Having started AJC Carpentry over 20 years ago we are very proud to continue to supply the best quality carpenters to the new build housing industry. Working with most major house builders we can offer long term work on price work bases throughout the South East of England, we are always on the lookout for top class carpenters and supervisors.

AJC Came to the rescue of Hartley Wintney Scouts after a break in at the Scout hut damaged the front doors beyond repair. They came out the same day to assess the damage then very generously came back and fitted us a new set of fire doors. There service is excellent and the standard of work top notch.

A great company , all the carpenters have a large knowledge about the industry .

We had some bespoke work done for understairs storage at home before Christmas. Work was of very high standard with good attention to detail. Nick is professional and friendly, works unobtrusively and always cleaned up at the end of the day.

Nick did an amazing job fitting 2 doors last year (pic1), so we had him back to fit 5 second floor doors. He overcame plenty of issues with the door frames and door handles but with perseverance he did a fantastic job. He’s very particular which is really good and does not do shabby work, he’s booked in for another job which I wouldn’t have anyone else to do. Definitely recommend 100%. 12/12/23 I’d thought I’ll add a few more comments and pictures as I’m unable to post a new review. Nick did a very good job replacing 3 doors which was a far from an easy job the frames being out of line. He also modified some new cupboards and fitted them on the wall. Super job, nice obliging chap very helpful recommended.

We had Nick build fitted wardrobes with sliding doors. He’s was extremely helpful with identifying a supplier for the doors, we chose IKEA internals which he assembled into the space we had giving us wall to wall wardrobes. He also installed the sliding doors which gave a great finish to the whole project. He also fitted some made to measure shelving in a relatively small gap which gave some additional storage. He was also very helpful getting the paint to match the IKEA colour. A separate project we intended to do ourselves but Nick correctly convinced us he would do it better, he built panelling along one wall of the bedroom which looks great. Always communicated what he was doing and very flexible if we couldn’t be in the house.

Couldn’t recommend Timber Technology more highly. We’ve commissioned the team for two projects now (fitted wardrobes and bespoke library style bookcases). The finish on both have been excellent and we have had many compliments from our friends on the quality of the work. The team are all lovely too and we would use them again.

Excellent company. Fantastic communication from start to finish. Ed listened to what type of bar I wanted , did an initial site visit then put together detailed plans which he sent across for review. The end result was even better than I had hoped for. The finish and workmanship was excellent and Harry and the two guys who came to install were great to deal with and did a meticulous job. Kevin built some shelving, a media unit and a wardrobe for us. He had great attention to detail, was very tidy and timely. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Kevin installed 14 x internal doors for us. He is meticulous in his work and his attention to detail has meant the doors have been fitted to a high standard. I would thoroughly recommend Kevin for all carpentry work and we will have him back for additional work in the future. Kevin is also a thoroughly nice chap and our dog took a particular shine to him, probably recognising his calm nature!

Kevin of Hook Carpentry has done two items of work for us, The first was to change an opening door into a sliding door which he did very efficiently and quickly. The second job Kevin did was to build fitted wardrobes in our second bedroom from scratch. It was a long run and included hanging space and shelf space. Kevin was very professional and guided us to make the right decisions and we are delighted with the end result. He was a very clean and tidy worker and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Really impressed with Latch. We had a number of internal doors fitted and 2 bespoke shelving units created for our books. Josh and team were super professional and worked quickly but carefully and were careful to minimise any disruption and tidied as they went along. Josh and the team did a great job of our bannister rails, they were on time, communicated well beforehand and finished the job to a high standard in one day. We would definitely recommend them and will be happy to use them again for future projects.

Well it’s been nearly a year since Pete and Andy and the team took on my loft conversion. I can say that their professionalism, skill and just hard work finished my project on time to the day !!! Andy and Pete consistently confirmed that we'd made the right decision when we asked them to build a single storey extension onto the back of our house and a replacement porch. They were not only highly skilled, patient, honest, trustworthy and communicative, they (and their team) were just great people to have around. That's pretty vital when they are going to spend months on your project! They used their vast experience and network to quickly resolve any challenges which arose and have left us with a life changing extension that we enjoy each and every day. The gorgeous extension is filled with light due to an apex roof housing two Velux windows and a complete wall of bifold doors with glass gable end. The Utility Room houses our white goods at a raised level for ease of use and our very swanky porch (!) is rendered as per the bottom half of the entire house. Quite a transformation! For your interest I attach before, during and after photos of their work here in Chandler's Ford We would not hesitate to recommend them.

A few friends of ours recommended Bassett Carpentry for our kitchen extension. We couldn’t be happier with the work and would recommend them to anyone else. Our extension was not straight forward but Andy & Pete were so easy to deal with. They were honest and upfront with costs, and kept to the agreed price plans. Andy and Pete, with Nick and Graham, carried out our loft conversion this year and we are so happy with their work. What we liked best was their time-keeping (they ran exactly to schedule) and costing (they ran exactly to quote, except for some extras that we requested). As important was their pleasantness in working with. They are very courteous, great communication, and any problems were listened to carefully and a sensible solution found. Our project was quite large (dormer L-shape loft conversion, complete reroof, chimney repoint, 2 new bathrooms and fitted cupboards and wardrobes). Their workmanship is of a very high standard and we strongly recommend them.

Mike replaced all of our internal doors for us. He came out to check the doors and advised on the best options. After arranging an install date, Mike checked in again just to be sure we were still ok ahead of the arranged date. Him and his team arrived on time, were always polite, friendly and professional, and they tidied up beautifully after they'd finished. We have used Aaron and his team for two projects now, the first time creating some large bespoke fitted wardrobes and the second time to fit our new Howdens kitchen. The installation of my kitchen from start to finis was carried out to a high standard. Gavin is extremely conscientious and a perfectionist. GE Carpentry provide a super service from start to finish and come highly recommended. Gavin's skills are second to none; he is a truly gifted carpenter and has very high standards. He is brilliant at design, and tailoring to the needs of his clients. Gavin has completed several jobs in my house. Most recently, he fitted new doors throughout my home; not the easiest of tasks with a mixture of imperial and metric, and not one straight frame. A fine bespoke bookcase was designed, made and fiited by Gavin. It started as an idea, he then created a wonderful bookcase of which I'm so proud, it is an awesome piece of furniture. He was professional, a clean worker and it is a fine piece of craftsman work, highly recommended.
