Our daughter got married in June 2024 and we were very fortunate to have been recommended Jess by Kate from our marquee company (Special Event Tipis and Marquees). We had got quite far along the DIY planning route when I realised as MOB that I wanted to be able to enjoy the wedding day and the build up to it without being overwhelmed with everything. My husband was quite sceptical at first about why we needed a coordinator as we had everything booked. This was mainly because he hadn't quite grasped what was involved, but after meeting Jess he was onboard 110% and he, like the rest of us, thinks she is fantastic and money well spent. We engaged Jess for her 'on the day management' but this is truly much, much more than just 'on the day' management and is an absolute MUST if you are having a marquee wedding. She is an experienced professional who has a very calm approach to everything. She stepped in 6 weeks before the wedding and from then on we knew we were in safe hands. She gave us much needed advice on a whole host of things and made everything run smoothly. She expertly coordinated with all our suppliers - of which there were many and all of whom were brilliant! She and her team (hello & thank you to the other Jesses) came the day before the wedding and set up the marquee. We went along to give a hand, but she had everything covered. She even had a kettle & made us all a cuppa! They came to the church rehearsal and then went back to the marquee to continue with the set up which enabled me able to spend time with my daughter and our family and friends, stress free, the night before the wedding, which is something which I would not have been able to do without her being onboard. Unfortunately, the weather on the day wasn't great . After glorious sunshine the day before, in true Lake District style, it rained on the day. We were so confident and comfortable with Jess's advice that we trusted her to her to make the last minute decision if the drinks reception would be inside or outside. She, together with Fran from Holker Hall, managed this beautifully and our guests have said that they were quite pleased it rained as it enabled them to have a look around the beautiful Holker Hall. Jess and her team were very professional and at the same time warm and friendly and it genuinely comes across how much they love their work. We had the most fantastic & fun wedding party and all our guests have said that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. I do believe we had the dream team of suppliers. If you're wondering "do I really need a wedding planner?" the answer is no - you don't need just a wedding planner, YOU NEED JESS! The easiest ever 5 stars. Jess was phenomenal - you will not find a safer pair of hands for the biggest day of your life! BEFORE WEDDING DAY We thought we could do it all but we were so SO wrong. 16mths before our big day we realised that wedding planning is someone's profession for a REASON & opted to find an 'on the day' planner since most of our vendors were already booked. My biggest regret is not getting Jess on board from the outset! We spoke with a number of wedding planners & at the end of back-to-back initial meetings, we didn't even need to discuss who the best fit was - it was obviously Jess. Jess was, of course, kind & congratulatory & immediately easy to get on with, but she was also focused & able to demonstrate her ability to deliver our dream day from the very first moments of meeting her. We knew that she would have everything in hand! Jess was our go to whenever we had a wobble or a question or needed to soundboard something. Nothing was too much & she always responded quickly & with results! She put us at ease every step of the way. The thing with wedding planning is that you don't know what you don't know, & that is where Jess is essential. She won't just people please - she'll give you honest advice/opinions to ensure your day runs smoothly & in line with your vision, & she will quickly identify any issues or gaps & will have solutions before you can even ask! ON THE DAY Knowing Jess was going to be there put us at ease in the lead up. On the day we both said that booking Jess was the best decision we made on MULTIPLE occasions! Nothing was an issue, she had everything under control, & had solutions to any issues without us even knowing there'd been an issue. There was literally not one thing we had to worry about on the day. Ultimately, Jess was both a friendly face on the day putting us at ease & also the most proficient organiser I've ever seen. She took command, made sure everything/everyone was where they needed to be, & did so in the kindest & most professional way without so much as breaking a sweat. She makes EVERYTHING look effortless! By the end of the day, we were devastated that she was leaving after having delivered our dream wedding day which, due to her sheer effort & skill, far exceeded our expectations & frankly blew us out the water. TIPS 1 - Don't book any old wedding planner, BOOK JESS! And do it sooner than later - don't be me, you can't do it all! 2 - If you're having a multi-day wedding, particularly with a pre-party, book Jess! We didn't & when it came to bite me in the backside she was there at the drop of a hat & sorted EVERYTHING out. Massive regret not just booking her from the outset! 3 - Communicate! Jess is incredible but she's not a mind reader, & she got to know us so well so that she could deliver the exact right aesthetic & atmosphere on the day. 4 - Trust Jess implicitly. There is a reason this is her profession. She delivers flawless weddings week in, week out. If you hand over the reins, you will NOT be disappointed! OVERALL Jess is one of the most organised people you will ever meet & you'll rarely have a question that she hasn't already thought of & answered - she goes above & beyond! She is also so incredibly kind & we like to think over the past couple of years has become a real friend, something we are so grateful for. Our day was flawless & it was entirely down to Jess. Booking Jessica Sharpe Weddings was one of our best decisions & if you are lucky enough to book her I know it will be yours too! TO JESS There are no words to actually express our gratitude. You are truly the best in the business & delivered a day that we will never ever forget & we know it would not have been possible without you. My husband and I got married in July 2024, and utilised Jess’ on the day wedding coordination package - but what her and her team give you is so so much more than that! We booked a venue which required lots of different suppliers (separate caterer, bar company, linen hire, port-a-loos etc….) and in the run up to it I said to my husband that I really wanted someone I could hand everything over to in advance so I could enjoy the run up and not be worrying about coordinating everything! Luckily, I’d met Jess at an event before we were even engaged and so she was the first person I went to for this help. And I am SO glad we did! She goes above and beyond for you to make sure your day is special and runs smoothly. I’ll never forget that I’d planned to tie the tags onto our favours the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids, only to turn up and for them to have already been done by Jess and her team without even needing to have asked. We had drinks “tokens” to hand out to our evening guests and I went to ask Jess for these in the evening to hand them out, again to find that they’d taken care of it already. They were one step ahead always on the little details, and knowing there was someone we could go to on the day if needed (rather than people coming to me or the wedding party) was truly invaluable. After our wedding I asked my partner what’s the one “non negotiable” you’d recommend to other couples planning a wedding like ours and we both agreed that it would be Jess and her team. I know my sister is also recommending her to friends who are getting married soon too as she was equally impressed by her! As a very indecisive and unorganised couple, we needed help so put our trust in Jess. Choosing Jess as our wedding planner was the best decision we ever made and enabled us to have the wedding of our dreams! Jess is so professional, organised and knowledgeable in every single department and we are so glad we hired Jess so early on in the planning. Jess has a wealth of amazing contacts and was always available to support us through the process. She is extremely hands on and provided a service that was worth every penny. Matt was super engaging and supportive around the booking even accommodating last minute changes due to numbers of guests being unable to attend at the last minute, offering suggestions to gain the most of his talents. We had elegant covers and bows for our wedding, and we can only say FANTASTIC! They were absolutely brilliant throughout, even when we did change our mind 3 times!! Jo and the team made our wedding look like a fantasy in a film ,that came true.We felt they went the extra mile for us and we really can't thank them enough. We met Rosie through family friends who highly recommended her services. After getting engaged in December 2020, mid pandemic, we felt we needed an expert on board to guide us and hold our hand through the wedding planning process. Rosie provided exactly that and more. She took the time to understand our vision, kept a close eye on the budget whilst being personable, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We could never have pulled of the wedding without Rosie and I wouldn’t have wanted to do it without her either. She’s worth her weight in gold and couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

