Regarding the Maths support Roy gave, my son really enjoyed working with him and what Roy did was much appreciated. I am certain this has positively affected my son's grade and was the right decision to pursue. It clearly benefitted him in terms of his maths understanding and conversancy for his Physics A-Level and also associated levels of maths understanding and cognitive ability / maths type problem solving skills in general. We were really pleased with the experience we had with Andy tutoring science and John tutoring maths. My daughter had struggled with these subjects and the 1-2-1 tutoring really helped her. My son Lucas has been attending tutor sessions with Hilda since 2018 for help with his Maths and English. He is now in Year 6 and has improved considerably, thanks to the extra help he has received. Hildas lessons are professional and tailor planned to help develop areas that need extra attention. She has built a great relationship with Lucas and he always comes away from the sessions feeling really positive. Hilda finds reading material that Lucas would find interesting and she understands the requirements for SATs, which has given him a better grasp of tackling test questions. Recently due to the lockdown, lessons have been conducted online, which were again professional and adapted to Lucas' needs. Martin teaches our 11 year old daughter whose confidence in maths had taken a dip post-covid. He quickly identified some key areas to focus on and, more importantly, is helping her confidence grow again. His patience and understanding helps put her at ease. He has also helped her with SATs revision and exam practice for her entrance test to secondary school which she was successful in. I can highly recommend him.
