We contracted Ian and his team to take down a supporting wall in the existing kitchen and fit a new kitchen. Ian and his team were great to work with, managed the project efficiently with great communication and the work was done to a very high standard and on time. Mark came and refurbished our banister. When he came to assess the job he discussed style and materials with us to ensure he knew what we envisaged for our home. We agreed a date for the work. He let us know traffic was making him a few minutes late arriving. He coped magnificently with the uneven wall and woodwork which the house builder had left us. The resulting job looks very good. He put down covers and cleaned up after working. We would definitely recommend Mark.

Mark came to refurb our staircase and has done an excellent job! Took care and tried to work us as we have toddler who naps. Explained the job as he went along and cleaned up along the way. I would highly recommend Mark!

Booked Mark to fit 4 internal doors after he did such a great job fitting a kitchen worktop for us. Mark arrived on the day agreed, on time. Measured the individual frames (all different sizes!), removed the old doors, cut the doors to size, fitted the door handles & added an additional hinge for each door. During his visit, Mark was friendly, professional & tidied up after he'd finished the job. He cut the old doors in half to make it easier for me to dispose of them. And he took away some wood that needed to be edged / bevelled as he didn't have the tools woth him and returned it a couple of days later which I will be making into a table. New doors look great (still need to be painted though) & fit perfectly. Another great job by Mark. Again, woud happily recommend Mark for your woodwork needs. Thanks Mark.

I've recently had two sets of built-in wardrobes done by Aaron (AJ), and he has been excellent from capturing my requirements to delivering the final product. AJ kept me posted with timelines, prices, materials and more and has never once declined a phone call from me asking yet another stupid question! The final product was absolutely fantastic and I am very glad I went with him after receiving another competitive quote. I will absolutely be using him again and referring him to friends and family to utilise his services.

I’ve had Dan work on 3 separate carpentry projects, all of which he has completed beautifully. Each one was bespoke to a design that mostly existed in my head. Given the age and lack of right angles and level ceilings and floors, he’s had had to work miracles. I can’t rate him highly enough.

Excellent craftsmanship! Dan at Wills & Co exceeded our expectations in designing our bespoke living room shaker style alcove cabinets and floating shelving tailored to our requirements. Dan was able to firstly lay the new golden smoked oak wood flooring finished with beading running along the skirting boards which compliments our new column radiator & newly fitted plantation shutters. We wouldn't hesitate to use Will's & Co again again and we've already booked future work for our hallway to match. The quality of work carried out here speaks volumes added by all the complements we've had from guests visiting recently. 10/10

Daniel hand built a large pergola for us. The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic. Daniel came out to view the area and designed the pergola that we wanted. Quoted for the works and sent us through detailed drawings to confirm what we wanted. He arrived on time worked methodically, keeping us informed at every stage. He worked in a very tidy manner, cleaning up as he went along and at the end of each day. Daniel has carried out work for us in the past, installing several internal doors. I would highly recommend Daniel for any interior or external workings.

I have been using Lewis and the Team for some time now, the quality of workmanship is excellent, Lewis consistently goes out of his way to make sure we are looked after and Gareth and Craig are great guys, I would highly recommend.

The experience from start to finish has been fantastic! I was given a really reasonable quote, and though additional costs were added (due to extra work which needed to be carried out) these were also really reasonably priced and I was kept well informed about it before the work was carried out. I'd also discovered what can only be described as a nightmare of hidden pipework under the old larder (before work was due to be carried out), and though my own worries about this caused delays with the work starting, Lewis was really supportive in addressing this and was really quick to respond to all of my concerns. Garath fitted my new cabinets, moved my extractor fan/boxing, replaced my windowsill and also worked on a few extra areas in the kitchen and I'm honestly impressed with how good it all looks! All his work has been topnotch and throughout the process he was always polite and took the trouble to answer any questions I had. Work was also finished really quickly which was a bonus! My thanks to you both - can't recommend highly enough!

Lewis advised and replaced the bannisters on our stairs. He did a great job and was polite and courteous. I will be using his services again…. And I did, this time to replace all our internal doors with oak ones. Craig and Garath did an amazing job; they were really friendly and polite and left no mess.

Updating my review following a second job completed by Pete and Andy - excellent job again, and can thoroughly recommend - the work that they do is of the highest quality, but they are also very good post-completion at coming back for any snagging - have always felt everything is well communicated and have stuck to quoted prices. No hesitation in recommending and would certainly use them again.

Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. That's pretty vital when they are going to spend months on your project! They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation! For your interest I attach before, during and after photos of their work here in Chandler's Ford We would not hesitate to recommend them.

A few friends of ours recommended Bassett Carpentry for our kitchen extension. We couldn’t be happier with the work and would recommend them to anyone else. Our extension was not straight forward but Andy & Pete were so easy to deal with. They were honest and upfront with costs, and kept to the agreed price plans. Their team who completed the electrics and plumbing were also superb. We were very nervous as this was our first project, but Bassett Carpentry exceeded all expectations and did the perfect job. As important was their pleasantness in working with. They are very courteous, great communication, and any problems were listened to carefully and a sensible solution found. Our project was quite large (dormer L-shape loft conversion, complete reroof, chimney repoint, 2 new bathrooms and fitted cupboards and wardrobes). Their workmanship is of a very high standard and we strongly recommend them.
