Scarlett performed our wedding ceremony recently and we can’t recommend her highly enough. She was kind, friendly and approachable from the start and she made everything about the two of us and our love story. She was so easy to work with and so professional throughout. Scarlett was fantastic! When we were looking for a celebrant we really wanted Someone fun yet thoughtful and we found that perfect balance in Scarlett. We met prior to our big day to run through how things worked as we just didn’t have a clue, Scarlett was really helpful and made us feel in such safe hands that everything would run smoothly. She helped us to write our own vows along side “our story” which she read before we did our knot tying ceremony. So many guest commented on how lovely it was to hear our back story and we definitely had a few tears! We have now received our beautifully presented keep sake box from Scarlett with our own vows , the knot we tied and Scarlett’s readings which we will cherish forever. Scarlett was so fantastic at our wedding we can’t thank her enough. Our ceremony was so personal and really reflected us as a couple. We had so many compliments from guests about the ceremony and how well Scarlett had captured us. Alison did an amazing job for our wedding reception - everything looked better than we could have imagined!! Wow! Our expectations were already high from our chats and the samples we had already seen with Alison beforehand - but wow, everything far exceeded beyond what we imagined! Sometimes it can be hard to put into words what you are envisioning, but Alison had fully grasped what we were looking for and executed it amazingly on the day. Every detail was absolutely spot on. Everything was positioned well, balanced, the colour scheme as perfect, and included personal touches that made it so special to us. The actual decor itself is also high quality - our guests couldn’t believe that the floral displays weren’t real! Alison is also really easy to get on with and work with, we would recommend highly for wedding decor!

100% recommend!!! We used Suzy @ Mave for both event styling and on-the-day coordination. Having a marquee wedding at home, I knew I would need lots of props to bring my vision together. Suzy was great at listening to my "vibe" and creating the wedding of dreams. I would not have changed a thing!! Organising the wedding myself, I knew I would struggle to trust anyone else to take over on the day itself without a stress, so the on-the-day coordination service was the best solution and totally worth every penny! Suzy was there from start to finish and really allowed me to put my mind at rest and enjoy every moment. From small things to topping up your lipstick, to big things like directing evening guests if they arrive early! From arriving back at our house in the wedding car, she was camera ready to capture the moment! I was very impressed! From the words of a control freak, book Suzy and you can't go wrong xxx

Where do I even begin? I’d been to a number of weddings where the couple had to set up in the lead up and take it all back down again once the day was done. We just knew that isn’t what I wanted to be doing. We needed calm, no stress and worrying about storage and not to mention the crackers prices for individual purchases of items, storing before the day and where the heck do we put it once the day is over? I saw Suzy’s work on Instagram and immediately knew we would hit it off and quite honestly you were our saving grace in the lead up and the day. It was so bloomin’ lovely to have the decor a secret and to hand over the reigns to someone who knows what they’re doing. We got to see the final product when celebrating and so we’re as awe struck as our guests. We hadn’t a clue how much work goes into planning a wedding and we didn’t even need to make it look nice. Nice doesn’t even cut how beautiful Suzy made our venue; every single person told us how gorgeous it was and were all relieved the next morning when Suzy turned up to take it all down. I emailed numerous times for advice and booked our band as Suzy recommended them; they were amazing and once again you were bang on the money! Suzy; you are worth every penny and more because you were invaluable. Do yourselves a favour and book the stylist package at the very minimum because it makes your venue go from good to fantastic. Not only that but it takes some much needed pressure from your shoulders. We wanted to have everything look amazing but couldn’t quite be bothered to do DIY. Going to ikea the week of the wedding was my worst nightmare so do yourselves a solid and book Suzy!! Suzy, thank you again for everything. Not only is your work beautiful but so are you!

Working with Suzy was an absolute dream. We planned our destination wedding styling with her from Bermuda. We spoke with her on the phone with a four hour time difference which meant early morning long distance calls to late night conversations squeezing in every detail. Suzy did a wonderful job at bringing our Pinterest board to life. The details and decor were phenomenal and her outstanding communication skills eased every worry that we might have had when planning from afar. She made fantastic recommendations for other suppliers and everything ran smoothly on the day thanks to her. Suzy is personable, easy to talk to and on the big day got to work transforming the space quickly like a magical wizard. Suzy is truly a professional and made sure that the vision we had was executed. As creatives we had high expectations and she far exceeded them. We are so grateful for her hard work and for making our day run smoothly. We will forever cherish her great smile and tenacious attitude towards getting the job done! We cannot recommend her enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to other brides.

