Highly recommend Adam at AP Tuition. Our daughter has been attending weekly GCSE Maths sessions which she really enjoyed, and said it never felt like a chore attending. The proof is in the pudding and she has just passed her GCSE Maths with flying colours, giving her great confidence. Honestly I can not recommend Adam enough. He has been absolutely amazing, his knowledge and understanding for the children is exemplary. My sons Maths grades improved by 2 marks within 4 months, and he looked forward to his lesson every week. He said the way he was taught the maths was brilliant and if he was struggling Adam made sure he left feeling confident. He had is last lesson on Wednesday and I've just received 2 messages with extra support for his GCSE next week, he didn't have to do this but it shows that isn't just a business to him. If my daughter needs tuiting in the coming years I will not hesitate in where she will be going. Thankyou Adam again.

Al-Bashir Academy is an amazing tuition centre which I would definitely recommend them to others. The tutor help me to revise for my GCSEs showing me new and different ways to revise. Also the lessons are enjoyable and I got a lot of work done in these lessons.

I can't express enough how much my son has benefited going to tuition! One of the best decisions I made. They actually do as they promise and if not more . My son came home last week from school and told me what he is learning in maths at school now he already knows thanks to his tuition he is ahead of the class. Brilliant academy for my daughter. The tutors have helped her grasp the knowledge she needs to excel in her education. Session timings are many and group sizes are nice and small - perfect to enable group learning aswell as focusing on each individual. Keep up the good work 😊

We have been using Conexus Tuition for my son since the summer of 2023 and we honestly can nor recommend them highly enough. My son is in year 6 and we wanted support for SATS specifically but also overall help with English and maths. Jess works so well with our son, she understands his learning styles and takes the time to adapt tasks and explanations to bring out the best in him. Activities are varied and its lovely to hear him laughing and enjoying the interactive sessions. Our son genuinely looks forward to the sessions and has formed a wonderful bond with his tutor, his progress has grown alongside his confidence. A brilliant decision getting Conexus on board, as an ex teacher we really can't recommend them enough.

My son was struggling with Maths before his GCSE’s , he needed a pass to secure a place at college. We met with Jenny who completed a quick assessment and advised the best way to move forward. My son was placed on one-to-one sessions with a tutor (Tom) who focused on the areas in which he was struggling. It was a relaxed friendly atmosphere with a high level of teaching. Absolutely amazing Setup. They helped my son to achieve A much higher grade in his GCSE's. We only found them in January and he went up between 1 and 2 grade increases in English Maths and Science. I'm sure if he had more time with them he would have got even higher. I can't recommend these highly enough. So friendly and will to take that's little extra time to get the right result. The class sizes are small as well so you get much more involvement and attention.

I have been doing extra tuition in maths with Tutor in Leeds for the last couple of months to prepare me for an exam I will be taking once I emigrate to Canada to study. I hadn't done maths since high school (8 years ago) so I was very nervous coming into the maths lessons at first. My tutor Liam was fantastic, I was instantly put at ease and felt comfortable during the lessons. We started right at the basics and worked up to the really difficult maths working through every method step by step. I can now say with confidence that I feel fully prepared to sit my exam once I fly to Canada. I would highly recommend to anybody who may be struggling with a subject. Liam tutored me in preparation for my A Level English Literature exam. I had limited time until the exam and little knowledge of the texts prior to having a tutor, and Liam gave me great understanding of each text we covered as well how to structure and develop my essays. My son Lucas has been attending tutor sessions with Hilda since 2018 for help with his Maths and English. He is now in Year 6 and has improved considerably, thanks to the extra help he has received. Hildas lessons are professional and tailor planned to help develop areas that need extra attention. She has built a great relationship with Lucas and he always comes away from the sessions feeling really positive. Hilda finds reading material that Lucas would find interesting and she understands the requirements for SATs, which has given him a better grasp of tackling test questions. Recently due to the lockdown, lessons have been conducted online, which were again professional and adapted to Lucas' needs. My daughter (12yo) has been learning electric guitar with Tom for the past 9 months and loves it. He is a calm and patient teacher who has been able to tailor the lessons to suit my daughter's ability and musical preference. She is making really good progress and is learning a lot of skills during her fortnightly lessons. Tom was kind enough to recommend a suitable first guitar and has given us lots of tips of where to find affordable accessories to further her learning. Having been a guitarist for going on 13 years now, I can say with confidence that since starting lessons with Tom, I've never enjoyed the process of both learning and playing guitar more than I have right now. Our lessons are tailored specifically towards me and are structured with a good balance of theory and practice, but there's still plenty of scope for me to request a specific song to learn or technique to look at. Tom's passion for his instrument and teaching is obvious and irresistible. I always look forward to our lessons and the next song, technique or point of theory I'll be learning. Thanks Tom!

I have been taking guitar lessons with Tom for just over a year now and I always look forward to our lessons. Tom is a great tutor. He has taught me how to read notes, different strumming techniques including finger plucking and how to understand the beats of the various songs I have learnt. I would totally recommend Tom to anyone who wants to learn guitar as a total beginner or to someone who wants to become a better player. He will take lessons at a pace to suit you and is always very encouraging.
