We got married at Ponden Mill at the start of August and we had the most amazing day we are so glad we chose this venue for our wedding. The Venue itself is beautiful and you could get away with doing very little to dress it and it would still look great but there is plenty of scope for you to put your own style on it. The surrounding Yorkshire countryside is very picturesque, and we were lucky enough to have the weather to allow us to have the ceremony outdoors which we loved. We weren’t looking for a very formal wedding but a relaxed party atmosphere and the venue and the team really delivered on this ourselves and our guests had so much fun! The food and drinks were great genuinely the best I have had at a wedding and I wasn’t the only person who thought so. There were so many options to choose from and you certainly won’t go hungry. The whole team were amazing throughout the entire process and always on hand to answer any questions or deal with requests we had in the run to the wedding and on the day. Really helped us relax and enjoy the day. Massive thank you to Elkie and Jamie who were there on the day but also to wider team for your help in the build up you absolutely smashed. We got married at Ponden Mill in August this year and had an amazing day. Elkie and Francesca who run the show are lovely and chilled and they know what they are doing. Everything went very smoothly in the lead up and on the day which took away the stress. One of the reasons we chose Ponden was because it felt more laid back and friendly than some other wedding venues which felt quite 'stiff' in terms of what you could and couldn't do, as well as being able to set up the day before and stay in the attached cottage. The outside ceremony area is lovely and the inside doesn't need loads of decoration. The food and drinks from The Outside Kitchen were delicious too, many of our guests commented on how great the meal was Would definitely recommend Ponden as a wedding venue!

We booked our wedding at Ponden Mill Weddings way back in the Summer of 2020. Fast forward to 23rd July 2022 and the Ponden Mill Weddings team were instrumental in making our day as fun and amazing as possible! Elkie and Jamie were on site for our wedding and accommodated us amazingly, whether it was running the bar, making sure our guests were happy or pressing play on our ceremony playlist - they absolutely smashed it! What a fantastic day! The venue is a beautiful canvas for any type of wedding - ours was very much a colourful, DIY festival themed event that came together beautifully. We're absolutely delighted with how everything turned out and could not recommend booking this venue more. We had our wedding at Ponden mill this November, and we cannot give enough praise to the team. We knew as soon as we went to see the venue that it was for us it’s just suited us a couple and for the atmosphere we wanted for our day. The team were so friendly and just immediately understood what we were after. The communication was outstanding nothing was ever too much trouble and the support with booking accommodation was so helpful. The food I don’t even know where to start from the tasting night where we rolled home to on the day, the outside kitchen delivered. Our guests have not stopped talking about in particular our vegan guests who said it’s be the best food they have ever had. But it was the little touches that meant the most being saved a pizza for when the guest had left to enjoy just us two was so special. On the day the team were fantastic in helping the day run smoothly, checking in with us and making sure we were ok. Massive thank you to all especially Elkie who was our go to person for anything, and the whole team thank you all so much.

Barry and his team were brilliant from start to finish. Barry was always quick to respond to my emails and very helpful with finalising all the tables, chairs, benches and light up letters we wanted. We even hired more amazing bits like chandeliers and mobile charging points. All the stuff we hired was brilliant and set up and collection of everything was perfect. I highly recommend this company and their service.

Typical Type made our wedding even more magical with their beautiful fairy lights. They offered us a great, hustle free service at a compatible price and I can't recommend them enough.

We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier set of tables and chairs then loaned to us by Typical Type for our pub wedding in September. They really complimented and elevated the setting and Barry and his team were just the friendliest and most helpful folks we could have asked for. Sophie really went above and beyond to help make our day so stress free & utterly beautiful! She was on hand to answer any questions I had in the build up to our wedding and really made me feel at ease. We went through so many different styling options until we found a combination of beautiful items that suited our venue perfectly. I couldn’t recommend Sophie and her beautiful items more. We knew from the outset we didn’t want to buy loads of things that we’d be left with after our wedding was over so hiring from Second From The Right was the perfect option. Not only does Sophie have a lovely selection, but she was so helpful when it came to making decisions about what would look nice together and how many of each item we’d need. She recommended we hire less than I’d originally expected to and I was so grateful for her honestly. It was easy to repack and return the items and it’s lovely to know they will be used again and again for other peoples special days.

