After being let down badly by another firm Carl came in a rectified a bad situation with professionalism, speed and high quality. We would highly recommend and will be asking him to do any future projects we may have.

We had a custom shelving unit and coffee table made, as we loved the pieces we’d seen on instagram and really liked the idea of using reclaimed wood. Great communication the whole way through, and beautiful furniture! So happy with everything, would highly recommend.

I recently had a bespoke TV stand and record player unit made by Cookridge Carpentry, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final delivery, Carl was incredibly professional and easy to work with. Ben built us a large bespoke utility cupboard with an adjoining dresser unit, made to match the style and colour of our existing kitchen units. He discussed our requirements, made suggestions, produced diagrams and worked around our builders. We have been very impressed with the quality of work. The soft-close drawers and shelves take a substantial weight of china and bottles! I would definitely recommend Ben and hope to use him again for other projects in the future.

We have recently had this company design and install a new shed. We were replacing two older sheds and wanted one that covered the same footprint and blended into a more traditional garden. Behind the old sheds was an unused corner and a waste of space, 4G Joinery ensured the dimensions of the shed fit snug to our boundary in line with building regulations and eliminated wastage and created a more usable space within the shed. I am a bit fussy and struggled to make decisions but these guys were so patient and sent drawings and images until I was happy. They were responsive and nothing seemed a bother. We were struggling with the timescales and the guys were ready with our shed ahead of schedule. On the day they arrived as described, were organised and worked constantly over two days with the build. I did start to take photos but even that they looked after by capturing images of each stage of the build. We wanted to reuse our old doors which were in keeping with the design we wanted and the guys picked them up ahead of the build and primed them ready to be added to the shed. The overall quality of the new shed is fab, solid and as described. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and recommend them to others. Nice blokes, and it was a pleasure to have them on site. Thank you all ☺️

These guys are great. They designed, built and installed a porch and a new set of garage doors for me. Nothing is too much trouble, they kept in touch with me throughout the process, answered any questions I had promptly and worked with me to deliver exactly what we wanted. Danny and his team at 4G Joinery are superb. Couldn’t be more pleased or give enough praise or thanks. They stepped in at last minute as an urgent job to get us through remedial roofing work from a previous builder who had not obtained necessary building regs and had then needed remedial works to pass certification, guided us through the process, liaised with Council for us, worked weekend to get the job done in tight time limit (house sale was dependant) , and did totally far more than expected. Without their help, expertise and knowledge, we would have been totally lost! . Their work was exemplary, they were highly reliable and pleasant to deal with. Their price was also very reasonable. We will definitely use them again, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Thanks

I am delighted with the quality and service that Longwood Joinery have provided me for my new timber windows and front door. Paul came out to measure free of charge and listened to my requirements and budget constraints. The quote turned out to be the lowest cost in Leeds (and I tried 12 other suppliers!). Having been to see their products/factory, I was more than satisfied they could produce exactly what I was after. They managed to produce 3 x sash windows, 3 x casement windows and a framed front door in 5 weeks - all pained to Farrow & Ball colour references. I would highly recommend this company. (ignore the windows surrounds, they still need to be made good!)

This is the second time I’ve used Dave at Brownhirst Joinery to install my new kitchen and I didn’t even consider using anyone else! It was a much bigger job this time - including knocking down a wall to make my kitchen and living space open plan, re-routing pipes, re-plastering, reconfiguring internal door locations to comply with fire regs, installing new radiators, new flooring throughout and installing a beautiful new kitchen - as well as all the electrics & plumbing. Not only was it finished to incredibly high standards, Dave has a real eye for detail and made recommendations on layout and design to me along the way. He project manages everything end to end which is a huge benefit to the service he provides. And it was all completed in 3 weeks! Outstanding! Fully recommend Brownhirst Joinery - professional, super efficient and will go over and above!

We took David on to fit some new worktops and re tile our kitchen. The kitchen is an awkward shape and thus the accurate cutting and fitting of the worktops was absolutely key to the whole job. We had sourced the Oak worktops ourselves and it did not help David to find that one of the six sections was 'cupped' quite seriously, with all the sections over in width. David didn't let these problems, of my causing, bother him and just got on with his work which was undertaken for the most part single handed. He worked efficiently and quickly and once he had finished you could not tell where the previously cupped section of worktop had been fitted because the joints were so beautifully tight and perfect. I had to marvel at the accuracy and the finish achieved. David organised a separate tiling team to come in after him and these lads were top class also working speedily and accurately in order to complete the work in one day. I believe that he is mainly involved in kitchens but I would happily recommend David to anyone who is looking for a first class cabinet maker's finish to any wood working project. Will definitely use David again in the future. He was excellent in all respects. Peter Rodgers

We had a new staircase fitted by Brownhirst Joinery recently. Dave designed, manufactured and installed everything from start to finish. All the guy’s were friendly and polite and always left site clean and tidy at the end of day, any small change or problem was always dealt with straight away resulting in a great finished job.

Just had a dishwasher fully integrated by David today, absolutely buzzing with it. David did all the plumbing, fitted a new double plug and fully integrated a new door into an existing cabinet himself. Super quick too. Communication was 10/10 at all times as he ordered our new kitchen cabinet door for us. 100% highly recommend, 5*. Cheers!!

Dan did such a fantastic job in our lounge, building us 2 beautiful alcove cupboards, 4 floating shelves and a superb fireplace surround and mantelpiece all in solid oak. We were so impressed that we also got him to make a bespoke unit for our vinyl and turntable.. Throughout the whole process, including navigating the covid lockdown, Dan gave us great ideas and guidance but really listened to what we wanted. He turned up when he said he would. He finished on time and was very competitively and fairly priced. Dan is also just a very nice guy who you feel confident about leaving in your house. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan to any friends or family and cannot praise the quality and finish of his work highly enough.