If you’re looking for a wedding planner, look no further! Rosie is not only an incredibly organised, knowledgeable and professional planner but she’s also an absolute babe. She’s like having a best friend by your side every step of the way who knows all the good tips and tricks. She listened to exactly what we wanted and helped us create the most magical day. She was invaluable in the run up and even more so on the day. It was such a joy to have her as it meant we could just enjoy the day and not have to worry about anything. Rosie has been completely amazing throughout the wedding planning process and beyond. She is professional, reliable, proactive, and responsive; I genuinely don’t know what we would have done without her! She planned our wedding at Elmore Court in December 2020 and guided us through not only the process itself but also the fact we had to adapt from a 160 person wedding to a micro wedding with 16 people. We found This Green Moon by chance when looking for local wedding venues and, it ended up being the only place we saw as we knew it would be perfect. Ash & Paul from the moment we met them and agreed dates were absolutely incredible, making sure every detail was covered for our wedding day. The setting is beautiful but, was made even more special by all the work the team put in on the run up to our wedding and surpassed all our expectations. Every member of the team were amazing and did everything possible to make sure us and our guests had the best time. I could write chapter and verse about This Green Moon and have thanked them endlessly for making our wedding exactly how we wanted it to be.

We highly recommend This Green Moon for weddings and events! If there were six (or more) stars we would enthusiastically give a higher rating! We held our wedding at This Green Moon in early May 2024, and we couldn’t have wished for a better experience. Ash, Paul and the team were incredible from first meeting them through to organising everything on the day. They helped us plan our day, gave really helpful insight and recommendations from their experience at other events, and on the big day made everything run so smoothly there was absolutely nothing to worry about. The whole team made our wedding so special; our friends and family are still talking about how great the venue looked, how friendly the team were and how good an atmosphere there was. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Visited for a forest full of Christmas magic, absolutely loved it from start to finish! Staff were fab, great food and drinks selection. Magical experience for the kids following the trail and the lady at the craft table was super friendly and lots of fun! Lady and gent supervising fire pit - Marsh mallows and spiced cider were very polite and friendly too! There was live music, mainly Christmas, lots of people up dancing, really lovely. A brilliant start to our festivities, thanks so much x

Glamourpuss provided the decorations for our wedding at Wood Lane Countryside Centre last week. Sam was always quick at replying to my messages before the wedding. Sam and team were super efficient to set up and clear everything away. They set everything up as we'd asked plus made a couple of adjustments that we just wouldn't have thought of (like putting an uplight either side of the moongate). Using my husbands account hence the name. I chose Glamourpuss to dress my wedding venue after they were recommended to me. I booked them about 2 years in advance and as time went on I changed my mind about wedding decor. Changing my order was never too much trouble for them and it did not take them long to reply to any questions I had. The prices of items to hire are extremely competitive. As a business, Glamourpuss Weddings are informative and professional whilst also being friendly and approachable. I had a couple of items moved from one room to another on my wedding day and their service was so smooth that I didn’t even see them do it. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is planning a wedding whether your budget is big or small.

Steph coordinated our wedding in April and honestly, she was worth her weight in gold! From the get go on the day she was in and out of my room making sure I was okay and I had everything I needed, to checking on my husband, I knew I had absolutely nothing to worry about or even think about! She was so good with the details and everything was absolutely perfect. She even mucked in serving wines with the wedding breakfast! I would 100000% recommend her, I spent most of the day telling the guests how amazing she was!

It was towards the end of last year that I had the pleasure of working with Steph of S B. Events as the photographer at a Yorkshire wedding venue for a luxuriously, elegant, black and white themed wedding. I had already met her and had heard many good things about her calm manner and professionalism. During the planning of the wedding, she replied promptly and thoroughly, and made everything smooth and easy for myself as well as her couple. On the wedding day itself, she magically, made sure that everybody was ok from the couple of course, as well as their guests to the wedding creatives involved. She made my job easier and nicer and was open to creative suggestions to ensure that the couple received the best photographs possible that matched their aesthetic. It was hard to believe that she had been up since 5 am – she was friendly and smiling the whole day through, and I am so looking forward to working with her again.