We booked Suzy as our venue stylist and we are so glad we did! Suzy is amazingly talented at what she does and managed to transform our somewhat vague ideas into a cohesive and beautiful vision for our venue. Suzy’s passion for her craft is plentiful and I came off every call with her feeling confident and excited for what she was going to create. I was able to completely relax on my wedding morning knowing the venue would look beautiful on my arrival. This in itself was priceless, but on the more practical side of things it was also such a cost and time effective decision as there was no need to source and purchase all our own props for our wedding day. It was also a far more sustainable way to style our wedding as we weren't left with boxes and boxes of wasted items at the end. Booking Suzy was a total no brainer for us and we would 100% recommend her to anyone currently planning a wedding xxx

Over the years we have worked closely with Rob and Emma from The UK Wedding Event, who put on absolutely incredable shows in the Yorkshire area. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they will do everything they can to accomodate their suppliers. From their regular flagship exhebitions at York Racecourse, to the smaller intimte events, their attention to detail and professionalism is secont to none. I run a Wedding floristry business and have recently relocated up to North Yorkshire (from South Yorkshire) as a result of this I have enquired with The UK Wedding Event about attending their Wedding Fairs to reach new clients. I attended my first one yesterday (26/3/24) and had a really positive experience. On booking I was kept up to speed with the details of the day, my emails were promptly replied to and I received a call to discuss the details of the day and my requirements. I was already impressed. Then on the day it was superbly organised and both Rob and Emma were so welcoming. Emma was extremely kind and helped me unload all of my flowers which I was so thankful for. Working with Laura was literally the easiest part of the whole wedding planning. I told her my theme and what I needed to make it a reality and she just said yes and before I knew it I had my quote for literally everything I needed. My husband and I finally tied the knot on 7th August 2021 after having to postpone from our original date the previous year. Laura was very understanding and accommodating in moving our booking over to the new date. She communicated well and ensured to cover all of the finer details so nothing was missed out. We were able to add last minute things to our booking when we decided we couldn’t get married without the gorgeous large blossom trees. The room was decorated exactly how we pictured and all of the guests commented on the stunning decor. I would highly recommend Laura for your wedding or event.

We cannot recommend Laura Lindsay Weddings & Events highly enough. Laura is a pleasure to work with and one of our 'go to' suppliers. Laura always goes above and beyond for all her couples, be that arriving early to make sure that everything is in place or at times delivering chairs and sashes to random outside locations on the estate. Nothing is to much trouble.

Laura provided dressed chairs, post box, vases, easels and signage (welcome sign, seating plan sign, menus, table numbers) for our wedding and we could not have been happier with everything. Laura made everything super easy for us and was really responsive. Definitely recommend!!

When we first met Sian we knew she would be perfect as our wedding coordinator. She was so friendly and reassuring and we instantly knew we were in good hands. Sian took over control of the supplier at the 6 week mark in order to get the schedule together. This was so helpful and really took the pressure off us. We really couldn't have asked for anything more. On the day Sian was amazing and so professional. She kept us on schedule while letting us go with the flow. It all ran so smoothly and we had the most incredible day!! We really appreciate everything you did and you went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend Sain to anyone!!

After we postponed our wedding a year due to covid, I felt a little overwhelmed by resuming our planning and so reached out to Sian for her on the day coordination and some additional help in terms of childcare for our daughter aged nearly 2 on the later evening. Sian was brilliant coordinating the suppliers, it was a blank canvas venue and so we had numerous suppliers to link in with. Sian helped with last minute plans, picked up our props for the day and coordinated the set up. It all just felt very reassuring to have Sian with us throughout the day - thank you and of course mostly thank you from Fern (age 2)! Love matt, michelle, Lauren and Fern xxx

We can’t recommend Sian enough! Being able to hand everything over to her 6 weeks before the wedding was such a weight off our shoulders, and really lifted that worry of ‘oh gosh what if we forget something’! Having Sian taking care of everything also completely transformed our experience on the day - rather than having to worry about the florist coming to set up and the bar and all the other suppliers arriving, we could just get ourselves ready and enjoy the excitement with our friends and family. Rather than having to ‘host’, we got to fully enjoy our day. She is also just so lovely and kind, a wonderful person to have around on the big day!

We hired Sian as our wedding coordinator for the 6wk lead up to the wedding and on the day itself. Her organisation with the suppliers before the wedding was incredible and by making a schedule that we also had access to it made everything much less stressful and smoother. Sian was so approachable and attentive both on the lead up to and on the day and she was also very personable. You could tell that she cared deeply about how our day went and put all effort into ensuring our day was stress-free. She put in so much work, everything on the day ran without a hiccup and we weren't worried for a minute which meant we could just enjoy our day! I would highly recommend Sian as not only can she take the stress off those final weeks when things can get very overwhelming but she also assisted us with ideas on how things could work on the day and was always on hand to answer any questions/concerns that we had. It was a pleasure to work with Sian and we cannot thank her enough for the huge part she played in our beautiful day ❤️

We came across Kirsty after the previous company we had hired to do our venue decor went into administration and without sounding to harsh I’m glad they did! Kirsty was brilliant! She spent time on going through what we had previously hired and what she could do. We then went to meet her at a wedding fayre and so glad we did. Although we had an idea of what we wanted we left Kirsty to deal with the finer points and she did not disappoint. Our room looked stunning. We were delighted with what she had done and we received many lovely comments from our guests and the hotel. Whether you know what you want or haven’t got a clue Kirsty will give you great ideas. We asked Jess to provide table centrepieces for our Emerald Ball in November. She provided a fantastic service, replied swiftly to any questions and had some great suggestions. The final look on the night and service on the day of set up was amazing. The centrepieces pulled the venue together, perfectly matching the theme. Jessica was absolutely wonderful! We met Jessica and her mum at a wedding fayre at our venue where there were many other venue stylists too. It was their personalities and honesty which drew us to them and of course their beautiful decor. They were very attentive and recognised us when we saw them again at another wedding fayre which made it feel really personal. Communication in the lead up was timely which put us totally at ease.
