Dean , recently, end of January 2025 , removed part of my kitchen units. Where there was an intergrated fridge freezer, which was broken. Dean made good the area , to fit a freestanding fridge freezer with his joinery skills and decorating ' painting ' . Highly delighted and would recommend Dean to friends and family.

A definite 5 stars for this trader. From our first communication we were impressed. Dean replied promptly, arranging a visit to view the potential work. He was punctual, discussed in great detail his ideas of solutions for the job. He then provided a very detailed, clearly laid out estimate: costings, itinerary of timescales etc. He arrived promptly each day, was polite and courteous, communicated well as work progressed, giving ideas and options and keen to show how he was progressing at all stages. We felt very much involved. His attention to detail and pride in his work are obvious, increasingly rare these days. We wish we had met Dean years ago and have no hesitation in recommending him to others for both his very high standards and craftsmanship, but also his personable nature. We relied on Dean’s previous reviews to find a tradesperson, which were all glowing. This review, read in conjunction with them, tells you all you need to know. Thank you Dean. We found it difficult to find someone to carry out a repair to our floor, but Dean was happy to take on the job. He was very polite and knowledgeable and explained to us clearly all the possible solutions. He was also punctual and finished the job on time. He even put the underlay and carpet back down properly and was very tidy. The defect was completely remedied and we couldn't be happier with the results. The thing we liked most about Dean was that he took pride in his work and didn't cut corners. We will definitely be calling on his services again for other jobs and can't recommend him highly enough.

"Very, very happy with Dean's completion of the challenging task of installing a suspended pinewood ceiling immediately beneath an original, unstable lath & plaster ceiling. A really sound piece of work, with the timbers sanded then oiled and edged in beading to look top class. Dean then upgraded the existing woodwork and shelving around the room to give a unified, well-finished appearance. As a grand finale he redecorated the whole room to a truly professional standard. We thoroughly appreciated his readiness to ask for and swap ideas and suggestions at every stage, as well as his punctuality, reliability and tidiness; all part of his ultimate aim to produce an immaculate piece of work. Top quality joinery work

Mended the cords on a broken sash window, fixed some of the casing woodwork and generally balanced the window so that it opens and closes more smoothly than when we had it installed. Very pleased indeed.

Alex did a lot of bespoke work in my kitchen - fitting units and a mantel, building bespoke cupboards and making doors to match some elsewhere. He even helped me to match up handles from elsewhere too. He’s a super guy, super friendly and professional and happy to go above and beyond for customers. Couldn’t recommend more.

We just had a media wall put in our living room and we absolutely love it. Alex was professional throughout the whole process, giving us updates and advise along the way. The attention to detail was outstanding, leaving us with the perfect addition to our home. Alex went out of his way to make sure our goals were met, and beyond! Alex fitted our internal doors which have totally transformed the inside of our house. He was great from start to finish in terms of talking through options and giving suggestions. He has a great eye for detail so made sure everything was perfect, even details nobody would really notice. I will definitely be using direct property services again

A massive THANKYOU to Alex for his incredible work transforming our living room. Going from a place we had absolutely fallen out of love with and outgrown having a young child and no storage he has given us back a living space we can all enjoy. From family movie nights, a cosy room we are proud of and enough floor space to keep up with our little boys never ending conveyor belt of toys. He gave us expert advice and ideas we hadn’t even thought of. We could not recommend him enough! He is so knowledgable and nothing is too much trouble for him. James has just today completed replacing all our internal doors and to say my wife is delighted with the work carried out is an understatement. Various sizes were required and he carried out all the work without fuss. I have had windows fitted and interior wooden doors done by him, without a doubt one of the best joiners that's ever done work for me in my various house that I've had. Excellent work, very punctual and extremely tidy worker.

Had a bespoke living room cabinet made. Saf came and took the measurements and made recommendations that were better than our original idea. Really happy with the service and the cabinet is now pride of place in our home!

Had some wardrobes and bedroom furniture mate. Absolutely fantastic quality, excellent value for money and even got them delivered a few days ahead of schedule. 10/10 would definitely use again and recommend to others

Saf is an amazing wood worker. He is able to make custom pieces ranging from bespoke furniture to intricate designs for Mosques. Been fortunate enough to see some of his pieces come to life. I would definitely recommend him for projects :) thanks Saf

Can't fault the service from start to finish. Punctual, great value for money and did a great job! I asked for a few specific items which saf was able to cater for. Other companies couldn't offer what I was after. Definitely be using Saf again for my next project!

Jake fitted some panelling in our lounge and a picture rail in our bedroom. He drew some mock ups for us beforehand and gave us some options to choose from. The work he did was absolutely spot on we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Added a really smart look to both the lounge & bedroom. Would 100% recommend to anyone!

Can’t praise or thank the whole Topspec team enough. From start to finish they worked with us to help create the home we always wanted. They explained the whole process to us and communicated really well throughout the build. The team helped come up with new ideas that we hadn’t considered and we love what we have now got. After knowing Simon personally for a number of years, there was no doubt that Topspec were the only company that we would trust to update our kitchen and utility room, and they didn’t disappoint. Rob led the project, and alongside Tyler and Josh, they fit our brand new kitchen, utility room and internal doors to the highest possible standard. Jov did a great couple of days work installing some skirting boards and fitting a door. He also installed a cat flap and bike holder which I had been trying and failing to do myself. He is personable and reliable, and does a great job. Will be booking his services again!
