Mike replaced all of our internal doors for us. He came out to check the doors and advised on the best options. After arranging an install date, Mike checked in again just to be sure we were still ok ahead of the arranged date. Him and his team arrived on time, were always polite, friendly and professional, and they tidied up beautifully after they'd finished. We cannot fault Mike's work - our new doors have transformed the house! I wouldn't hesitate to hire Mike again, or recommend him to friends and family. Thank you again!

Michael and the team were super helpful. The project was to build a self assembly garden shed/office, but to be honest I had not anticipated how much work would be needed. Nevertheless, Michael and the team cracked on, and guided me through any snags that presented themselves - suggesting the appropriate options and working to get the project done to a great standard.

Kevin of Hook Carpentry has done two items of work for us, The first was to change an opening door into a sliding door which he did very efficiently and quickly. The second job Kevin did was to build fitted wardrobes in our second bedroom from scratch. It was a long run and included hanging space and shelf space. Kevin was very professional and guided us to make the right decisions and we are delighted with the end result. He was a very clean and tidy worker and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Kevin spent 3 days installing laminate flooring in my lounge, dining room and hall. Excellent job done transformed the downstairs. So happy I've asked him to do the upstairs now. Hard working and professional and friendly, I would recommend Hook Carpentry to anyone looking for a quality job.

Excellent company. Fantastic communication from start to finish. Ed listened to what type of bar I wanted , did an initial site visit then put together detailed plans which he sent across for review. The end result was even better than I had hoped for. The finish and workmanship was excellent and Harry and the two guys who came to install were great to deal with and did a meticulous job. Mitchell O'born Carpentry did a fantastic job. Fitting very heavy doors upto 50kg with precison lining up the new to old hinge cutouts. 11 doors fitted in total all matching designs but varying in size and weight. He was extremely helpful in the consultation phase and I found him to be very trustworthy, polite and very clean. I'd like to point out his level of craft is top "notch" highly recommended.

Josh and the team did a great job of our bannister rails, they were on time, communicated well beforehand and finished the job to a high standard in one day. We would definitely recommend them and will be happy to use them again for future projects.

Updating my review following a second job completed by Pete and Andy - excellent job again, and can thoroughly recommend - the work that they do is of the highest quality, but they are also very good post-completion at coming back for any snagging - have always felt everything is well communicated and have stuck to quoted prices. No hesitation in recommending and would certainly use them again.

Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. That's pretty vital when they are going to spend months on your project! They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation! BM carpentry and building carried out our loft conversion and we really couldn’t be happier. The entire project - from initial conversations - until the final completion was so professional and the end result is perfect. Brett communicated clearly with us at each step and was very patient when explaining what needed to be done at each stage and what we should expect. We felt Brett really cared about our views and whether we were happy and he was fully committed to completing in the time frame he had laid out for us. BM Carpentry and Building did some work do or me recently (Sept 2023) at my house, to repair and replace some rotten woodwork around my French door and adjacent windows.
