Bryan has completed two separate pieces of work for me, both to a really high quality. Firstly outside house maintenance and then a refit if my kitchen. He is a very talented craftsman, I was really impressed with his professionalism and standard of his work. He also worked well with other contractors involved and left every clean, tidy and is a really nice guy. I’d highly recommended him.

Bryan supplied and hung some internal doors for us, and did a great job. Bryan is an experienced carpenter, and a nice guy. He arrived early, worked hard, and kept the place tidy. The doors were supplied from Howdens with a base coat/ready to paint, which we did ourselves. I would recommend Bryan/Carpentry UK, not just for simple jobs like ours but for bigger projects.

I've used Bryan a number of times now. He's fitted wooden flooring through downstairs, replaced kitchen work tops and most recently fitted an oak beam above my fireplace. I can't recommend him enough. Great workmanship, great guy and has always left the place clean and tidy.. Hightly recommend!!

We contacted Bryan for the fitting of two new interior doors. After a speedy response a home visit appointment was made so I could show Bryan exactly what I needed doing. On the day of installation Bryan arrived on time and done a fantastic job on our doors, plus gave me advice on how and what to use to treat our oak doors for protection. We have four more interior doors that need replacing and i will definitely be calling Bryan again. Thanks for a very professional job.

Tony and his team were brilliant from start to finish. They created and fitted gorgeous bespoke under-stairs storage and extractor hood canopy. Great quality, great communication. Not cheap but worth it. Would highly recommend.

The alcove units exceeded all expectations, and I can honestly say they are the highlight of my house refurb. He made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. Ryan and Sean fitted some bespoke wardrobes for us in April 2025. It was a tricky space with a slanted ceiling and a window to contend with but Ryan was not phased at all and came up with a great solution. Communication at every stage was excellent and fitting day was seamless. Ryan and Sean are a dream team and a pleasure to have in your home. Will certainly be having them back for some other bespoke furniture creations!

Top quality bespoke alcove shelving unit and under-stairs drawers/cabinet. Ryan was always polite and helpful. He advised us on the design. All the construction was done offsite at his workshop. He then fitted with his colleague in a day and a half. Very happy with the attention to detail, would definitely use him again.

Ryan (and Sean) fitted two pieces of beautiful bespoke carpentry: a bookcase and multi-purpose storage cabinet (see photos - lights yet to be fitted). Needed an interior door supplied and fitted with adjustments made to the door frame. Bryan got back to me promptly, showed up on time for the job. Completed the work to a high standard and on top of that, lovely bloke. Would definitely use again.

What an incredibly positive experience. I had a great day learning how to make a Japanese toolbox. I was allowed to use so many new and different tools including a Japanese Saw ( I’m going to buy one of those). Richard was a great tutor very patient and helpful as well as being informative he showed me how to correct mistakes and kept me on the right track. His workshop has got just about every tool that you can imagine to make some amazing things. I would highly recommend booking a day to actually create something and see just what you’re capable of

My 11 year old daughter and I spent a day with Rich making a stool. We had the most wonderful day and would highly recommend it to anyone who fancies giving woodwork a try. Rich was so friendly, helpful and patient. We are complete beginners but with Rich's support and demos we did most of it ourselves using lots of tools and machines, and learnt so much. He even kindly welcomed us back for a few hours the next day to finish off as we ran out of time on the day. We are looking forward to our next project. Thank you Rich!

