James is an incredibly talented Joiner, an absolute master at his craft. We’ve used The Timber Barn for a couple of home project and will use him again in a heartbeat. James is friendly, punctual, neat & tidy as he works and most importantly the quality of his work is impeccable. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Chris came at short notice to my house today' to realign my patio doors.it wasn't the best of days to have to do this .He did a great job .very patient considering but he got there in the end.I would certainly recommend using this young man.if you need any joinery work doing.As l certainly would contact him again for any work l need doing.

Had trouble getting furniture up stairs and needed advice on possibly removing a banister. Shaun came out lightning quick and gave the advice and reassurance we needed to know how to progress. Excellent advice at the drop of a hat , no charges and with a further offer to pop in when next attempt at furniture delivery was happening. Top man !

Shaun provided an excellent service in replacing our old kitchen with a new Howdens kitchen. He took care of removing the old kitchen and arranged electricians and plumbers which helped make the job stress-free and allowed us to continue to work from home without disruption. We are delighted with the new kitchen and would recommend SMT for anyone looking to replace a kitchen.

Update 2023: We’ve just has Shaun round to complete a third job for us building some new alcove cupboards. As per previous review, he consulted first on the design and spec and everything was made perfectly, and completed quickly. Shaun remains the tidiest person to ever have done work for us! Highly recommended. 2021: We could not be happier with our new alcove cupboards and shelves. From first contact Shaun was really clear in his communication and came round for a consultation on what we were looking for. He made some suggestions that really helped shape the project and finalise the design. He’s worked really hard over the week, always super reliable and went above and beyond to achieve a quality finish. We’ve already got him booked for another job! Highly recommended.

Pc kitchens and Joinery has done lots of work for me. The standard of work Martin does is excellent and he is very knowledgeable in all aspects of his work. Nothing is too much trouble and he managed to satisfy me being a very picky and sometimes difficult customer! Dan did such a fantastic job in our lounge, building us 2 beautiful alcove cupboards, 4 floating shelves and a superb fireplace surround and mantelpiece all in solid oak. We were so impressed that we also got him to make a bespoke unit for our vinyl and turntable.. Throughout the whole process, including navigating the covid lockdown, Dan gave us great ideas and guidance but really listened to what we wanted. He turned up when he said he would. He finished on time and was very competitively and fairly priced. Dan is also just a very nice guy who you feel confident about leaving in your house. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan to any friends or family and cannot praise the quality and finish of his work highly enough.

Dan did an incredible job installing our understairs shoe storage and bar—10 out of 10! His attention to detail was second to none, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He even got on well with our cat, who constantly tried to "help" by getting in the way! After we painted the cupboards, Dan kindly popped back to fit the handles, which was much appreciated. We had five quotes for this job, and Dan delivered twice the work for half the price. Highly recommend!

I've been looking at having some new front doors for a while and PC Kitchens & Joinery were highly recommended by a friend. I was not disappointed. The communication with Martin was polite and professional and he turned up on time on the day (something I've always found an issue with most other tradesmen). The new doors are fantastic and fitted to a very high standard with the existing doors taken away and the house left clean and tidy afterwards. I would definitely recommend that anyone considers Martin for kitchens, bathrooms, and joinery work and I have already had him around to measure and price up some new fitted wardrobes.

I commissioned a cabin bed, with a separate desk underneath, for my son. When it was finished, and in place, I had no idea it would be so AMAZING!!! I knew it would be good, but when I saw the lovely different textures and colours of the wood, the clever joints as the bed has no nails or screws-it looks so unique and beautiful, as does the desk. Adam listened to what we wanted, and added ideas of his own, I would definitely recommend and will ask him to make more things for us🙂

We wanted a bespoke banquette for our dining area and Adam did an amazing job of designing, building and fitting it. He worked with us to put the design together but put his own unIque spin into the details of the banquette. He is very skilled at what he does and we are very happy with the final piece.

Amazing work on our full wall fitted shelves from start to finish, Adam helped us with design and did all the hard work on this great build and installation. We're so happy with the results. The detail such as the soft close doors and the moveable shelves as well as the lights make all the difference. Already thinking about our next Boy on Branch project. Would recommend.
