Using my husbands account hence the name. I chose Glamourpuss to dress my wedding venue after they were recommended to me. I booked them about 2 years in advance and as time went on I changed my mind about wedding decor. Changing my order was never too much trouble for them and it did not take them long to reply to any questions I had. The prices of items to hire are extremely competitive. As a business, Glamourpuss Weddings are informative and professional whilst also being friendly and approachable. I had a couple of items moved from one room to another on my wedding day and their service was so smooth that I didn’t even see them do it. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding whether your budget is big or small.

Glamourpuss provided the decorations for our wedding at Wood Lane Countryside Centre last week. Sam was always quick at replying to my messages before the wedding. Sam and team were super efficient to set up and clear everything away. They set everything up as we'd asked plus made a couple of adjustments that we just wouldn't have thought of (like putting an uplight either side of the moongate). Thank you so much for helping to make the wedding so beautiful.

We came across Kirsty after the previous company we had hired to do our venue decor went into administration and without sounding to harsh I’m glad they did! Kirsty was brilliant! She spent time on going through what we had previously hired and what she could do. We then went to meet her at a wedding fayre and so glad we did. Although we had an idea of what we wanted we left Kirsty to deal with the finer points and she did not disappoint. Our room looked stunning. We were delighted with what she had done and we received many lovely comments from our guests and the hotel. Whether you know what you want or haven’t got a clue Kirsty will give you great ideas. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone to do their venue decor. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Visited for a forest full of Christmas magic, absolutely loved it from start to finish! Staff were fab, great food and drinks selection. Magical experience for the kids following the trail and the lady at the craft table was super friendly and lots of fun! Lady and gent supervising fire pit - Marsh mallows and spiced cider were very polite and friendly too! There was live music, mainly Christmas, lots of people up dancing, really lovely. A brilliant start to our festivities, thanks so much x

We had our wedding at This Green Moon last month. If you are thinking about booking them for your special day or a party DO IT! I can't recommend them enough. Ashleigh and Paul and the whole TGM team could not do enough for us. Nothing was out of the question or too much trouble! We had a lot of heartbreak and hurdles leading up to the wedding. So I needed all the support I could get. They took all the pressure away with their expertise and calm beautiful ways. Plus have you seen the site? It's just magic 🏕️ We had a 140 plus guests with a whole range of needs and likes but they made it work with ease. The forestry trail for the kiddies was amazing giving their parents 2 hours off to boogie. The choice of drinks from the bar was incredible, the sounds systems brilliant, the staff so accommodating and clearly love their jobs. If you want an outdoor wedding but feel overwhelmed by the prospect of it book This Green Moon. They have the experience and set up, anything they don't have they know where to source it. They have a huge list of recommended suppliers, but if what your after isn't there, they will work with you to make sure you get what you're heart's desire. The weather on our wedding day was grey and damp, but in the lit up woodland haven of TGM it just added to the magic. There's plenty of covering from the elements and the fire pit in the centre of the tents kept all our guests warm whilst toasting marshmallows. I could go on and on. We found This Green Moon by chance when looking for local wedding venues and, it ended up being the only place we saw as we knew it would be perfect. Ash & Paul from the moment we met them and agreed dates were absolutely incredible, making sure every detail was covered for our wedding day. The setting is beautiful but, was made even more special by all the work the team put in on the run up to our wedding and surpassed all our expectations. Every member of the team were amazing and did everything possible to make sure us and our guests had the best time. I could write chapter and verse about This Green Moon and have thanked them endlessly for making our wedding exactly how we wanted it to be.

Incredible service! Thank you so much to the Elite event hire team for all their hard work in pulling our wedding together in July 2024! Simon, Dean and Laura helped us work out the perfect plan for the marquee and bar, and on the week, install and delivery were seamless. Even with us throwing in a few curve balls - extra catering tents / table plans - the team were always happy to help us and delivered above and beyond. On the day, the bar staff were excellent, incredibly friendly and happy to help, our guests were thrilled. Special mention to Simon, who grafted away all week, and on the big day was a massive help and support with the little details to make our day perfect! We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to hire marquee and / or bar - you’re not just hiring the equipment - you’re a fantastic team who will go above and beyond! Rosie has been completely amazing throughout the wedding planning process and beyond. She is professional, reliable, proactive, and responsive; I genuinely don’t know what we would have done without her! She planned our wedding at Elmore Court in December 2020 and guided us through not only the process itself but also the fact we had to adapt from a 160 person wedding to a micro wedding with 16 people. We met Rosie through family friends who highly recommended her services. After getting engaged in December 2020, mid pandemic, we felt we needed an expert on board to guide us and hold our hand through the wedding planning process. Rosie provided exactly that and more. She took the time to understand our vision, kept a close eye on the budget whilst being personable, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We could never have pulled of the wedding without Rosie and I wouldn’t have wanted to do it without her either. She’s worth her weight in gold and couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

Howards events did all the decorations at my wedding. Tammy the owner did an amazing job of laying out the room, decorating it and offering ideas and suggestions on how to do it all. We used Howard’s events for our daughters christening, we had the flower wall, cake stand, candy floss and popcorn as well as donut wall. It just made the event from nice to extra special, it gave the event more atmosphere, and the kids loved it! Tammy can’t do enough to help, she’s like an event fairy god mother! We can’t wait for her to decorate our wedding venue next year- no one else is trust to ensure we have a stress free day and a beautifully decorated venue. Vikki and her team were absolute superstars! I know every couple thinks their wedding was a fairy tale, but ours really was thanks in no small part to Sparkle n Shine. Even though we had a tight deadline to get everything sorted (less than four months) Vikki was very kind, warm, helpful and professional through every step of the process. Moreover, we really felt she cared about us and our wedding which made a massive difference (we weren't just another transaction). Our special day was absolutely magical. Would 100% recommend. Jess’s organisation and attention to detail is second to none. She has an incredible grasp and control on logistics, which allows creative suppliers like myself (a wedding florist) to design in the most calm and effortless environments. Not only is she incredibly skilled in her craft and expertise as a planner, but she has a calming, unflappable demeanour which is a MUST when handing over the reins for your big day. If you're wondering "do I really need a wedding planner?" the answer is no - you don't need just a wedding planner, YOU NEED JESS! The easiest ever 5 stars. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Booking Jessica Sharpe Weddings was one of our best decisions & if you are lucky enough to book her I know it will be yours too! TO JESS There are no words to actually express our gratitude. You are truly the best in the business & delivered a day that we will never ever forget & we know it would not have been possible without you. Jess and her team were amazing, they were friendly and so, so organised. Jess helped make the lead-up to our wedding run seamlessly, which meant we didn’t have all the stress of sorting everything out. As she is a wedding expert, she gave us great tips and advice about how best to set out our day, we wouldn’t have had a clue otherwise! On the day of our wedding, everything ran to time and went perfectly and she was a very calming presence for my husband when he was getting a bit stressed out. It was like a professional production and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves - we even forgot they were there sometimes!
