Jake is a brilliant Maths tutor and I can't recommend him highly enough. He is thoughtful, friendly and analytical. He guided my son through all of the topics he was finding tricky until he was able to identify and work through them with ease. Jake gave our son confidence to raise his own expectations and go for the top grades. A communicative tutor, who let us know how our son was doing regularly and responsive to any questions we had. Jake has been extremely helpful during the years that I have been studying gcses where near the start of year 10 I was struggling in both chemistry and physics but after learning from Jake and his extremely good teaching I was able to bounce back and will hopefully get a 9 in both subjects for gcse. I hope to be learning u der him for a levels next year.

Amazing tutoring service! Unlike many I’ve tried before, their ethos and actions align. There’s always someone available to talk to and reply to you when you have any issues. Teachers are very knowledgeable in their subjects and have many years of experience, not only in their subjects but how GCSEs are marked and what’s needed for the child to understand the exams set up. My son joined the Lextra family mid October 2022 with his last school result in Grade 6. There was so much hardwork, dedication, commitment from the tutors of Lextra and my son. This tutoring company is amazing and wonderful. I am a GCSE student and their page on Instagram helped me a lot, they post questions in their stories related to the upcoming paper, they answer in private to all of your questions, no matter how many. They have many posts on their profile page related to subjects like science (mostly), maths, some for english as well. Best thing of all, they do a "night before" revision for the next day's exam covering all topics requested by students. The revisions are really helpful. They also have some videos on YouTube for free and for some others you have to pay to watch their course. But, it's worth it ! This page is a saviour for GCSE students.

Honestly I can not recommend Adam enough. He has been absolutely amazing, his knowledge and understanding for the children is exemplary. My sons Maths grades improved by 2 marks within 4 months, and he looked forward to his lesson every week. He said the way he was taught the maths was brilliant and if he was struggling Adam made sure he left feeling confident. He had is last lesson on Wednesday and I've just received 2 messages with extra support for his GCSE next week, he didn't have to do this but it shows that isn't just a business to him. My daughter needed help with GCSE maths. Adam Tutorial was local and we thought we'd give it a try. We are glad we did. The sessions are held in a small group, rather than the traditional 1-1. Maths is something you need someone to guide you when stuck and not a subject you need constant supervision. The end result is my daughter obtained the grade she thought beforehand she wouldn't attain. Adam definitely helped her on her journey.

I started going to Beyond Horizons Tuition in year 4 and now after receiving my GCSE results I am extremely impressed with the support i received throughout my time there. The small classroom size allowed for the teachers to individually support each student with their own needs therefore allowing me to achieve great results in my SATs and later down the line helping me achieve a 9 in maths and a 9-9 in science. Also, my English grade jumped from a 4 in November to a 7 thanks to their unique teaching method which allows the students to consistently improve. Overall I’m very happy with my time there as someone who was able to get into Leeds Maths School because of them.

My son finds these tuition sessions really helpful. The small group study format works well for him, and the tutors are knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. The follow up communications from Jess are particularly helpful as 15 yr old boys can sometimes be less than communicative with their parents about how things are going! My son already feels more confident with his revision lessons after only two sessions and is able to bring anything he is struggling with to the relevant tutor for guidance. Absolutely amazing Setup. They helped my son to achieve A much higher grade in his GCSE's. We only found them in January and he went up between 1 and 2 grade increases in English Maths and Science. I'm sure if he had more time with them he would have got even higher. I can't recommend these highly enough. So friendly and will to take that's little extra time to get the right result. The class sizes are small as well so you get much more involvement and attention.
