Wow! What can I say about the team at Wedding Fayres Yorkshire? I don't actually see these people as business associates but more of friends. All of the suppliers are like a little family and it's all due to how fantastic WFY are. The wedding fayres are brilliant, really well organised, marketed well so they get the numbers in and fabulous quality of suppliers. The fayres run smoothly from the moment you arrive there's usually a member of the team there to help you with your stuff (mainly for the diva's) so I look after myself. They know exactly where you are exhibiting and are always on hand from the start of the day until the finish. From the second you hear Stevie Wonder play you know you're in for a good day. Wedding Fayres Yorkshire go much further than weddings. They always are there to advise and help all their customers. I really enjoy the Grant and Allan weekly catch up meeting on Facebook live, which just gives an update of everything that's happening, it's great to always be involved. During the lockdown they have also been doing a weekly Friday night's quiz which is brilliant! It's amazing support for those wedding industry professionals who need it during hard times. Scarlett was fantastic! When we were looking for a celebrant we really wanted Someone fun yet thoughtful and we found that perfect balance in Scarlett. We met prior to our big day to run through how things worked as we just didn’t have a clue, Scarlett was really helpful and made us feel in such safe hands that everything would run smoothly. She helped us to write our own vows along side “our story” which she read before we did our knot tying ceremony. So many guest commented on how lovely it was to hear our back story and we definitely had a few tears! We have now received our beautifully presented keep sake box from Scarlett with our own vows , the knot we tied and Scarlett’s readings which we will cherish forever. We booked Scarlett as the celebrant for our wedding in July 2022. From the first call with Scarlett we felt confident that she was the celebrant for us - she was warm, friendly, listened to what we wanted from the day and gave great advice that helped make decision-making as stress free as possible. She kept in touch in the run up to the wedding and continued to give us all the support and guidance we needed, responding to any feedback we had in a really constructive way. On the day she was amazing - the ceremony was personal, moving, funny and relaxed all at once! She also handled hiccups like the sound system breaking partway through with calm good humour. We had elegant covers and bows for our wedding, and we can only say FANTASTIC! They were absolutely brilliant throughout, even when we did change our mind 3 times!! Wow! What more can I say? Vickie was so helpful from start to finish and her work is amazing. The venue was decorated so beautifully for my 40th party. From the seat covers and sashes, to the pretty centrepieces, to the balloons, to the twinkly lights on the stage. Everyone commented on how beautiful the room looked. I recently collaborated with Vickie on a wedding styled shoot and her styling knowledge and expertise were second to none! We met for a coffee and discussed my vision for the shoot and then Vickie ran with the idea and pulled out all the stops to create a gorgeous table scape and cake table. It was essential that we used repurposed and ethically sourced décor and Vickie didn't disappoint - she brought along homemade beeswax candles, charity shop finds and some gorgeous linen napkins. Her vision for bringing together the whole style of the shoot was amazing! Can't wait for our next collaboration!

It was only when I came to shooting a wedding they had styled that I truly appreciated what an amazing job they do! Such a super friendly team who are willing to go the extra mile for their clients. Alison did an amazing job for our wedding reception - everything looked better than we could have imagined!! Right from the start Alison was so helpful, showing us around the show room and walking us through everything, and also ordering in different coloured flowers to match the theme! 100% recommend!!

West Yorkshire Event Styling did our wedding in Feb 2023 and I can't say enough about how great our venue looked. Alison was professional from the outset and nothing was too much for her. Eventhough she already has a long itinerary of resources, if we wanted something specific, she would find it, such as a fog machine! Her blossom trees are beautiful and I had so many comments from all our guests on how amazing they looked. The entire venue looked enchanting. You're in a safe pair of hands with Alison and I would definitely recommend.

Wow! Our expectations were already high from our chats and the samples we had already seen with Alison beforehand - but wow, everything far exceeded beyond what we imagined! Sometimes it can be hard to put into words what you are envisioning, but Alison had fully grasped what we were looking for and executed it amazingly on the day. Every detail was absolutely spot on. Everything was positioned well, balanced, the colour scheme as perfect, and included personal touches that made it so special to us. The actual decor itself is also high quality - our guests couldn’t believe that the floral displays weren’t real! Alison is also really easy to get on with and work with, we would recommend highly for wedding decor!

We came across Kirsty after the previous company we had hired to do our venue decor went into administration and without sounding to harsh I’m glad they did! Kirsty was brilliant! She planned our wedding at Elmore Court in December 2020 and guided us through not only the process itself but also the fact we had to adapt from a 160 person wedding to a micro wedding with 16 people. Working with Laura was literally the easiest part of the whole wedding planning. I told her my theme and what I needed to make it a reality and she just said yes and before I knew it I had my quote for literally everything I needed. My husband and I finally tied the knot on 7th August 2021 after having to postpone from our original date the previous year. Laura was very understanding and accommodating in moving our booking over to the new date. She communicated well and ensured to cover all of the finer details so nothing was missed out. We were able to add last minute things to our booking when we decided we couldn’t get married without the gorgeous large blossom trees. The room was decorated exactly how we pictured and all of the guests commented on the stunning decor. I would highly recommend Laura for your wedding or event.

Laura provided dressed chairs, post box, vases, easels and signage (welcome sign, seating plan sign, menus, table numbers) for our wedding and we could not have been happier with everything. Laura made everything super easy for us and was really responsive. Definitely recommend!!

We were struggling to find someone to do the decor at our wedding in September and were recommended Laura by another industry supplier. We are so glad we booked her! The decor looked absolutely amazing on the day and surpassed the vision I had in my head.
