Kevin spent 3 days installing laminate flooring in my lounge, dining room and hall. Excellent job done transformed the downstairs. So happy I've asked him to do the upstairs now. Hard working and professional and friendly, I would recommend Hook Carpentry to anyone looking for a quality job.

Kevin installed 14 x internal doors for us. He is meticulous in his work and his attention to detail has meant the doors have been fitted to a high standard. I would thoroughly recommend Kevin for all carpentry work and we will have him back for additional work in the future. Kevin is also a thoroughly nice chap and our dog took a particular shine to him, probably recognising his calm nature!

Kevin of Hook Carpentry has done two items of work for us, The first was to change an opening door into a sliding door which he did very efficiently and quickly. The second job Kevin did was to build fitted wardrobes in our second bedroom from scratch. It was a long run and included hanging space and shelf space. Kevin was very professional and guided us to make the right decisions and we are delighted with the end result. He was a very clean and tidy worker and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Excellent company. Fantastic communication from start to finish. Ed listened to what type of bar I wanted , did an initial site visit then put together detailed plans which he sent across for review. The end result was even better than I had hoped for. The finish and workmanship was excellent and Harry and the two guys who came to install were great to deal with and did a meticulous job. BM Carpentry and Building did some work do or me recently (Sept 2023) at my house, to repair and replace some rotten woodwork around my French door and adjacent windows. Brett and Wes did a great job. They came out and discussed it in detail with me first, then subsequently came out and completed the job in a single day. The work done was of good quality, at a fair price and they left things clean and tidy. I had used their services previously once before, a couple of years ago on a bigger job when I was having my house re-roofed and had the same very positive experience then. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend BM Carpentry and Building!

BM carpentry and building carried out our loft conversion and we really couldn’t be happier. The entire project - from initial conversations - until the final completion was so professional and the end result is perfect. Brett communicated clearly with us at each step and was very patient when explaining what needed to be done at each stage and what we should expect. We felt Brett really cared about our views and whether we were happy and he was fully committed to completing in the time frame he had laid out for us. We had great trust in Brett and his team and have used the company a few times for building or carpentry work and are planning on using them again.

Brett built a bespoke pottery studio for us and we are really pleased. It was a slightly awkward space but he understood what we wanted and gave us the best design and quote. Very happy with our new gaming table, it's solid and robust (glad I opted to have the legs as removable, I don't think it would have fit through the door otherwise!). Each of the four "leaves" fit together nicely. We purchased a plastic cover to go under the table cloth to help protect any spillages from reaching the baize mat. We have had a couple of games on it already and it has the cat's approval for comfort. Communication with the company was good throughout. Would recommend for board gaming enthusiasts!

Lewis advised and replaced the bannisters on our stairs. He did a great job and was polite and courteous. I will be using his services again…. Phil and the team were professional and did an incredible job building walls for an exhibition for us. They created an invisible door as well and the finish of everything was beautiful. It was a particularly hard space to install walls in but they managed to comply with all the safety requirements and were innovative in their approach, using powerful magnets as opposed to securing the structure by drilling into the existing walls. They were also very friendly, tidy and quick to respond. We will definitely work with them again and would recommend the team highly!
