A definite 5 stars for this trader. From our first communication we were impressed. Dean replied promptly, arranging a visit to view the potential work. He was punctual, discussed in great detail his ideas of solutions for the job. He then provided a very detailed, clearly laid out estimate: costings, itinerary of timescales etc. He arrived promptly each day, was polite and courteous, communicated well as work progressed, giving ideas and options and keen to show how he was progressing at all stages. We felt very much involved. His attention to detail and pride in his work are obvious, increasingly rare these days. We wish we had met Dean years ago and have no hesitation in recommending him to others for both his very high standards and craftsmanship, but also his personable nature. We relied on Dean’s previous reviews to find a tradesperson, which were all glowing. This review, read in conjunction with them, tells you all you need to know. Thank you Dean. Dean recently fitted vinyl flooring to 3 rooms and a landing in our property. The work was completed quickly and to an excellent standard, Dean is a real perfectionist! Always punctual and great communication throughout. Really easy and nice to deal with. Would definitely use Dean again when we need any further work done and would recommend to a friend!

We found it difficult to find someone to carry out a repair to our floor, but Dean was happy to take on the job. He was very polite and knowledgeable and explained to us clearly all the possible solutions. He was also punctual and finished the job on time. He even put the underlay and carpet back down properly and was very tidy. The defect was completely remedied and we couldn't be happier with the results. The thing we liked most about Dean was that he took pride in his work and didn't cut corners. We will definitely be calling on his services again for other jobs and can't recommend him highly enough.

"Very, very happy with Dean's completion of the challenging task of installing a suspended pinewood ceiling immediately beneath an original, unstable lath & plaster ceiling. A really sound piece of work, with the timbers sanded then oiled and edged in beading to look top class. Dean then upgraded the existing woodwork and shelving around the room to give a unified, well-finished appearance. As a grand finale he redecorated the whole room to a truly professional standard. We thoroughly appreciated his readiness to ask for and swap ideas and suggestions at every stage, as well as his punctuality, reliability and tidiness; all part of his ultimate aim to produce an immaculate piece of work. We would highly recommend Dean to anybody!"

We engaged Chris at Refink, after reviewing his previous work and based on recommendation. He was excellent at assessing the available space, then providing bespoke storage options within several rooms in a new build property, to a defined budget. Ultimately delivering exceptional quality wardrobes and storage solutions that have significantly improved the home. KNS contractors deserve more than 5 stars!!! Kamran has been absolutely amazing and is excellent as what he does! Him and his team have transformed our kitchen in its entirety from scratch within a rapid time. He has been consistent throughout in his communication and plan each step of the way. Not to mention he is very professional and is very knowledgeable in his work and recommendations. I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality. We will be using him now going forward for other areas in our house we would want work on. I would 100% recommend him and his company for any project/s you may have.

What can I say. The most professional tradesman I have had the pleasure to come across. Nothing is ever too much for Kamran and his team. We had a vision for a new media wall which was bespoke to us. It took a lot of planning for us to get it right so we didn’t just want to leave the job for anybody. We’re so glad we found the services of Kamran, recommended to us by a friend. He is an extreme professional, never cutting corners and always going the extra mile to keep his customers happy. Kamran and his team’s work is to an excellent finish, and they always leave their workspace clean and tidy. We had young kids in the house and they always ensured to keep the area safe. I’ve found in the past, tradesmen, if you’re not happy with some small details they will gaslight you in to thinking it is fine, but Kamran always made sure you were satisfied. There was a slight alteration to our design which we only noticed later, when pointed out Kamran bhai and his team came back and fixed this (taking an addition 3-4 hours of their time). This was even though we said it was ok and we were still happy. How many tradesmen can you honestly say would do this for you?! Highly, highly recommend and you will not be disappointed. On a final note we felt Kamran and his team were so trustworthy that we felt comfortable to leave them in our house to continue their work whilst we left to go out for the day. 5* isn’t enough!!! Keep up the good work!

Having had a new front door manufactured and fitted, I left this review for a couple of seasons to provide a balanced and complete appraisal. Martyn is a true craftsman and professional. He crafted a new stable door for my cottage to meet my timeframe and the end product is of extremely high quality, does its job perfectly and looks beautiful. His work is faultless and it was a pleasure to deal with Martyn who kept me updated and offered sound advice throughout the process. After knowing Simon personally for a number of years, there was no doubt that Topspec were the only company that we would trust to update our kitchen and utility room, and they didn’t disappoint. Topspec recently undertook extensive refurbishment of my mother’s home including demolition of original kitchen and porch and internal walls, construction of a new extension to the kitchen, creation of a new downstairs bathroom, and fitting out of new kitchen including plastering throughout, new floors and heating system. Construction was progressed in a very professional and timely manner to a very height standard, we are very satisfied with the finished works creating a fantastic new living space. Can’t praise or thank the whole Topspec team enough. From start to finish they worked with us to help create the home we always wanted. Ben built us a large bespoke utility cupboard with an adjoining dresser unit, made to match the style and colour of our existing kitchen units. He discussed our requirements, made suggestions, produced diagrams and worked around our builders. We have been very impressed with the quality of work. The soft-close drawers and shelves take a substantial weight of china and bottles! I would definitely recommend Ben and hope to use him again for other projects in the future.

Mended the cords on a broken sash window, fixed some of the casing woodwork and generally balanced the window so that it opens and closes more smoothly than when we had it installed. Very pleased indeed.
