Nikki helped our son with a short course of test familiarisation ahead of his 11+ exam. Even though she was only working with him for a few weeks she really built up a rapport with him, he loved going to his sessions and she helped him with his test technique and time management. She's a lovely lady, so friendly and helpful with great communication to us as his parents as well. Highly recommend!

My son is higher ability, so please don’t think tutoring is just for those who are struggling! Seeing Nikki has really helped him get going again after lockdown, plus he struggles with classroom noise etc. so it has been great for enabling him to go through things more thoroughly and push himself towards his full potential in a relaxing, fun and familiar way. Nikki is such a lovely, friendly and welcoming person. My son has been attending tutoring with her for a few months and he honestly looks forward to each session. He has previously had tutoring with another local tutoring company and we had to make the decision to stop. Firstly, because my son was not enjoying it and would complain at each session and secondly we felt he wasn’t getting enough tailored tutoring, as he was just working independently on a computer. Well this is not the case with the AMAZING Nikki - no computer in sight, she sits working closely with the children, makes learning VERY fun, it is personal and she provides parents with feedback and helpful suggestions. I signed up with First Tutors a couple of months ago and got messages from prospective clients pretty much straight away. It's a really easy system to use, thorough checks are made and you have to supply references. I also like that contact details aren't shared until you've accepted a client and they have paid the release fee. It seems to be a really good system for both tutors and tutees.

My daughter has been attending Yorkshire Education Sevices for a couple of years and karen has been absolutely fantastic. My daughter has always struggled with maths but since attending tuition with Karen and then Jon when she started in year 11, she has moved up a maths set at school and has improved massively. My daughter is just about to sit her maths GCSE & I really feel that Karen & Jon have given her the confidence she needs to do really well. I cant recommend Yes Education Sevices enough, if your child is struggling with maths or English then you should definitely try these guys, they're brilliant.

The whole team has been amazing for my son, he is 5 years old with visually impairment who was advised that he may struggle to write using a pen and paper, but gosh the team at kip have been absolutely fantastic. Aysha has been brilliant with both my daughter and son throughout the time they have been at Tailored Tuition. All aspects of the 11+ tests were covered and they both worked really well together to make sure they were and will be well prepared for the exams. We used tailored tuition for their mock tests for the entrance exam. They really helped our daughter with her confidence, practice her timings and build her stamina before the exam. Aysha at Tailored Tuition have helped prepare both my son and daughter prepare for the 11+ exams. She has helped them strengthen their weaker areas, and go into more depth in areas where they didn't quite get it first time around at school. The mock 11+ exams have been particularly helpful as its the first time the children have set such tests in test conditions. They helped the children to understand how to manage their time, and how to balance speed/pace and accuracy as they go through each test. This left them confident to tackle the real thing with less nerves. Thanks to all of this each child passed the entrance exams for Ermysteds and Skipton Girls, giving them more options on which school to apply for.

My daughter had tutoring at Kip McGrath, Skipton to help her with preparation for the selection tests (in maths, English and verbal reasoning) for the local, selective girls' school. She actually enjoyed going to her weekly classes with Tom and didn't moan about the homework. Tom and his team are very professional and clearly experienced teachers with great tools and tips. Tom is very professional and helpful, and the communication with parents is smooth and prompt. The classes were very small groups so she got lots of one-to-one attention. My daughter really improved over the 12 months - we could see it all coming together from the regular practice papers - and we got the result we wanted - she passed the selection tests.
