We came across Kirsty after the previous company we had hired to do our venue decor went into administration and without sounding to harsh I’m glad they did! Kirsty was brilliant! She spent time on going through what we had previously hired and what she could do. We then went to meet her at a wedding fayre and so glad we did. Although we had an idea of what we wanted we left Kirsty to deal with the finer points and she did not disappoint. Our room looked stunning. We were delighted with what she had done and we received many lovely comments from our guests and the hotel. Whether you know what you want or haven’t got a clue Kirsty will give you great ideas. I would 100% recommend her to anyone who is looking for someone to do their venue decor. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Pam was absolutely fantastic and put our mind at ease so much on the run up to the day and on the day. Just knowing she was there with us was a massive weight off if our shoulders. We left everything to Pam on the day, she said she wouldn't let anything look our of place or not absolutely perfect and kept that promise. I can’t thank Pam enough for overseeing my wedding! I came to her with a vision and said ‘make it happen’.. and that she did!! Her floral arrangement are out of this world and she is an extra pair of very calming hands on the day. My husband and I finally tied the knot on 7th August 2021 after having to postpone from our original date the previous year. Laura was very understanding and accommodating in moving our booking over to the new date. She communicated well and ensured to cover all of the finer details so nothing was missed out. We were able to add last minute things to our booking when we decided we couldn’t get married without the gorgeous large blossom trees. The room was decorated exactly how we pictured and all of the guests commented on the stunning decor. I would highly recommend Laura for your wedding or event.

Laura provided dressed chairs, post box, vases, easels and signage (welcome sign, seating plan sign, menus, table numbers) for our wedding and we could not have been happier with everything. Laura made everything super easy for us and was really responsive. Definitely recommend!!

Working with Laura was literally the easiest part of the whole wedding planning. I told her my theme and what I needed to make it a reality and she just said yes and before I knew it I had my quote for literally everything I needed. We were struggling to find someone to do the decor at our wedding in September and were recommended Laura by another industry supplier. We are so glad we booked her! The decor looked absolutely amazing on the day and surpassed the vision I had in my head. In the planning process Laura was easily contactable and responsive, and sent lots of pictures over to make sure she got things exactly how I was thinking of. Her pricing is very fair and competitive and she really goes the extra mile, even sending sneak peaks of the room set up via whatsapp on the wedding morning which was so exciting! Everyone commented on how beautiful the room looked and a huge part of that was the beautiful table runners, chair sashes and selection of candles and candlesticks Laura did for us. Thank you!

I recently collaborated with Vickie on a wedding styled shoot and her styling knowledge and expertise were second to none! We met for a coffee and discussed my vision for the shoot and then Vickie ran with the idea and pulled out all the stops to create a gorgeous table scape and cake table. It was essential that we used repurposed and ethically sourced décor and Vickie didn't disappoint - she brought along homemade beeswax candles, charity shop finds and some gorgeous linen napkins. Her vision for bringing together the whole style of the shoot was amazing! Can't wait for our next collaboration!

I'd met Vickie and the Spectacular Scenes team on a few occasions at various wedding fairs and always liked what I saw. It was only when I came to shooting a wedding they had styled that I truly appreciated what an amazing job they do! Such a super friendly team who are willing to go the extra mile for their clients. I run a Wedding floristry business and have recently relocated up to North Yorkshire (from South Yorkshire) as a result of this I have enquired with The UK Wedding Event about attending their Wedding Fairs to reach new clients. I attended my first one yesterday (26/3/24) and had a really positive experience. On booking I was kept up to speed with the details of the day, my emails were promptly replied to and I received a call to discuss the details of the day and my requirements. I was already impressed. Then on the day it was superbly organised and both Rob and Emma were so welcoming. Emma was extremely kind and helped me unload all of my flowers which I was so thankful for. Just want to say a huge thank you for letting us use your venue for our TV filming . Couldn't think of a better venue to use .the space is huge the room is spotless and the staff are just amazing . Donna let us use the room for a chanel 5 series coming out soon and was more than happy to fit in around our timings .I have used the venue many times and recommend to anyone wanting a venue for a party etc .
