My eldest daughter attended Kip McGrath Shipley for 2 years running up to her 11+ exams. She thrived in the fun and friendly learning environment that the founders Gael and Roy have created and she (secretly!) looked forward to going every Saturday. Thanks to Kip McGrath Shipley's help she was successful in both of her 11+ exams, and she's now enjoying her first year of secondary school at North Halifax Grammar. All being well - and with the continued support from Kip McGrath Shipley - she'll be joined by her younger sister in a couple of years time. Finally, it's just worth mentioning that Gael and Roy switched premises in summer 2019, and their new learning centre is lovely and bright, with easy access for pick up and drop offs.

Both of our boys have attended Kip (Shipley) for the 11+ over the last few years and have been successful in reaching the required standard and gaining a place at their school of choice. We did try other tuition places for our youngest but ended up back at Kip. Gael /Roy and the rest of the team are super helpful and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is also much more relaxed and has a welcoming family feel to it. So much that our youngest actually enjoyed attending his lessons there. Would highly recommend Kip (Shipley) for anyone interested in the 11+ or even for just some extra help with their schoolwork.

Both of my daughters have been to Kip McGrath in Shipley to help them gain confidence and keep up in maths at school. My eldest now scores 7s in maths leading up to GCSEs this year, whilst my youngest (9) needed to be taught a modern maths approach which isn't the way I learned. She now feels comfortable with the pace and ideas of maths at school and we are grateful to Gael and Roy for helping her grow so quickly. The cost is reasonable and the tutors are keen for students to sit every lesson which has been paid for so offer catch-up sessions in case of illness or unavailability from the student. There is a free assessment and you can get a good deal when paying in advance for a full term, weekly on a day that suits you. If your child needs a little help to get back on track in one of the key skills taught at school, just message and have an initial session to see how they go.

Teach Smart tuition is an extremely helpful one. My son has had only a few lessons and has gotten a very high score in his 11+ plus.I recommend taking your children to this tuition.

Teach smart is a fantastic and reliable tuition centre. Your money never gets wasted if teach smart is your choice, you will definitely get good results. My son Shaheer joined teach smart in 2021 till 2022, one year for 11plus exam. The staff is so helpful. They have a very good experience of teaching. With their help and effort my son got place in Crossly Heath Grammar school. They give you feedback every time. They support you, they listen to you, if you have any issues. Staff is friendly and caring. They give you extra time in six weeks holidays which i really appreciate. Their prices are reasonable.

My son came here for extra help on Maths GCSE as he needed a grade 5 to get into the course he had chosen but in his mock exams he kept getting a 3. After joining this place his next set of mock exams he jumped to a grade 4 and now he has got his actual results for GCSE and he has Ma Sha Allah smashes it with a grade 5 which was the highest he could get. Thank you to the sir who taught him. My son has been receiving support for his 11+ exam initially then tailored support for his SATs. The dedication and commitment of all the staff has been second to none. The team really home in on the individuals needs. Feedback is also given after every session along with homework to further enhance the child's learning. I did some research and visited a few private tutoring centres before discovering Grade Up. When I met Atta, I had many questions about how he delivers the classes. He was incredibly informed, encouraging, and answered all of my questions. Ultimately, I chose Grade Up, which was the BEST DECISION EVER.