RSVP Weddings and Events arranged our 20 year anniversary vow renewal recently and it was first class. From the first meeting, Sarah from RSVP was attentive, creative, enthusiastic and friendly. She really ‘got’ my brief and brought it to life in spectacular fashion. Sarah’s attention to detail is spot on and her ideas and suggestions made throughout the planning process made our event so special. On the day of the event, Sarah was at our venue from very early morning ensuring that everything was set up perfectly. Sarah remained at the venue for the whole event, making sure it all ran according to plan. We literally didn’t have to think of anything other than enjoying ourselves. We had so many comments from our guests about how wonderful the event was. The day after the event, RSVP collected all of our things from the venue and brought them back to our house. The best purchase of our wedding was hiring Sarah to help plan and organise everything the attention to detail was out of this world she thought of stuff I would never think of and helped me with my mental breakdowns before the big day honestly couldn’t have done this without her 100% reccomend for anyone planning a big event, thank you again to Sarah x

Ross and her team did an amazing job for my surprise 60th birthday celebration meal at The Loft at The Moorlands, Halifax. My daughter, who lives in Edinburgh, liaised with Attention to Detail to organise the event explaining what she wanted for the venue. This took the stress out of organising everything for my daughter. When I walked into the venue I was taken aback with how gorgeous it looked! The flowers, the place settings, balloons, photo display plus more. Absolutely beautiful 😍 I would definitely recommend Ross and her team to others. 5 stars!!

Can I just say how fantastic you was in sorting out our special day! The service was second to non from start to finish! Due to Covid we had to make a lot of changes and alterations, and Ros & Amber was amazing and always checking in after each announcement. I even added some bits my self and they set it all up for me, nothing was too much trouble even my late night emails!! The wedding room looked outstanding and everyone commented on how amazing it was and what a create Job you guys had done! It was so nice to have all the stress of decorating and preparing taken away and knowing it was in safe hands!! The flowers were stunning, and the way you had set everything up was really perfect! On behalf of my husband and myself, we just want to say the biggest thank you to Ros and her team for styling our wedding. It looked truly stunning, and we had so many compliments on day. When we first met with Ros around 2 years before our wedding, I had ideas in my head of what I wanted, but I could not picture it. Ros, being the creative person that she is, took my ideas and set up a table to show me what it would like. From then on, the vision came to life. On the day of the wedding when we had our first look of the room all set up for the wedding breakfast, I could have cried at how beautiful it looked. We had created our own centrepieces for the tables and wanted these to be highlighted by the styling, and I was honestly blown away when I saw them! Every bit of the styling looked amazing and looked like it had been done with effort and care. Throughout the entire lead up to the day communication was spot on. Every detail was checked and double checked and nothing was to much for anyone that I spoke too. Even when I was being super picky about fonts and wording it was never too much to ask. Ros and her team are all highly professional and lovely people. Everyone that I spoke too was approachable and knowledgeable about what I was asking, and for someone with OCD, this was a massive reassurance! We would both recommend ATD to anyone wanting amazing styling done for their wedding by a wonderful, friendly team. Also want to thank Hannah at Inspirations Floral who works along ATD. Blue Sky Event Hire supplied me with some Igloo boxes for a recent event. They helped me out at the last minute when I was let down by another provider. Despite the fact this was last minute and a very modest requirement of 2 Igloo boxes, Stephanie couldn't have been more helpful and reassuring and took the stress out of the situation for me. I would highly recommend their services which were friendly, professional and straightforward. A company that put their customer first - please recommend to your friends!

I decided to hire a wedding stylist to relieve the pressure off myself and my family from having to dress the venue on the morning of the wedding, and I couldn’t have made a better decision in choosing Sarah! Sarah came highly recommended by our wedding photographer. After sharing my mood board with her, she provided a comprehensive catalogue of items available for rent. Sarah is incredibly knowledgeable about what works best for various venues and was adept at capturing the theme I wanted. She worked closely with our chosen florist to ensure that the decorations and flowers complemented each other beautifully. Sarah matched our bespoke stationery with lovely ribbons and tapered candles perfectly, bringing everything together seamlessly. I trusted her completely, and we received countless compliments on how stunning the decorations were. Knowing she was in charge of the setup took so much stress off my shoulders on the big day, and she truly brought my vision to life! Her familiarity with the venue (having styled many weddings there before) was invaluable, as she provided guidance on the best table layouts and overall setup. Sarah thought of all the little details that I had missed, like bringing umbrellas to the onsite accommodations in case of rain, as well as blanket boxes for our welcome party the night before. Sarah is such a warm and lovely person, and it was a pleasure to have her as part of our special day. I can’t recommend Stories of Events enough! Sarah recently styled our wedding at Middleton Lodge and there are no words to adequately describe her talent, her eye for detail, her kindness and her passion. In one word - AMAZING! Where do I even begin? Natalie is one of the most efficient, organised, lovely wedding planners I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. She helped every step of the way with our wedding. She was attentive to all of our details and quirks may I add haha!
