Jov did a great couple of days work installing some skirting boards and fitting a door. He also installed a cat flap and bike holder which I had been trying and failing to do myself. He is personable and reliable, and does a great job. Will be booking his services again!

Kev and his team really listened to what we wanted for the shelves in our living room and came up with a fantastic design. The workmanship is really excellent. Kev came to fit everything in a day having planned it all in advance. The long seat/sideboard in our leafy dining room is a real game changer for us. It's storage, it's seating, it's a cosy corner and somewhere to slumber. Kev knew I wanted to be able to lounge and the width of the unit easily accommodates this. Fabulous all round.

It’s obvious from the pictures you can see of the work Kev and his team have done how talented, creative and skilled they are, what isn’t as obvious is how helpful and informative they are throughout the whole process. From the initial talks over designs, to the speedy (and clever!) design layouts, feeling in the loop during the creation, to the actual install period it was all flawless! What we love is that our kitchen was designed and made in Tod but now lives in Bristol! People always comment on the design and the quality of our kitchen. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Calder Valley Projects again…in fact we have some work we need to get booked in before those of you reading this book them up long in to the future!

I have to give Nora the best possible rating. Not only did she build our custom cabinet exactly how I envision it, but she did it rather quickly and the result is stunning. Since she is my sister and knows me really well, she would agree I’m hard to please but I couldn’t be happier with the result! She likes to do things very thoroughly and her finished products look very high end. Everything fits perfectly, it’s made of good quality materials and will last a lifetime. I love my cabinet very much!

We asked Nora to construct a shed that would outlive us and she gave us some amazing suggestions and advice to improve the overall functionality and appearance. She acquired the timber locally and communicated well throughout the planning and construction. Ultimately she gave us a future proof structure that everyone that visits is wowed by. It has held my tools and mowers for a couple of years and also acts as a bird feeder/hide. It will soon house our spring water treatment works as well as the rest and it's wonderful to feel we can trust the structure to withstand the changing requirements we have for it. Last week she returned to insulate and line the shed to conserve heat. She had the forethought in the design to insulate the floor which would've been a real pain to retrofit. The timber she used does not need to be treated but will change colour over time and we're looking forward to the shed transforming with us. We'd recommended Nora in a heartbeat - trustworthy and professional

Excellent work from a courteous and skilled joiner. N.K. replaced a substantial external staircase for us. She supplied a couple of different options / prices to start with, and then our preferences were consulted in the course of the work, so the finished stairs were exactly as we'd hoped. Highly professional, and a very high standard of work. Would recommend without hesitation.

Nora is an absolutely fabulous crafts person! She helped us with our complete kitchen gut and remodel: cabinets, drawers, fronts, shelving, butcher block counters, etc, etc, etc. No matter how crazy our ideas (“What if we also wrap the sides of the island in the butcher block?... And go up the side of the refrigerator, too?!”), she found a way to not only make it work, but improve on it. Our kitchen is absolutely gorgeous, and exactly what we envisioned.