Richard is an extremely capable and knowledgeable carpenter, with a fantastic workshop containing all the tools you could possibly want. My wife took me along for my birthday, and I enjoyed it so much I took my Dad for his birthday. All happy campers. I'm now plotting to return and build a small staircase for my garden. I've been wanting to make a career change for a little while now, and I really liked the idea of woodworking. I spent some time with Rich making a stool just to get a feel for the process and see if it would be something I could pursue further. Rich was amazing to work with, knowledgeable, informative and generally a stand-up bloke. I've come away feeling much more hopeful that woodworking is something I can get into. Our bathroom installers uncovered a joist in our shower room which had almost rotted through thus delaying the renovation of the room. We contacted Mark who speedily came round to assess the damage and returned quickly to do an amazing job. He was punctual, extremely hardworking and speedily rectified the problem. His work was exemplary and he is conscientious and tidy. Also, we were very grateful to Tony (Mark’s dad) for his expertise in some plumbing works that needed dealing with at the same time. Mark has totally transformed our house by changing 10 doors and doorframes, all skirting and architraves as well as fitting a brand-new kitchen. All work was carried out meticulously with amazing attention to detail and fine carpentry skills. As we required a total renovation, Mark was able to give us advice and guidance regarding how to approach our project step by step from Day 1. It could be said that he was the backbone of our project with other trades (whom he has connections with) fitted in to the calendar as we moved along. As well as giving accurate time frames, he also worked very tediously and left the rooms clean as he moved throughout the house.

We used Generation Carpentry for our living room renovation. Mark and his team carried out a number of jobs, including re-plastering and painting the walls, installing new skirting boards, fixing a creaky staircase, fixing and repainting our front door and installing new cupboards and shelving units with LED lights on either side of our fireplace. Mark was incredibly easy to work with and we found his services to be competitively priced. He communicated with us every step of the way and was able to bring in other professionals as and when the job required. Mark takes pride in the work that he does and that is evident in the end result. We could not be more happy with our living room, which looks brand new, despite our home being over 100 years old! We are exceptionally grateful for the works undertaken by Paul at our property. Paul is definitely a quality craftsman with an eye for detail. Paul built a frame and erected new sliding doors for our recently installed ensuitean and installed new spindles, handrails and caps on our staircase. It was the little features like returns which was so impressive! Nothing appeared too much trouble for Paul with his aim to fully satisfy the customer. We have already commissioned Paul to undertake further works at our property. Paul more than justifies his 5* rating.

Probably the most organised person I’ve met, knows exactly what’s happening and when. A delight to work with and did a massive kitchen transition first for us 2 years ago (this is a photo of the kitchen 2 years on) and then installed recently a beautiful fitted wardrobe. We love the result. Has a great team to help with the other bits too (particularly Alan and Mark). For the kitchen we were swapping our kitchen and dining rooms over. Had a lot of ‘old house’ hiccups along the way which he handled brilliantly. Highly, highly recommend.

The following review is quite long and detailed, but it's worth a read since this time last year I had never met or heard of Paul and between then and now he completed a large project for me across the second half of 2024 and I could not be happier with his work! I bought a detached 3-bed house in May 2024 that was a real "fixer-upper", built in the 1980s. The plan was to start work ASAP, take 6 months or so to renovate the property and move in with my family by Christmas. There were many challenges along the way, but ultimately this happened on budget and on time and we were able to host our first Christmas in our new family home! This was achieved due to Paul's technical skills, project management ability, his incredible work ethic (absolute grafter), his punctuality and reliability, his loyalty (detailed below) and ultimately his sheer motivation to deliver quality and value to his customer. Paul quoted for the job which involved the following: * Fully gutting and renovating a 3 bed detached house (removing walls, replacing all floorboards etc) * A complex double garage conversion into living space, a utility room and bathroom * Fitting a new kitchen * another new bathroom and plenty more. Paul came highly recommended to me by my Electrician who also worked on the project. He is multi-skilled and can take on pretty much any task, but he is also an excellent project manager and delegator to skilled tradesmen. Throughout the project, Paul brought on board his trusted labourers as and when required, as well as a plumber, tiler, plasterer and some niche contractors too, all of whom I met and could see had a high level of skill and a solid work ethic. Paul also worked effectively with a kitchen design consultancy that I had brought on board due to the awkward shape and specific requirements. As with any project, there were plenty of challenges - some that were outside of our control and one or two due to frustrating attitudes from people I had brought on board who failed to live up to expectations (I will not name and shame, but I will not use again or recommend them). Paul stuck with me through a period of frustrating delays due to others and persevered through this challenging period of the project where others would simply have looked out for themselves and up and left. I was kept in the loop daily and we met on site once or twice most week when I could get there. I recommend Paul with zero hesitation for any large project or small job and I will certainly be using his services again!
