left the site clean and appraised us of work to date and next phase. Don't think you'll get a better wood expert that can beat his quality of work.
