Marc has just completed a refurb of our stairs & landing with new skirtings, architraves, posts, banisters, glass panes as well as creating a panelling effect throughout. He also removed our "borrowed light" windows and arranged a plasterer to get that finished ready for decorating. We are so impressed with the work, the really reasonable prices, and just how friendly he and the others are. We will definitely use MKT again the next time we need any carpentry doing.

MKT Carpentry were recommended by a neighbour and did not disappoint. Marc and his dad were brilliant - they built some beautiful shelving and a benches for our dining space. They had great attention to detail, excellent communication the whole way through and lovely to have in the house. I will absolutely call them again for the next project!

So pleased i found MKT Carpentry , after filling in a form online Marc got back to me the same day . He and his dad , Martin replaced doors downstairs and installed new bannisters . Marc did everything he could to give us everything we wanted , really pleased with the finished job . They are reliable , turn up when they say they will , will definitely use again for any carpentry projects .

Could not recommend Marc (MKT Carpentry) more. His attention to detail is of such a high standard, every job completed has elevated our home even more. Marc fitted all internal doors including intricate pocket doors, created bespoke fitted wardrobes, incredibly handy under stairs storage, cladding in a bathroom and most recently created our new media wall (pending stove install by another business). Marc is such a nice and normal guy; we had our newborn and 2 dogs around during a lot of this week and he was nothing but respectful and friendly during all the work. SAS Carpentry & Building renovated two external bin stores which included replacement of the doors and repointing. The works were carried out to a high standard and have transformed what were tired and dilapidated bin stores. Would highly recommend Scott and his team.

We had Scott booked in for a job to replace our flooring on our ground floor. He showed up on the day agreed and done a magnificent job. He also came across some damp within our living room to which he repaired at a fair price. He had his son working alongside him who was also very keen and knowledgeable, both were polite and friendly. 10/10 service, will defiantly use again.

We had SAS carry out an extension for us in Harpenden, him and his team carried out an outstanding job from start to finish. We had 5 Quotations from different builders and by far Scott was the one we felt the most comfortable with and his pricing was very reasonable. We are going to use him again to install a summer house in our garden next spring. 8/5!

Ive known Mick for years and he is my go to person for anything carpentry. I have had various work done, fitted wardrobes, new internal doors fitted, laid wooden floors, replace skirtings. He is reliable and fair price too!

I have used Mick over the last two years on a number of different carpentry projects. If I had a job involving wood,he would be my first choice. Even if someone else may be available sooner I would not worry. Get advice, do it once and get it done right. Lakes Carpentry and Builders have converted my garage into a room for my model railway layout. This work included moving a door, installing insullation, new floor, ceiling and walls. Building storage and a basebooard to build the tracks over. They have also built a new brick built shed and replaced the facia on the rear of the garage. I am very happy with their work.

Can't fault Billy and the team. They were punctual and tidy through out the project and communication was excellent. Very happy with the standard of work and the level of care taken and very happy with the end result. I would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend.

Top quality bespoke alcove shelving unit and under-stairs drawers/cabinet. Ryan was always polite and helpful. He advised us on the design. All the construction was done offsite at his workshop. He then fitted with his colleague in a day and a half. Very happy with the attention to detail, would definitely use him again.

The alcove units exceeded all expectations, and I can honestly say they are the highlight of my house refurb. He made the whole process so easy and enjoyable.
