After being let down badly by another firm Carl came in a rectified a bad situation with professionalism, speed and high quality. I recently had a bespoke TV stand and record player unit made by Cookridge Carpentry, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final delivery, Carl was incredibly professional and easy to work with. We had a custom shelving unit and coffee table made, as we loved the pieces we’d seen on instagram and really liked the idea of using reclaimed wood. Great communication the whole way through, and beautiful furniture! So happy with everything, would highly recommend.

Top quality joinery work

Dean recently fitted vinyl flooring to 3 rooms and a landing in our property. The work was completed quickly and to an excellent standard, Dean is a real perfectionist! Always punctual and great communication throughout. Really easy and nice to deal with. Would definitely use Dean again when we need any further work done and would recommend to a friend!

We found it difficult to find someone to carry out a repair to our floor, but Dean was happy to take on the job. He was very polite and knowledgeable and explained to us clearly all the possible solutions. He was also punctual and finished the job on time. He even put the underlay and carpet back down properly and was very tidy. The defect was completely remedied and we couldn't be happier with the results. The thing we liked most about Dean was that he took pride in his work and didn't cut corners. We will definitely be calling on his services again for other jobs and can't recommend him highly enough.

A really sound piece of work, with the timbers sanded then oiled and edged in beading to look top class. Dean then upgraded the existing woodwork and shelving around the room to give a unified, well-finished appearance. As a grand finale he redecorated the whole room to a truly professional standard. A definite 5 stars for this trader. From our first communication we were impressed. Dean replied promptly, arranging a visit to view the potential work. He was punctual, discussed in great detail his ideas of solutions for the job. He then provided a very detailed, clearly laid out estimate: costings, itinerary of timescales etc. He arrived promptly each day, was polite and courteous, communicated well as work progressed, giving ideas and options and keen to show how he was progressing at all stages. We felt very much involved. His attention to detail and pride in his work are obvious, increasingly rare these days. We wish we had met Dean years ago and have no hesitation in recommending him to others for both his very high standards and craftsmanship, but also his personable nature. What can I say. The most professional tradesman I have had the pleasure to come across. Nothing is ever too much for Kamran and his team. We had a vision for a new media wall which was bespoke to us. It took a lot of planning for us to get it right so we didn’t just want to leave the job for anybody. We’re so glad we found the services of Kamran, recommended to us by a friend. He is an extreme professional, never cutting corners and always going the extra mile to keep his customers happy. Kamran and his team’s work is to an excellent finish, and they always leave their workspace clean and tidy. We had young kids in the house and they always ensured to keep the area safe. I’ve found in the past, tradesmen, if you’re not happy with some small details they will gaslight you in to thinking it is fine, but Kamran always made sure you were satisfied. There was a slight alteration to our design which we only noticed later, when pointed out Kamran bhai and his team came back and fixed this (taking an addition 3-4 hours of their time). This was even though we said it was ok and we were still happy. How many tradesmen can you honestly say would do this for you?! Highly, highly recommend and you will not be disappointed. On a final note we felt Kamran and his team were so trustworthy that we felt comfortable to leave them in our house to continue their work whilst we left to go out for the day. 5* isn’t enough!!! Keep up the good work!

KNS contractors deserve more than 5 stars!!! Kamran has been absolutely amazing and is excellent as what he does! Him and his team have transformed our kitchen in its entirety from scratch within a rapid time. He has been consistent throughout in his communication and plan each step of the way. Not to mention he is very professional and is very knowledgeable in his work and recommendations. I can’t thank him enough for his hospitality. Jake replaced our old inner window boards that had become extremely water damaged as well as adding new framework. He advised us on the best options and our windows now look amazing again! I was surprised at how quickly the work was done! Extremely quick and efficient but making sure the work is complete to the highest standard! Amazing work on our full wall fitted shelves from start to finish, Adam helped us with design and did all the hard work on this great build and installation. We're so happy with the results. The detail such as the soft close doors and the moveable shelves as well as the lights make all the difference. Already thinking about our next Boy on Branch project. Would recommend.

We wanted a bespoke banquette for our dining area and Adam did an amazing job of designing, building and fitting it. He worked with us to put the design together but put his own unIque spin into the details of the banquette. He is very skilled at what he does and we are very happy with the final piece.

Alex fitted our internal doors which have totally transformed the inside of our house. He was great from start to finish in terms of talking through options and giving suggestions.
