Great service. We had some alcove shelves built and installed for our living room. They look fantastic and my wife and I are really pleased with the results! We will definitely being using them again!

Excellent joinery - Tony built a toy storage book nook under our stairs, a bespoke fitted wardrobe and 3 floating shelves. The service was excellent, he created unique beautiful pieces with skill (especially in our uneven cottage) and he assembled and fitted them in just a few days. Friendly, professional. Tony fitted our kitchen a couple months ago and it's still my favourite room in the house. What we thought was a quick switcheroo when we bought our new home turned out to be a lot more work than planned. This is the second time I’ve used Dave at Brownhirst Joinery to install my new kitchen and I didn’t even consider using anyone else! It was a much bigger job this time - including knocking down a wall to make my kitchen and living space open plan, re-routing pipes, re-plastering, reconfiguring internal door locations to comply with fire regs, installing new radiators, new flooring throughout and installing a beautiful new kitchen - as well as all the electrics & plumbing. Not only was it finished to incredibly high standards, Dave has a real eye for detail and made recommendations on layout and design to me along the way. He project manages everything end to end which is a huge benefit to the service he provides. And it was all completed in 3 weeks! Outstanding! Fully recommend Brownhirst Joinery - professional, super efficient and will go over and above!

We took David on to fit some new worktops and re tile our kitchen. The kitchen is an awkward shape and thus the accurate cutting and fitting of the worktops was absolutely key to the whole job. We had sourced the Oak worktops ourselves and it did not help David to find that one of the six sections was 'cupped' quite seriously, with all the sections over in width. David didn't let these problems, of my causing, bother him and just got on with his work which was undertaken for the most part single handed. He worked efficiently and quickly and once he had finished you could not tell where the previously cupped section of worktop had been fitted because the joints were so beautifully tight and perfect. I had to marvel at the accuracy and the finish achieved. David organised a separate tiling team to come in after him and these lads were top class also working speedily and accurately in order to complete the work in one day. I believe that he is mainly involved in kitchens but I would happily recommend David to anyone who is looking for a first class cabinet maker's finish to any wood working project. Just had a dishwasher fully integrated by David today, absolutely buzzing with it. David did all the plumbing, fitted a new double plug and fully integrated a new door into an existing cabinet himself. Super quick too. Communication was 10/10 at all times as he ordered our new kitchen cabinet door for us. 100% highly recommend, 5*. Cheers!!

We had a new staircase fitted by Brownhirst Joinery recently. Dave designed, manufactured and installed everything from start to finish. All the guy’s were friendly and polite and always left site clean and tidy at the end of day, any small change or problem was always dealt with straight away resulting in a great finished job.

We could not find fault in the full process of David’s work - from kicking off the project gaining a quote, to the design process and fit - we felt truly involved and able to create our own bespoke piece of joinery for our dining room. Throughout the build David was a pleasure to have on the house, the dining room was left immaculate every night (despite the dust the job created) and tools were left clean every night so the project didn’t take over our living space. We look forward to getting him back in for more work and enjoy how this work has become the heart of our home which gets so many compliments every time people see it for the first time!

David recently built a large fitted wardrobe unit for us. His work was of very high standard and we're delighted with the result. David did a fantastic job for us. He custom made two alcove units either side of the fireplace. The walls were uneven and he managed to fit the shelves and cupboards in seamlessly. He is the tidiest, neatest professional tradesman I have met. His attention to detail is exceptional. I highly recommend him.

We couldn't recommend Billy more! He recently fitted our kitchen and did an incredible job. He was very attentive and thorough, he checked with us every step of the way and was happy to help out with other odd jobs that came up. He also recommended and orchestrated all other work we needed doing (electrics, plumbing and plastering) and worked to resolve any hiccup that came up, meaning we had very little to look after and worry about. On top of this, Billy has been popping in when needed to finish jobs after other work has been completed to make sure everything is to the highest standard and has been lovely to be around. Daniel fitted 2 sets of alcove wardrobes for us recently. The attention to detail was superb, he clearly takes a lot of pride in his craft. He was clean and tidy, got the job done in 2 days and price was reasonable. Highly recommend. We love our new wardrobes!

Dan did such a fantastic job in our lounge, building us 2 beautiful alcove cupboards, 4 floating shelves and a superb fireplace surround and mantelpiece all in solid oak. We were so impressed that we also got him to make a bespoke unit for our vinyl and turntable.. Throughout the whole process, including navigating the covid lockdown, Dan gave us great ideas and guidance but really listened to what we wanted. He turned up when he said he would. He finished on time and was very competitively and fairly priced. Dan is also just a very nice guy who you feel confident about leaving in your house. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan to any friends or family and cannot praise the quality and finish of his work highly enough.

Dan did an incredible job installing our understairs shoe storage and bar—10 out of 10! His attention to detail was second to none, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He even got on well with our cat, who constantly tried to "help" by getting in the way! After we painted the cupboards, Dan kindly popped back to fit the handles, which was much appreciated. We had five quotes for this job, and Dan delivered twice the work for half the price. Highly recommend!

Adam, Rob and the team have done an amazing job transforming an unloved, 1930's house into a beautiful family home. Not only has the work has been completed on budget and schedule, but the team have willingly accommodated the many design changes that came along the way. Adam and the team did a great job converting 2 old farm workers cottages into one fantastic house. Unfortunately Covid and lock down struck during this which made it very stressful but the lads got us through it. 2 1/2 years on and Danny has been and sorted the settlement cracks and done a great re-decorate. It was a big decision for my wife and I to get a kitchen extension and we took a lot of time deciding who to use. When Adam from Feathered Edge came round to our house to discuss what could be done, he left us with a great first impression. Adam made a lot of promises which I'm sure anyone can do, however the job has been completed and not only did he deliver on every promise, his lads have done a better job than we could have ever dreamed of. Feathered Edge recently completed a side extension to our home. Adam promised the job would be completed in 12 weeks and it was completed two weeks early. As we are complete 'Building Novices' the guys were happy to explain to us the processes as they went along and put us at ease. Very happy with the final job and cannot recommend enough.

We have had ChristelBall Joinery to do quite a bit of work for us at our house since we moved and we can't speak highly enough of them. The quality of their craftsmanship is excellent and the price was very good. Friendly service,clean,tidy & always turn up on time. In the kitchen we had them fit our engineered oak flooring,tri-fold oak doors,cottage style oak pantry door,new skirting and architrave,stud work with over boarding to create 2nd level ceiling for the extension and finally fitting the new kitchen including solid oak work tops. They were also able to make us matching solid oak window sills to match the worktops. We think it looks great and have had so many positive comments on it from friends and neighbours. Since then they have been back again to build our chimney breast TV unit/wall,fitted units with oak tops in the alcoves either side and an oak shelf under the TV for our soundbar. New skirting all round and a second oak cottage style door with matching oak window sill was also fitted. They've really helped us realise what we wanted to do with the downstairs of our house and we can't recommend them highly enough. It looks better than we ever could have hoped for. Later this year we will be starting upstairs and will 100% be using ChristelBall joinery for our wardrobes and any other joinery work we need.

Ben built us a large bespoke utility cupboard with an adjoining dresser unit, made to match the style and colour of our existing kitchen units. He discussed our requirements, made suggestions, produced diagrams and worked around our builders. We have been very impressed with the quality of work. The soft-close drawers and shelves take a substantial weight of china and bottles! I would definitely recommend Ben and hope to use him again for other projects in the future.
