We worked with Ross to design a new kitchen and central island for the living/kitchen space in our flat. The one room needed to work very hard therefore everything had to be bespoke. We are absolutely thrilled with the result. We feel like we have an entirely new living space its made so much difference. Working with Ross over a few months meant everything was thought of - his attention to design detail is both astonishing and utterly beautiful, as are the materials he works with. He is an absolute artist and we cant thank him enough.

Booked Ross to build some bespoke storage into a new hallway / garage conversion. He did an absolutely fabulous job as you can see from the pics. I was blown away by his attention to detail and the quality of his work. To top it off he's a thoroughly nice guy too, polite, professional and reliable. Can't recommend highly enough.

Ross has built my husband a bespoke wine store under the stairs. It was quite a tight brief but Ross has managed to make something quite beautiful whilst entirely practical. We've been so pleased with Ross's work ethic and impressed with his craftsmanship that we've commissioned him to fit out our dressing room. The design he has come up with is so much more than we expected, we can't wait to see it in situ. Following a recommendation from a friend, we recently contacted Ross to fit some bespoke wardrobes for us. From the very start Ross was incredibly helpful, friendly and professional guiding and advising us on the best approach given the slightly awkward place where the wardrobes were to be fitted (within a sloped roof loft conversion). However, the end result he achieved is fantastic and we could not be happier. The quality of the materials and quality of the finish could not have been be better and we will definitely be reaching out to Ross again soon for our next project. We highly recommend.

Dan did an incredible job installing our understairs shoe storage and bar—10 out of 10! His attention to detail was second to none, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He even got on well with our cat, who constantly tried to "help" by getting in the way! After we painted the cupboards, Dan kindly popped back to fit the handles, which was much appreciated. We had five quotes for this job, and Dan delivered twice the work for half the price. Highly recommend!

Dan did such a fantastic job in our lounge, building us 2 beautiful alcove cupboards, 4 floating shelves and a superb fireplace surround and mantelpiece all in solid oak. We were so impressed that we also got him to make a bespoke unit for our vinyl and turntable.. Throughout the whole process, including navigating the covid lockdown, Dan gave us great ideas and guidance but really listened to what we wanted. He turned up when he said he would. He finished on time and was very competitively and fairly priced. Dan is also just a very nice guy who you feel confident about leaving in your house. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dan to any friends or family and cannot praise the quality and finish of his work highly enough.

Sam Wood made a fantastic job of our new boot room. We gave Sam a couple of pictures of the type of built in unit we wanted and then Sam took it from there to plan and design our space. We’re really pleased with his work, it looks great and we receive lots of compliments on the efficient use of the space. Sam has also refit the inside of our existing airing cupboard to make a more useful space for bedding & towels. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sam Wood as a professional, polite and enthusiastic joiner.

"Very, very happy with Dean's completion of the challenging task of installing a suspended pinewood ceiling immediately beneath an original, unstable lath & plaster ceiling. A really sound piece of work, with the timbers sanded then oiled and edged in beading to look top class. Dean then upgraded the existing woodwork and shelving around the room to give a unified, well-finished appearance. As a grand finale he redecorated the whole room to a truly professional standard. We thoroughly appreciated his readiness to ask for and swap ideas and suggestions at every stage, as well as his punctuality, reliability and tidiness; all part of his ultimate aim to produce an immaculate piece of work. We found it difficult to find someone to carry out a repair to our floor, but Dean was happy to take on the job. He was very polite and knowledgeable and explained to us clearly all the possible solutions. He was also punctual and finished the job on time. He even put the underlay and carpet back down properly and was very tidy. The defect was completely remedied and we couldn't be happier with the results. The thing we liked most about Dean was that he took pride in his work and didn't cut corners. We will definitely be calling on his services again for other jobs and can't recommend him highly enough.

A definite 5 stars for this trader. From our first communication we were impressed. Dean replied promptly, arranging a visit to view the potential work. He was punctual, discussed in great detail his ideas of solutions for the job. Dean recently fitted vinyl flooring to 3 rooms and a landing in our property. The work was completed quickly and to an excellent standard, Dean is a real perfectionist! Always punctual and great communication throughout. Really easy and nice to deal with. Would definitely use Dean again when we need any further work done and would recommend to a friend!

We have had ChristelBall Joinery to do quite a bit of work for us at our house since we moved and we can't speak highly enough of them. The quality of their craftsmanship is excellent and the price was very good. Friendly service,clean,tidy & always turn up on time. In the kitchen we had them fit our engineered oak flooring,tri-fold oak doors,cottage style oak pantry door,new skirting and architrave,stud work with over boarding to create 2nd level ceiling for the extension and finally fitting the new kitchen including solid oak work tops. They were also able to make us matching solid oak window sills to match the worktops. We think it looks great and have had so many positive comments on it from friends and neighbours. Since then they have been back again to build our chimney breast TV unit/wall,fitted units with oak tops in the alcoves either side and an oak shelf under the TV for our soundbar. New skirting all round and a second oak cottage style door with matching oak window sill was also fitted. They've really helped us realise what we wanted to do with the downstairs of our house and we can't recommend them highly enough. It looks better than we ever could have hoped for. Later this year we will be starting upstairs and will 100% be using ChristelBall joinery for our wardrobes and any other joinery work we need.

We could not be any happier with the service and products (bespoke bench tops and fitting) from Carl. After being let down badly by another firm Carl came in a rectified a bad situation with professionalism, speed and high quality. We would highly recommend and will be asking him to do any future projects we may have.

We've been struggling off and on for a few years with coving that runs above some shelving either side of a chimney breast and eventually one section fell off completely. So we decided we had to resolve this once and for all, we'd seen some potential options online and started looking around for a suitable trade person to solve this problem. We eventually found Carl at Cookridge Carpentry and his response was prompt and positive. Following a couple of 'false starts' we finally hit on a solution that we could proceed with when he provided a rough dummy. Carl turned up when he said he would and grafted really hard to make sure we reached the result we were looking for. His work was very clean and tidy with little mess, which was surprising. He also spent plenty of time cleaning up after himself on both days. Both local and quality result... winner! We would have no hesitation in recommending Cookridge Carpentry for appropriate work, very professional throughout.

What a great joiner Simon is! He came to fix my staircase and stopped all the excessive noise by reinforcing it all. Great work, fair price and most important he turned up exactly when he said he would for both quote & the job. I can't recommend him enough!

It’s made the hallway so much lighter and far more in keeping with the rest of the house. I also had another little job to do with an oak desk and this turned out better than I could have expected. From a big uncomfortable desk to a lovely cabinet for printer and office supplies and a new sit to stand desk. Belter of an up cycle and a quality finish.

Installed two doors for me. Turned up on time, was tidy and came back to fix when an issue occured. Could not recommend more 10/10
